Exceptional. Looks so handsome in its paint job. The interior is no slouch either. Can't imagine anyone who is seriously shopping, buying new or just a few years old for $200K-$300K more over this. Thank you James and Doug, the founder of this visual feast.
I still want to thank you for doing your video. I believe it was in Indio about Tru Toppers. I had mine done over Memorial Day weekend last year and I love them.
I live not far from there. You actually drove by my house on Hwy 151 after you got off of I-64. You stopped at a store to get fuel think, bringing a motorhome to Harrodsburg. Love watching your channel.
Why would anyone spend the money wanted for a new diesel pusher out of Indiana when they can get something as solid and robust as an older Country Coach. Great unit and great video.
@AZExpert, I just bought a new Thor class C about a month ago. I noticed that there are a couple of small bubbles in the roof material. Looks like not enough glue was put down in those areas. Should I be concerned?
Our 2003 Newmar Dutch Star D.P. has an independent front suspension by Holland NeWay. I wish It had a good straight axle so I could put a Safe-T--steer stabilizer on the coach. They say they have one for our IFS Holland NeWay but it's a little over 2000.00 instead of 5-600.00 installed. Coach hunts a bit going down the road and only has 53k miles on it. Beautiful CC Magna, James.
I want a class C but you really make me want one of these older A's. The size is just too big for where I want to go though but so nice to see these videos.
I am now quite familiar with the front IFS suspension that you showed on this Country Coach, Newell also used the same IFS. Its actually a Dana UK IFS 84 system, so the parts are from Europe. This is the only drawback to this system. Good news is that SuperSteer parts makes the tie rod ends, and Newell actually stocks quite a few of the parts for the IFS.
Hey James, do you have or can you point me to a good video on troubleshooting an on-board genertor that has just stopped charging? or at least does not kick in to light the coach. Mine is a 2000 Newmar with 5500kw that has been working asnit should and is low hours.
If you insist on making us do a rooftop inspection with you could you please include a sewer vent sniff test to make sure it's not clogged, at least we could look forward to you wincing 😂
Another great video as always. I know that you've done an auto start for a generator before but I was hoping you might do one for an older gen in a newer 5th wheel and manual controls. Specifically we have an Onan Marquis 7000 in our 2020 390 RK Solitude. Can an auto start be added to it easily? Is it something that an owner with moderate mechanical experience could do on their own? Thank You. OLT
i never think it was a 2003 the colors inside and out are somthing that will not be dated country coach has that big basement rims look new i would do a solar rack with panels and lifepo4 rack batterys not to many wifes are gona like the old man getting for a piss at 1 a.m ..great coach thank you for the view
The problem with being the expert is that you’ll always find yourself doing the jobs which require an expert, and I bet Doug is a man who gets his money’s worth on every deal. It’d be nice if you could incorporate a general interior height into your walk-throughs, as I’m at the upper end of normal height and try to picture what the maximum height one could be in order to be comfortable in the unit. We’re renovating a 2004 Foretravel U320 and that’s about 2” too short for me to pass under the bathroom door track, and that one was about the same on a 1996 Wanderlodge WB I had for a little while. The Detroit Series 60 was what made me lose my rational mind on that one…. Also I’m glad I got to hear you call the seating area a “J-Lounge” so I can inform my wife that what she’s been calling it is incorrect. She’s been calling it the “‘Male-Anatomy’ (ahem) Couch” ever since we’ve had the 2007 Dynasty, but I didn’t know what the proper name is, so the moniker kinda stuck.
Currently I have 540 videos that I have made. I try to cover as much as I can when I can with no real loyalty to brand or value. I think the surprising part is that lower end rigs cost more than many of these older higher end rigs.
@AZExpert I really liked your vid on changing awnings. The one where the awning guys came over and you filmed them. I was able to change my own after that vid. I've seen you have a vid on adjusting slides but I only saw yours. Is it possible to adjust a slide on a fifth wheel? Anyways love your channel. Keep up the good work!
I rather buy from the other guy who looks like Brian Dole Murray. I get a shady vibe from the guy at the end of the video although to be fair he could be a straight shooter but my gut screams used car salesman. I would have to check his reviews out thoroughly first.
While I appreciate the views and comment. That seems like an unkind comment tomake an accusation about a stranger on the internet but then stating you did not even look at the reviews. I doubt you would like that done to you.
Why do the roof seal jobs look so bad on motorhomes? I was a sealer for years on commercial aircraft and we would make the in-tank and exterior seal look real pretty straight and smooth like a machine did it. We took a lot of pride in our work.

You were talking about the paint on that coach and you said it is very subdued and eloquent excellent verbiage
I try to mix it up from "really good" and "very good" even though that's what my mind wants to say. Thank you! :)
I still want to thank you for doing your video. I believe it was in Indio about Tru Toppers. I had mine done over Memorial Day weekend last year and I love them.
I’m glad you are happy with your new topper!

Thumbs up 👍 you can see this was taken care of and maintained.
Wow. That is absolutely gorgeous!
Very nice. A little out of my price range. If I hit the stock market big, I’d buy it 😊
Doug's a good guy. If I were him, I would not take consignments at all. He is working you hard. Better to have the work than wanting the work!
Very nice coach 👌

Nice coach, I like the extra space when slide out is out, not when all squeezed in.
Very nice coach. I have a 2001 Georgie boy and I upgraded all my lights inside and out with brand new LEDs, much nicer lighting
Wishing I had the scratch to climb into owning that coach after watching this.
I’m sure whoever purchases it will be very happy with it.
Wow
You and me both!

For the shower I’d recommend frost paint. I saw someone who frosted a window and looked great.

My battery bank is litime as well. I've had it for a couple of years now with no issues.
Hard to beat Country Coach! Have an Affinity myself. Thinking about posting about it on my channel
Pretty unit
I want a class C but you really make me want one of these older A's. The size is just too big for where I want to go though but so nice to see these videos.
My dream come true.....perfect. you do a great job James. Go take a week off. Thank you

I love those older rigs, but if they haven't been maintained, it will cost many thousands to bring back.

QQQ I need to replace my clearance/marker/blinker/entrance lights. Do you have a go-to store for exterior RV lights? (2003 Bounder 35R)
Nice coach but no pantry or did I miss it during the tour?
Surprised by the amount of rust shown on the underside of the coach

👍
What is the fall 2024 RV market value for motorhomes?
You scare the crap out of me putting the camera over the rear.. Please be careful 🤗
🤛👍🦅🙏😎🇺🇸
Where are you located?
Is the roof here similar to a Winnebago roof?
Not even a little bit, its a gel-coat molded fiberglass, not a sheet material. But it does point out why I do not like the flexible solar panels.
my bad i thought it was a open bathroom to the bedroom
Five demerits for slamming toolbox drawer😅
If a SnapOn drawer can't be slammed, what good is a $25,000 toolbox? ;)
I really enjoy your videos. But the way you ride your dog around the neighborhood is very troubling. Are you worried that he'll get tired, or be hurt?
he has too much energy as it is
Do you really get more feedback from high end rigs? Seems lower end rigs with problems would be helpful..just my unworthy opinion

I’m surprised the magna didn’t have three roof ACs! my 2000 country coach affinity has three roof ACs and is 2 feet shorter than this one.
especially with a 12.5kw generator I agree
any thing after the 7TH Month would fall into the next year... it would be a 2003, just say`n
Tire shine on the tires is not good it makes them dry rot fatser. Its always salesmen that want tire shine on rv like its a car.

Short the market. You’ll be able to afford a Prevost in 1 year after the coming shit show

Where is your shop located?
