Just ridden hulk yesterday for the first time. Greyed out the first whole section of the ride until the tunnel. This right is indeed very intense. And was flying across the track
This coaster is the bane of my existence as a coaster enthusiast. The first time I went to Universal, I wasn't tall enough. The second time, was when they were retracking it in 2016. One day...
I went to Universal Orlando in 2003, when I was almost 11. I saved the Hulk for the end of the day as I was plucking up the courage to finally do it (on my own - I'm an only child and my parents didn't want to go on it lol). I finished it and I LOVED it so much I ended up doing it about another six or seven times that evening. That was a great day.
3:00 Those aren't only track pieces meant to look like the ride itself being ripped apart, that IS part of the original track reused for the entrance marquee. Super cool fun fact I love!
I took a friend to Universal for his first visit and we walked into the Hulk queue before there were any trains running. We ended up in the last car of the first train of the day. I told him nothing about the ride before we got on and it was before TH-cam so he didn't know what to expect. Believe me when I tell you you have never heard a grown man scream as loud or as long as when that train launched out of the tunnel! Such a great ride.
Such an iconic ride that I can always vividly remembering riding when I went to Florida ages ago - but it feels odd as I can never remember the second half, it feels like it never happened
Like you, the Hulk was my first big boy coaster and it will always hold a special place in my heart. I'm a UOAP holder and its always a stop i have to make on every trip, usually multiple times. Perfection.
Seeing the smile on my daughter's face when we were riding hulk became one of the best moments of my life. Rode it six times with her, than the fear of coasters became a passion.
I did DeceptiCoaster last summer and it is quite good! It is buttery smooth. The positives are definitely still there and the theming is absolutely immaculate. It also has a fantastic locker system that actually uses Face ID! However the whip you’d get on the Hulk going into that zero g roll and the cobra roll and the first corkscrew is completely gone, which is a big bummer for me.
This is 100% me with how I became a fanatic. I had been so afraid of most big coasters. I had ridden Batman at SFOT but that was the only big coaster I'd ride then we went to Orlando and I road Hulk and was off to the races. I road Hagrids, Rip Ride, and Velocicoaster and since then I've been om the journey to ride any and everything I can.
IOA was only a year old when I went on my HS Class trip. The launch surprised us. Hulk instantly shot to my number 1 for many years. I wish they kept the original story with the updated theming. The original launch audio was awesome.
It's funny that you credit the Hulkster with being the roller coaster that started your obsession with coasters to begin with, because this was the very first ride that got me into roller coasters too! I think it was in 2005 or 2006, but I'm not 100% sure. Now, keep in mind that before then, and to my regret, I had avoided amusement parks like the plague. My dad kind of ruined that prospect for me when he insisted on taking me on this simulator ride when I was a kid (5 or 6 I think), which I soon came to associate with stomach-churning aches and nausea, as if I had eaten way too much. Needless to say, Six Flags Georgia was far away from my thoughts, and we never went while living in Atlanta, to my relief at the time. Around the time that I was 15 or 16, my family and I were out at Universal, and my father suggested giving the Hulk another try. Before I saw those test seats that they leave outside for guests to try in order to make sure that they can ride safely, I always wondered how riders routinely rode these *things* without falling out and going *splat* on the ground below. Upon inspecting the seat and trying on the Over-the-Shoulder Restraint and seat belt for the first time, I understood, and concluded that of the worst things that could happen, falling out of the train and breaking every bone in my body was a practically impossible event. This also began my obsession with different kinds of restraints, how they work, and now I consider lowering the restraints or strapping myself in as part of the quintessential part of the ride experience, akin to a very import part of some ritual. As the line reached the car, I experienced something that I regrettably don't experience much anymore. My hands and legs would shake, but as I sat down, I realized that it wasn't just from fear, but from anticipation. This only happens very rarely now on rides that I've been anticipating for a long time. But I didn't understand why people loved these things until during the ride. The inversions, the launch and