It's not the springs. The feed capture loading back on the bb gets hung up, that's why you get different pull weights. It has very tight tolerances for the bb to load correctly and then move back completely to engage the movement to fire. Small shifts in the alignment or when the gun starts to freeze up after a few shots will exasperate the problem. The trigger also needs to be pulled straight back at the bottom end to get leverage, if you pull upwards or near the top it becomes nasty, and double feeds will occur. This is partly an issue because it is a flat trigger design. I'll post a video after Christmas.

    One awesome video!
    Thanks! 😁👍🏻
I am personally a big fan of Sig. No. Not because of genius airgun engineering🤣 - but more because of just this; a flawed platform, to always improve. And this video showed quite well how this one is built. Seemingly a bit different again than most other models that I've worked on. That trigger bar spring placement truly was an odd choice; makes no real sense. Maybe got a ridiculously cheap deal on the specific spring model that got used for the job?🤣
I got interested in this model right when it got released. But I never got myself to buy one. Got a couple of other airpistol models instead which I had wanted for a long time. Well.. Gotta see wether gonna get myself one of these or not. Own a few of Sig's own pistol models from before, but no BB pistol models yet (not counting my KWC manufactured BB X-FIVEs here). But this system at least seems a bit more interesting to work on than the older already seen thru.. Truly an interesting case of anorher poorly designed mechanical system...

The design is solid, pretty novel engineering for a BB pinker. Its a near 1:1 of the firearm version, Sig wanted to get it as close as possible, so doing another type of modified KWC clone (avoiding any patent payouts) was not going to work. I am pretty sure a slightly redesigned top magazine to help with the feed issues and lowering the tension on the hammer/striker coil would make a lot easier to get the slide back.

The triggers on these are not bad compared to the glock 17 gen 5. That thing is trash

I won't argue with you there! It must be the belt they use in the Glock magazines because my Walther PPQ is basically the same gun but the trigger is much better.

@turbo15100 I was looking either at the ppq q4 or walther Q5 match
