Do I still love Glock, yes, of course, but if you laid 2 down on the table in front of me and said you gotta pick one to get in a gunfight with, I’m gonna pick the SIG almost every single time. The SIG reputation was marred with bad publicity, but I think that because it’s been able to prevail despite all of that, it’s just a testament to how rock solid that gun is when all the cards are laid out on the table.

From a safety perspective Glocks will forever be inherently safer because the firing pin is not fully primed even with one in the chamber, that’s why the trigger pull is longer and “squishier” whereas sigs the firing pin is fully cocked and can have a lighter shorter trigger travel distance. This is also the reason sig 320 has a reputation for “going off on it own.” Sig kinda admitted this fact when they redesigned the trigger for the p365 series. The p320 trigger has almost 0 take up, whereas the p365 does have some. This makes it harder to have the gun accidentally go off because the added take up forces the user to be very deliberate whereas the p320 can almost be compared to a house of cards.
Please explain in what ways is it better , I’m a huge Glock guy and I really want to love sig (as an MP the m17 is our standard issue, but I just hate it) I’m trying to find that sig that changes my mind
First, it’s truly modular, it has better ergonomics (not a Luger’s grip angle), better triggers, stainless components, real steel and excellent sights, direct mounted optic cut for both Delta Point and RMR (not the bullchit MOS garbage) and the ability to add an external safety (yes people are still suing stating Glocks are going off in the holster (complete nonsense as in the SIG cases). In addition the X5 is one of the most popular and successful competition guns on the planet showcasing the versatility of the platform.
For one thing, the trigger on the Sig is so much better. Even if you don’t touch the trigger! Btw, of course they say the issue is fixed. Thats because they calculate how much they lose on the military contract, and subtract the cost of litigation. If legal costs are less than what they take in, that means the problem is fixed. Once legal costs approach revenue, they will do a voluntary recall and withdraw the military contract. They have fixed nothing. Its the way auto companies do recalls. Glock is still a better pistol. All my Sig friends either make excuses for their malfunctions, the rest have switched back to Glock.
i like Glock but i just wish they upgrade it.. sights are not good trigger is ok grip could use more stippling. slide would be nice with better/deeper cuts and all these things to complain about other companies do it STANDARD and cost just about the same... but id buy another glock yes.
At the very least you can’t change out grip modules on the Glock. Which being able to change out the grip is what opens up the opportunity to change out the slides
I know this is a preference. I just got rid of an m&p 2.0 compact (with the new trigger) for a glock 19 and I'm in love. I really really wanted to like the 2.0 I just couldn't rock with it. Feature wise I know the 2.0 was better I just mesh with the 19 more. Not here to argue brother just curious as to why you like the m&p more for yourself? Btw the grip texture on m&p are lovely
Sig just work❤trigger better sights better optic cut. My glock fails to ereject 😪.😢 I hate trigger changing it, and I lose reliability. Sights suck they good for the job but they will come out after 700 rounds. Glock flex more when fired.
Hey, if Glock is what people want grab a Glock I don’t care. That being said, however, right out of the box Sig is the way to go. The OEM trigger on a Glock is pure trash slop for days and the reset is long. It’s just a terrible experience that’s why it’s the first thing everybody changes out
I have 3 SIG P320s in different sizes and calibers l have 1 Lone Wolf LTD 19 which is basically a Glock 19 clone or copy with a different grip angle than a Glock 19 can't go wrong really with what ever one of these 2 you pick SIG P320 Fullsize or Carry or Compact or Glock 19 or 45 or 19X or 17 the Glock is substantially lighter than the SIG P320 but l favor the P320
Im thinking of trading in my 320 Vtac edition, px4 storm .45 (with some mods) and probably (Haven't decided yet) my 365 (Only because I already got the 365 Legion) for a P226. I just don't know which variet yet, I can go with the SAO shots great, I can go with the X5 or the X5 Legion or I can go with the rare one that Zev makes.