loops that pushes you aggressively back in your seat-it is like being wrapped in this cocoon of invisible energy. And like some drug, some sex addict, I could not get enough. I've ridden the Incredible Hulk more times than I can count, with only the long lines preventing me from truly marathoning it, but even so, I've easily ridden it 3 or 4 times in one day. In fact, that was the last time I rode the Hulk (and my cousin was with me, which made the experience all the better!) I've also gone on some rides that some might consider truly insane, such as the Slingshots and even a Skyscraper ever since, and I'm now anticipating trying the Velocicoaster for my Birthday with my (same) cousin in a couple of weeks, even if the Hulkster is subjectively more intense. Speaking of the Hulk, I don't think I would have ever tried an inverting roller coaster without OTSRs if I had never gone on in the first place, and had done so multiple times with the train getting delayed before entering the station being the biggest incident I've experienced. At this point, I trust the thrill ride industry, trust my ability to intuitively know how to use whatever restraints they decide to use safely and effectively, and I trust implicitly influencers/content producers such as yourself who are knowledgeable about which rides are safe and recommended and which are not, even if I think that the notion of an inverting coaster without OTSR is *batshit INSANE*! On another note, am I built differently? Because I've never had a problem with greying out on the Hulk. Then again, I've been on this ride so many times, that's there's not much of anything new to see, and I'll often just close my eyes, so that I can sharpen my sense touch, and just focus entirely on the feeling of being inverted and pulling G's. I've been on this ride so much, I think I can recognize each element with my eyes closed, but this also means that I wouldn't be able to tell if I'm greying out! It's kind of funny, reading this description of the Hulk of being this "Super Intense Looping Coaster", especially when compared to many of the other coasters that have been featured on this channel. Mindbender (RIP), I305, X2... These all appear make the Hulk appear tame in comparison. Perhaps the Incredible Hulk is deserving of the title "Super Intense Looping Coaster", but to me, it will always be "My First Roller Coaster", it will always hold a special place in my heart, and I intend to be there when they finish the next retracking, which they will likely have to do again to keep it operating. But it is so iconic, I can't imagine anything taking its place. I think that it is the perfect starter coaster for tweens who have not experience roller coasters as of yet. The Hulk encapsulates everything that makes these train-like machines great, but without being overwhelming, and I hope that he will faithfully remain there to please new riders for generations to come. Note: I re-did this after going to the gym, and having dinner, because I knew I could write this so much better! implicitly
I just rode it 10 days ago a It's amazing it was my 5 time I love when it comes out the tunnel and it says roar but when I was on the ride and it came out the tunnel I heard the roar which was really cool
I've been on Hulk twice now. Each time I banged my head exactly once, but it didn't hurt at all, so I didn't mind. The launch is probably my favorite launch that I've been on, though I haven't been on that many launch coasters. B&M verticle loops are always a good time, so any time there's 2 of them is more than welcome. It's a really good way to start the day at Islands and is more than worthy to be in the same park as Velocicoaster and Hagrids.
Hulk was also the first big coaster I went on that really got me into coasters. My dad got me on it for my 13th bday. It holds a special place in my heart and is probably one of my most ridden coasters. I hope they never get rid of it
One of my all time favorites! First rode it back in 2005. While it wasn’t my first coaster, it was the first one with inversions! I have ridden this coaster the most. We go to Universal Orlando at least every year and I find myself ridding this at least 4-5 times a trip. **Best hack for Hulk is the Single Rider line.** When we were there in March the regular queue was like 30-40 minutes and single rider was a walk on. After 3 consecutive rides in about 10 minutes I had to take a break lol
I marathon’d this beast last September when there were zero lines. It was basically a walk on. But let me tell you, after 5 consecutive rides I actually felt sick. And I never get sick of roller coasters. What an absolute beauty of a ride.
Went to Universal for the first time earlier this year. It was great! I like how in Hulk and Velocicoaster the security camera footage of the cue line and layout, located in the ride operations room, add to the theming of both rides.
