    Nice vid, congrats on those 70s and the greasy one! LOL I think ANACS is a tough grader and not a poor cousin to PCGS nor NGC. I sent in an 1886 Morgan P that looked at least like a 63 or 65. Beautiful eye appeal, uncleaned, almost pristine fields and cheek and they called it MS61. I couldn't believe it. I see graded examples like mine but at a higher grade than 61.
    I have the 2021 Morgan and Peace dollars in OGP. Will look very closely at them for consideration of grading.
    As a gentle suggestion, when you kept talking about the "no FG", etc, I think it would have been good to explain that those are the initials of Frank Gasparro who designed it. Newbies might be wondering what you meant. Cheers, Bob

    Congrats on the results! The no FG is sweet. I unfortunately tend to shy away from buying ANACS coins. I don’t think they’re bad but I just don’t have the same confidence that I get from NGC and PCGS. It’s great that you don’t need a membership and that the turnaround is quick. Nicely done with the vid 👊

      People dont have a problem with ANACS graders. The ANACS "issue" is that pcgs and ngc get a little more at auction.

    • @ShawnTheRazor
      @ShawnTheRazor 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I just watched a video where a guy went through his PCGS submissions. They put 5C as the descriptor for a quarter. To me that's a very big mistake and doesn't instill much confidence. I'm going with Anacs for my first submission. I have purchased PCGS and still will, but overall I think they are overloaded and are starting to make mistakes. The quality is not what it used to be. At least not recently.

    This was a really enjoyable and interesting video. I hope to send some coins out for grading for the first time in the near future. After much research, I will say I really like Anacs. It depends what service you pick. They are running a special where you send in a minimum of 10 coins for $13 a piece. That is their economy service so the value of each coin can only be up to $500. Most of the regular services are between $15-$20 a coin. I think it depends what coins you are sending in to get graded but ANACS does a very good job overall and their coins seem to hold values close to NGC and PCGS. I usually say most coins bring about 90% of the value that PCGS and NGC get. ANACS has a pretty good reputation and are much more reasonable in price due to there not being a need for a membership. I feel like some people give ANACS a bad rap but their grading is strict and is very comparable to PCGS and NGC.

      Well that to bad but go try and sell your ANACS coin at a coin show and you will be disappointed. I sell alot of graded coins and it's worth paying more for a PCGS graded coin. When we see a ANACS MS65 coin we really see a MS64 in a PCGS holder and most dealers see the same.