I have two upgraded models of each gun. The Sig P320 AXG Scorpion and the G45 Gunsite model…the Sig stomps the Glock and the Gen 4 Glocks did have issues but nothing to see here
Glock did not win the X17 bid because they failed to meet the modularity requirement. The most important piece of the Army’s requirement, and Glock just not meet it. They depended on “Everybody loves Glock” mentality, so we will be a sure win. So let’s move on and agree that the value of any firearm depends on needs of the individual and their ability to safely handle one. My suggestion for new buyers is to list their requirements for a firearm. There are ones that will meet multiple purposes.
Team SIG only P226 P229 P220 Never any 320 ever Glock 17 or Glock 21c if I had to put my life on it and I was picking two guns it have to be the Glock 17

This makes it harder to have the gun accidentally go off because the added take up forces the user to be very deliberate whereas the p320 can almost be compared to a house of cards.
Glock all day
Sig, better than the Glock in every way…
Please explain in what ways is it better , I’m a huge Glock guy and I really want to love sig (as an MP the m17 is our standard issue, but I just hate it) I’m trying to find that sig that changes my mind
@@F30__Zay, look at Icarus grip modules. These were both conceived and developed by a group of 1st Group dudes…
For me it’s still Glock. Proven
Own , Carry and love both. I lean sig slightly and only have a sig sticker on my vehicle 😂
Hc320xl 1/2x28 black restock ETA?
Sig: “shake awake isnt just for red dots anymore!”
Glock: “Naw! We good!”
i like Glock but i just wish they upgrade it..
sights are not good
trigger is ok
grip could use more stippling. slide would be nice with better/deeper cuts
and all these things to complain about other companies do it STANDARD and cost just about the same...
but id buy another glock yes.
The fact that you said the Glock isn’t as modifiable is interesting. You can do anything to a Glock you can with a sig.
At the very least you can’t change out grip modules on the Glock. Which being able to change out the grip is what opens up the opportunity to change out the slides
M&P over both.
Never been a fan of sigs double decker bus design
Learn to shoot the gun and stop blaming bore axis. Beretta and 1911 also have high bore axis and no one complains about those 2. It’s all bias.
@@great_deceptionwell to be fair those are metal frame guns.
Sig just work❤trigger better sights better optic cut. My glock fails to ereject 😪.😢 I hate trigger changing it, and I lose reliability. Sights suck they good for the job but they will come out after 700 rounds. Glock flex more when fired.
Dude can't believe your company is in my state literally 30-40 min from me in youngstown
I'm team Smith and Wesson with the new trigger. Talk about it !
I put a nice Holosun on it and have had no trouble.
I have both, the glock is a way better carry, the SIG with that setup is heavy and big.
That’s an older P320, I think review the newer ones with the thinner triggers and updated FCU.
We have both. We don't notice any sizeable difference.
Title of the video says 2024 so use the modern versions. The newer version was released by Sig to address misfire concerns.
@@ivvatchvideoswhy would it matter
I have both.
Glock is on duty since over 20 years...Let Sig arrive there ..and we will talk again !
Had a G19 Gen 4 but when i shot my friend’s p320,I traded my glock and got the p320 and im lovin it now,i can shoot a tail of a hummingbird with it💯
Oh that’s ez Sig p320 won an haven’t watch the video yet!! Team Sig all the way!!
Perfection
I have all 5 calibers of the P320
Love my SIG VTAC.
SIG
I’d take a stock sig over a stock Glock but an upgraded Glock over an upgraded sig
SIG all day. I love my Sig p320 M18
Both great guns ,but my vote goes to Sig 320!
Which is better.? Obvious. Smith and wesson.
I have two upgraded models of each gun. The Sig P320 AXG Scorpion and the G45 Gunsite model…the Sig stomps the Glock and the Gen 4 Glocks did have issues but nothing to see here
the only time i have ever heard anyone say that Glocks aren't customizable enough for them. lol
320 all day😊
I'm team sig, However, The Glock was the original build your own..
Sig all the way 💪🏽🔥
Team SIG only P226 P229 P220 Never any 320 ever Glock 17 or Glock 21c if I had to put my life on it and I was picking two guns it have to be the Glock 17
Team Sig !!! all day i give glock its credit
I got both just to be sure .