This is incredible. The Hulk was also the first coaster that really got me into bigger coasters, the original one before the re-track that is. It took me all day to muster up the courage to ride it. I got to experience Dueling Dragons shortly after and that was that for me.
0:38 i also credit the hulk for my love of coasters! I was 10 at the time and was very scared. My family convinced me to go on it since we wouldnt be coming back (its very expensive for a family to go to florida from europe for a few weeks lol) They all told me id regret it, and im so happy i rode it. After my first ride i just remember being so happy and asking to go on again and again! Its definitely a special coaster to me too. Thanks to it, im not scared of any rollercoaster and i dream of going back to america to ride the even bigger ones.
"This ride is loud" (in reference to the ride itself, not the audio track) The crazy thing is that now it's even quieter than it was! The original iteration had no sand inside the track, so what would happen is that as the vehicle would move it would vibrate the track. Those reverberations would echo inside the box spine on the track and get amplified, resulting in every single launch being heard all across the park. I vividly remember as a kid walking into the Dueling Dragons line and hearing the Hulk launch all the way across the park. The new version has some amount of sand inside the track to dampen the noise so that it's still loud, but not as loud as it once was.
A few seconds in and that's a really sweet story about this being the ride to get you into rides. I have a similar experience with a ride in this park... the Velocicoaster! I was super nervous to ride it when I first went on it in May of 2022, but I credit it with getting me into roller coasters. 150 credits later and I've come a long way ;)
It's interesting to hear you say that riding The Incredible Hulk was the beginning of your interest for roller coaster. Growing up, larger roller coasters always intimidated me and going upside down was the one thing I was not willing to try. Hulk was the first upside down ride I tried and I immediately wondered why I had made such a big deal out of it since I found we were strapped so safely into the seat that it really was not that big of a deal. I got the chance to attend a private event where the company had rented the Marvel section of Islands of Adventure and since there was no lineup, the ride operators offered for us to stay on Hulk and go for another turn, so I did get to do a few consecutive laps on it. (We also got to do the same on Doctor Doom's Fearfall ride.) That was a pretty epic evening.
Every time I go to Islands of Adventure I get several rides on this. It is absolutely a must do for any coaster fanatics and one of my all time favorites! Lines used to be super long for this, but now with Velocicoaster open they are actually shorter since that ride is new and seemed to have it's crowd shifting over there. Both are great rides btw.
I'm 31 years old and just rode it for the the first time today, can't believe I was afraid of this ride back in 2003 and couldn't stomach it. I live in Florida and have an annual pass, this is definitely going to be the first thing I ride in the morning; I am now confident to tackle Velocicoaster, but it rained today and I couldn't get on. I didn't gray out or feel any jerkiness, it was incredibly smooth and fast.
Went to Islands of Adventure for the first time December 2023, had an absolute blast on Hulk, Velocicoaster, and the queue line of Hagrids. Really loved all the areas, especially the bridge paths at velocicoaster.
Love this ride. First got on it 17 years ago when I was 11 on a family holiday to FL. I think it's a really heavily slept on ride and one of B&Ms best.
As a native Floridian who has been riding this ride for over 15 years now, this ride got me into roller coasters too! It is one of my favorite rides of all time, forever and always. I credit it with inspiring my love of roller coasters, and theme parks in general. The theming, pacing, the launch, the sounds, everything about it. It is such a well done ride so much fun, and one of the best B&M rides out there. That said, I will forever miss Bruce Banner screaming as the AI voice counts down in the background during the launch, the Hulk is not the same without it.
That is a 100% accurate review. I've been on Hulk many times since my first visit to IOA in 2002, and a few times since the retrack as well. You hit every point perfectly, from the fantastic uphill launch into the zero-g roll, to the forceful cobra roll, (I also love both vertical loops so much - but I also love vertical loops more than any other inversion....zero-g rolls are close behind), to the lackluster second half after the break run. I wonder if the break run happened slightly earlier in the ride and they moved one of the earlier inversions to the second half so that there'd be two inversions instead of one after the midcourse, if that would have evened out the pace better? But that first half is fire. I still prefer Velocicoaster these days by a mile, but Hulk was epic when it was the new kid in town.
