Just rode it for the first time with my wife today. Was terrified when we got to the park but started with riptide rockit, then moved to velocicoaster, and by then this was just a thrill. You don't even feel the loops. Completely smooth ride. If you are afraid of coasters, velocicoaster is more frightening than this one, but only because of the speed. Excellent ride and easily best in the park. Do NOT be intimidated you will love it

I lived in South Florida for most of my life. Always went to Universal/Islands once a year. In all the time I have been to the theme parks, I always thought that the Hulk was terrifying. just because all of the loops. Boy, was I wrong. Not nearly as thrilling as Velocicoaster. But still exhilarating. got on it for the first time about a year ago, and it's by far one of my faves.

I'm from the UK, and went on this in 2001 and 2003, and then came back for another go in October 2023 as a dad with my 11 year old daughter. It's still my favourite, and my daughter loved it, we went on it six times that day, and came back the next day for another six goes. Universal, as time moves forward, you must preserve this masterpiece!

She’s like, “I don’t want you to ride if you’re scared to,” but I didn’t wanna quit since we were already close to the end of the line. I did it, but it was too big of a push for me. Cried and screamed for help the whole way through. Didn’t even see the scenery, because I was bracing and shutting my eyes the whole time. Ended up drinking 3 butter beers and 3 iceys afterword, because of the after adrenaline. Laughed at the picture they took though.

After being a coaster junkie for many years, this one still wins for most intense coaster I've ever been on. The launch and first sequence is nuts. I normally get off bigger coasters wanting more - more speed, more drops, more intensity but this ride gave me all I could handle. It's the only hypercoaster that's ever made me have to take a break from riding anything for 20-30 minutes while my stomach settled. That's how you know it's a winner lol.

If you are scared of Coasters this is def an intermediate coaster and would be best to start off on some smaller slower coasters first before you work up to this. Most fun ever had on a coaster!

Just rode this yesterday not a long wait time at all super super smooth not scary at all it is super fun you don’t even really realize your upside down and the g forces push back in your seat super fun recommended
I got to ride this a couple years ago with my family, first ride of the entire park. Sat in the front seat, and I was too short to even reach the floor so I had to brace myself against the speakers. 😂 Wish I could have ridden the other coasters in the park, but I'm glad we got to do at least one!
Literally went on this ride today, I cant lie I was completely shitting myself when I was in the 10 min line with my dad, but once I was on and had set off I was laughing and screaming my ass off, this ride is honestly so smooth you don’t feel anything at all, we were at the back aswell, there was one or two drops you could slightly feel but that could be because we were once again at the back. I’m not a roller coaster person at all but this ride was honestly wicked, and well worth a try! Especially with all the speed, the beginning bit was the best part in my opinion 😼
This was my first big roller Coaster I decided to go on after my my brother and dad kept nagging me to get on with them. Do not regret it and can't wait to get on it again next month! If you can do this Coaster you can do Velocicoaster!

To anyone who might be watching this deciding to go on it or not i recommend it 100% i am a 14 year old boy whose sister 16 loves rollercoasters like this she's been on rip ride rock it velocicoaster ect and i hate big drops i dislike the tiny drop on pirates of the Caribbean rise of the resistance even space mount freaks me out so when looking at this you would think the i would hate the big drops but i don't know what they do but those big drops are soooo much fun i love them it feels less like your dropping and more like your gliding/flying around if you hate drops and are afraid of going on this i still 100% recommend it its sooo much fun.
This was my experience: I got a 5 day pass to Universal Studios, it was the second day and this was the first ride I went on at Universal, I decided not to watch the ride and wanted it to be a surprise. Well to say I did not expect the launch is an understatement. I am used to coasters that just slowly move you to the top and then as you make it to the top you fall, nope this was shoots you out of the the first spot spins you around as you go down. Crazy ride, but crazy fun I now know that is shoots you out but oh what I would do to be able to experience this ride again for the first time!

There are roller coasters that offer more variety, but few are as iconic as this one. This friction wheel launch with the zero G roll and the immediately following cobra roll is simply unique.

I completely understand this feeling. I'm going to Universal next week, I'm scared of a lot of coasters too. I'm watching videos to try and sike myself up to ride them when I go 😭 I'm still scared and have a lot of anxiety about it. 100% my favorite ride at Universal. It’s super smooth, and I feel the thrill while also not feeling super super scared. The Velocicoaster is also very good, but that one definitely is much scarier to me. Still both incredible rides
Just rode this and velocicoaster today, this was my favorite. Heavy on the G’s, lighter on the drops, and a strong opening invert. I don’t like drops, but I tolerate them to enjoy everything else that I do enjoy. This does bang you around a bit, to be fair.

