Winter wildlife photography is definitely one of the things I love the most, and this time I am bringing my tent and camping equipment, so that I can stay out for several days.
In this second episode I am lucky to find and photograph the muskoxen - what a great start on this 4-day trip.
I am looking forward to sharing this experience with you.

My name is Morten Hilmer and I am a professional nature and wildlife photographer.
I am a Nikon Ambassador and I work as an ILCP photographer.
Nature conservation is very close to my heart.
I have served in the Danish military special unit, the Sirius Patrol, for two years and that has given me the skills and confidence to operate alone in the arctic regions.

Well, I don’t even know what to say but thank you, Morten. For all the inspiration and all your work. I guess it’s my biology background but also people like you that have a big impact on how I want to treat wildlife.

Morton, simply amazing. The pictures you got were stunning. The care for the well being of the animals is great. I, like others have said, cannot believe videos of this quality are on TH-cam. These could very easily be NatGeo.

Hey Morten, My wife and I have been watching your videos together. We are both really enjoying them. Spending most of my life in Canada’s Yukon, I learned to love hiking and exploring in the back country. When I met my wife many many years ago, we began to share that experience together. This video was awesome because we could imagine exactly how you felt in that beautiful winter land. The fact that I am also an avid photographer just adds to the enjoyment. Anyway, we wanted to say that we really appreciate your down to earth videos. Definitely one of my favourite photography channels. Thank you.

Happy new year Morton, I visited Norway and Sweden a couple of years ago during winter. Coming from an Arid part of Australia it was as different to me as had I gone to the moon. I absolutely love watching your videos, I’m amazed a TV network hasn’t picked you up. Keep them coming you are inspirational
