As a 2021 Gloster owner with 75000kms on the odo I can say with some conviction that this is an amazing machine and a highly underrated one at that. Over all I am an extremely impressed owner. There are a few short comings no doubt but all those can be lived with easily. My list of short comings are as below; 1. In normal driving modes the low end turbo lag is something that needs getting used to. In sport mode life gets much better but not comparable to instant punch of a Fortuner. Gloster, after the initial lag, pulls hard keeps pulling till about 160-170kph after which it starts to feel throttled. 2. Brakes can have a better bite. The brakes are progressive and adequate towards the second half but the spongy feeling is a bit unnerving at times. 3. Infotainment touch response is slow and lazy.
Hey, I'm curious to know how much you've spent on services for your car. Also, have you noticed any changes in the engine sound or other noises after crossing 50,000 kilometers? And what's the mileage you're getting? Let me know what you've experienced.
@@kayess99 Hi, Haven't spent anything more than scheduled service and a battery so far. Ofcourse I've upgraded the tyres and front grill from Storm Edition, which has nothing to do with upkeeping expenses. No unwanted noises or anything else so far at around 78k kms. All good and very happy with the performance. It still feels like new in most aspects.
@riteshnayak80 Thanks. 10 to 10.50 mileage is decent for this size & city traffic. Where do you mostly drive? I have read a few reviews on Team BHP people getting 14.5 to 15 on highways. Could this be true? I get 12 in my Audi A4 diesel & very happy with the car, just now happy with the service cost and recently water damaged electronic steering & spent hefty to get it working again. Since then, I have been thinking of replacing this German sedan. Although I wanted Petrol car since Delhi has a lot of restrictions when it comes to Diesel. But no petrol SUV offers luxury & ride quality. Am gonna miss the performance of my A4, but it's time to move on to something big.
MG Gloster is indeed is a great car with those amazing feature and far better option then other competition, who's making "Fortune" for just brand name. Pun intended.
Honestly this is not even a decent car ownership review... He couldn't way his experiences, ups, downs, underrated features, service experience, mileage, usability etc...
The MG Gloster commands attention with its imposing presence, offering a luxurious and spacious cabin that defines opulence in the premium SUV segment.
The interview lacked substance. To attract viewers, ensure your videos offer valuable content. Avoid delivering incomplete information. An ownership review should come from someone who has driven the car for 20,000 kilometers and visited the service center at least three times to provide a comprehensive understanding of the vehicle. This interview was a big disappointment.
We all know the features and feel. That you can see in a day or two with the suv. The real experience is MG is bullshit in after sales and services!! No responsibility after they get the money and zero accountability. Worst Management! Lame or biased review
Beware, It's a really bad product. Spends more time in the workshop than with us. Requires so many part replacements- Screen, A/C and its components, Sensors, 2 battery replacements in 3 years, 3 Alternator replacements in 3 years, pipes around the sunroof, A/C grill and knob breakdown. Every rain, the water seeps inside the car. Stalls on the road and we have to get crane to send it to the worship. We're only keeping the car since we had taken the extended warranty. Otherwise, it's a dangerous car to own considering its cost of maintenance and high need of parts replacement.
Owner is non technical and has no clue , one of those team lead or non tech PM type of guy, what wa waste of time. Zigwheels get better owners who know their stuff.

Gloster is my favourite car and these are the exact reasons...
its much more upgraded car then Toyota Fortuner and more premium than that.

Agree! This is time waste bullshit review
I thought this was like some kind of promotional interview for gloster
Completely paid. Both probably made a lot of money from it.

I owe MG gloaster from more than 3 years. There is lot to yalk about it, when we have driven all cars of its segment.
It is definitely better and more VFM than the overpriced and overhyped Fortuner.
Fortuner is way behind to get in the league of Gloster
Gloster directly competes with the cars which are more than double the price of gloster’s
Can anyone tell me if they have driven 4*2 Gloster as engine is a bit different. If I am not a big off roader, would 4*2 make sense...
You might feel underpower when completely loaded
Full review?? Did I miss something ?
Sir waiting for your CRETA facelift review

Looks like a scripted review
I don’t think that was a car review video
That’s called wasting time for the viewers

Good
Does this guy [buyer] really qualify for a car review aka ownership experience.