2023 there is mist starting at 0:24 and ending at 0:26 😊. The hulk coaster is definitely my fav and if your kids can ride rip rid rocket or velocicoaster then they can definitely do this. Although I recommend doing this ride as one of your last ones (or just work your way up to it) because it is pretty intense. Your kiddo would probably need to be about 9-10 years old to ride due to height. Bye! ❤

def recommend this coaster! if you have a fear of roller coasters this is a great one to get over your fear the launch scared me half to death and I was terrified waiting in the line but it was so worth it!!! it so smooth and again a great starter if you get the chance to go to universal make sure you hit this one up its legit amazing wait times for it are usually pretty long but if you go during a chill time, you'll be fine. Anyway, hope this helps for anybody that is debating going on the hulk!!

I went to Universal in April to get over my fear of the roller coasters that go upside down. I had never rode the hulk or even heard of Velocicoaster before going. As soon as my group entered the park, we were making our way to Hagrid’s. Since the wait time was to long we backtracked and started with Velocicoaster, which happened to be the first ride I ever went on that went upside down. The intensity of it was perfect and it felt awesome, glasses almost fell off. I rode the Hulk after for the first time, Hulk felt like nothing. Even if it had more upside down moments.
I went to universal Orlando as a road trip/ belated bachelor party for my buddy, and I think this was the 2nd thing we rode, and dear God dip it mess up my back for the rest of the day. And I was on 29 at the time
My first time I went to universal Orlando this year for my 25th birthday in February. I only rode the mummy and the Simpsons and other rides that were more calming but only because I’ve never been on a real roller coaster like the hulk but then again I’ll maybe give it a try when I go again for my birthday
This was the ride my parents forced me on to get over my fear of inversions 😂😂 first roller coaster with inversions and I get grumpy when I have to ride roller coasters without them now lol
i’m a chicken when it comes to roller coasters. i’m always the friend that stays off and holds the bags. but, i went on during my trip to orlando and it was honestly so fun. i’m def more open to roller coasters after this. it is a pretty intense ride, but it’s smooth so you barely feel anything. the only stomach-drop feeling you have is at the beginning when you take off and do the twist. other than that, i def recommend going on it. jus keep your head back, bc i made the mistake of pushing it forward and i got a bit of a headache and felt dizzy bc of the amount of intensity it has
Went on this ride the first time recently, as I’ve always been afraid to try a roller coaster like it… I kept my eyes closed most of the time after the ride shoots you out unexpectedly. The only time I opened it, I saw mostly black like I was about to pass out 😀 i didn’t have time to scream as I had to focus on my breathing so I wouldn’t pass out. Felt my hands and feet getting numb like pins and needles. After the ride ended, I couldn’t open my hands all the way as I was gripping the bars on the chest restraints so hard 😀 needless to say I will probably never do this again but glad I tried it, everyone else in my family enjoyed it though 😁 very intense ride, I can see why roller coaster enthusiasts enjoy it, but I will stick to my dudley do-right’s ripsaw falls and the mummy ride 😁
We went on this ride in 2022 and I don't know what was happening that day but it was SO rough, the headache we had when we came off was insane. The ride is super enjoyable and really intense but that one time we rode it just rattled us so much it basically wrote us off for the rest of the day. I think we were just really unlucky with something on that train was throwing it off because all I've ever heard about it is that its smooth 😅
I always liked how the Marvel section at this park is a lot more based on the comic books instead of movies. I know it’s because they don’t have the rights of Marvel movies but the comics are better in the first place. It’s got a great charm :)
When I went on it I was terrified. I was shaking so much because before it had been delayed for a day and closed for a day and it opened right up after an hour. It was the best roller coaster I’ve ever been on it was so much fun?

@@circuitry400 only went on this one once but I found out i almost pass out at the start whenever I'm not in the front, maybe some weird forces get put on you when you are in the back. Could also be that i was on the inside instead of the outside so i was turning less distance
@@circuitry400 Hulk pulls way more Gs than Veloci particularly in the cobra roll and first loop. I gray out a bit on those elements, and that is usually is a sensation you only get on even more extreme roller coasters like Fury 325 and Intimidator 305, but no Hulk is just intense as hell
Walked into Universal being completely scared of Rollercoaster except for Rocknrollercoaster. This was my first ride in the park. By the time I left, it was nothing compared to Velocicoaster and Rip Ride Rockit.

def recommend this coaster! if you have a fear of roller coasters this is a great one to get over your fear the launch scared me half to death and I was terrified waiting in the line but it was so worth it!!! it so smooth and again a great starter if you get the chance to go to universal make sure you hit this one up its legit amazing wait times for it are usually pretty long but if you go during a chill time, you'll be fine. Anyway, hope this helps for anybody that is debating going on the hulk!!

this ride was terrifying but so exciting at the same time! one thing is that it was a little bumpy but besides that so fun
this ride is suuuuuuuuper fun and I really recommend riding it! but when I rode it it felt pretty rough and it was making my neck hurt, probably because the ride is older though

I went to Universal in April to get over my fear of the roller coasters that go upside down. I had never rode the hulk or even heard of Velocicoaster before going. As soon as my group entered the park, we were making our way to Hagrid’s. Since the wait time was to long we backtracked and started with Velocicoaster, which happened to be the first ride I ever went on that went upside down. The intensity of it was perfect and it felt awesome, glasses almost fell off. I rode the Hulk after for the first time, Hulk felt like nothing. Even if it had more upside down moments.

I went to universal Orlando as a road trip/ belated bachelor party for my buddy, and I think this was the 2nd thing we rode, and dear God dip it mess up my back for the rest of the day. And I was on 29 at the time
My first time I went to universal Orlando this year for my 25th birthday in February. I only rode the mummy and the Simpsons and other rides that were more calming but only because I’ve never been on a real roller coaster like the hulk but then again I’ll maybe give it a try when I go again for my birthday
This was the ride my parents forced me on to get over my fear of inversions 😂😂 first roller coaster with inversions and I get grumpy when I have to ride roller coasters without them now lol

i’m a chicken when it comes to roller coasters. i’m always the friend that stays off and holds the bags. but, i went on during my trip to orlando and it was honestly so fun. i’m def more open to roller coasters after this. it is a pretty intense ride, but it’s smooth so you barely feel anything. the only stomach-drop feeling you have is at the beginning when you take off and do the twist. other than that, i def recommend going on it. jus keep your head back, bc i made the mistake of pushing it forward and i got a bit of a headache and felt dizzy bc of the amount of intensity it has
Went on this ride the first time recently, as I’ve always been afraid to try a roller coaster like it… I kept my eyes closed most of the time after the ride shoots you out unexpectedly. The only time I opened it, I saw mostly black like I was about to pass out 😀 i didn’t have time to scream as I had to focus on my breathing so I wouldn’t pass out. Felt my hands and feet getting numb like pins and needles. After the ride ended, I couldn’t open my hands all the way as I was gripping the bars on the chest restraints so hard 😀 needless to say I will probably never do this again but glad I tried it, everyone else in my family enjoyed it though 😁 very intense ride, I can see why roller coaster enthusiasts enjoy it, but I will stick to my dudley do-right’s ripsaw falls and the mummy ride 😁

We went on this ride in 2022 and I don't know what was happening that day but it was SO rough, the headache we had when we came off was insane. The ride is super enjoyable and really intense but that one time we rode it just rattled us so much it basically wrote us off for the rest of the day. I think we were just really unlucky with something on that train was throwing it off because all I've ever heard about it is that its smooth 😅
I always liked how the Marvel section at this park is a lot more based on the comic books instead of movies. I know it’s because they don’t have the rights of Marvel movies but the comics are better in the first place. It’s got a great charm :)

When I went on it I was terrified. I was shaking so much because before it had been delayed for a day and closed for a day and it opened right up after an hour. It was the best roller coaster I’ve ever been on it was so much fun?
Gonna ride it tomorrow, i already did the velociraptor ride. I was darn terrified of that one, hopefully this one goes better!

This one has way more inversions than Velocicoaster but is definitely not as intense. Once you get past the launch in the beginning the rest is cake.
@@teenagemovieguy7816 interesting! I thought velocicoaster was less intense than this one. I passed out almost twice on this coaster, while on velocicoaster I just had pure fun, no lightheadedness. Perhaps I caught this coaster on a bad day? (I do love the music though)
@@circuitry400 only went on this one once but I found out i almost pass out at the start whenever I'm not in the front, maybe some weird forces get put on you when you are in the back. Could also be that i was on the inside instead of the outside so i was turning less distance
@@circuitry400 Hulk pulls way more Gs than Veloci particularly in the cobra roll and first loop. I gray out a bit on those elements, and that is usually is a sensation you only get on even more extreme roller coasters like Fury 325 and Intimidator 305, but no Hulk is just intense as hell
Just rode this ride in person today an it was extremely fun and felt long as crap
Walked into Universal being completely scared of Rollercoaster except for Rocknrollercoaster. This was my first ride in the park. By the time I left, it was nothing compared to Velocicoaster and Rip Ride Rockit.