Always had a slight fear of Hulk due to remembering a lot of head bouncing. But last summer re-rode it for the first time in years (my first rides were after the refurb) and it was WAY smoother than I remembered. Especially keeping your head forward, it doesnt bang you up too much if you are prepared.
Every time I go to IOA I always ride the Hulk. It is very nostalgic for me as it was my first big rollercoaster. Yes it is bumpy but I love it. Been a fan since 2000 😁
I have so much love for this ride…technically this is one of my home parks and I didn’t get to personally ride this until I was 15 I believe. This and dueling Dragons is the rides that made me want to try bigger and more intense rides. Now every time I go I make sure I pose for the camera it’s instinctual for me 😂🤭
Just made a trip here for the first time a month ago. I went by myself, and the single rider lines are awesome. While hulk was a 30 minute wait, I went on 4 times in a row and just walked on. Almost every single rider line was a walk on. Even on Saturday most of them were a walk on or less than 15 minutes while the regular line was an hour
Definitely one of the better B&M loopers. It was also my first "big coaster". I've ridden both versions of hulk and both have some headbanging against the restraints. The last time I rode it was in the rain and the raindrops felt like water bullets with how fast your going
8 rides in a row without getting off is my limit before i about pass out. Hulk is my favorite ride of all time. Riding during Orlando Informer makes it even better. Nobody in line, ride as much as you want. Or can handle.
The only time I've experienced it was when it first opened in 99. It was probably my 3rd biggest coaster of my life at that point, as a few months prior, my first 2 biggest coasters ever, were Apollo's Chariot and Alpie. From what I remember, I thought it was the best coaster I've been on at that time, even after doing Dueling Dragons earlier on in the day.
I've been on Decepticoaster for more than 70 times, and i can tell Incredible Hulk feels more like the old B&M style with some crazy transitions but Decepticoaster feels like the new gen B&M looper with slower and more gradual transitions and it feels newer of course with these ‘vests'😂, it's hard to say which one is better because they kind of have different styles, but definitely both of them are really good ride !
On my most recent vacation in October, I greyed out at the bottom of the valley all through the cobra roll and recovered right before the vertical loop lol. It was weird because I had never greyed out that intense, even on this ride.
Fun fact that fake track for the entrance is former old track and that train on it is an OG train. Also about the smoothness, as of recently Kumba was given new wheels and a few tweaks to somehow be as smooth as Mako. So I wonder if something like that can impact the smoothness on these types of B&M coasters.
Taylor, you and I are so similar! We’re both just about similar age, also both from VA. And you rode this ride for the first time in 2011, I rode it for the first time in 2012. Both of us a bit nervous at first but after… mannnn it was so much fun I could almost guarantee your family went on an Orlando trip, hitting the parks like Disney Universal and Sea World, same with me but just a year later!
love the hulk rode it for the first time in 20 years last month. still as much fun as I remember. I also road velocicoaster for the first time and found the hulk to be much smoother/les jerky which surprised me
Good points about the roughness, I made the mistake of starting the day with this one 😆Sitting at the back even after the refurb was fun but properly and surprisingly rough, would recommend sitting up front for a smoother ride if you don't want to feel like your brain is bouncing in your head. I also don't remember the soundtrack being present, or maybe it wasn't playing when I rode it in 2023. Hagrids and Velocicoaster felt smooth like butter/flying in comparison
The one time I went to this park (nearly a decade ago now) Hulk was closed :( but at least I could marathon dueling dragons right before they closed for good. Such a unique invert. IMO stuff like velocicoaster can't replace the uniqueness and thrill of dueling inverts.
I was still a kid when I rode Hulk back in 2009 (pre retrack) it was only my second ever thrill coaster and was quite the step up from the Alton Towers Corkscrew also is to this day is still my number 4 coaster behind, Red Force, Nemesis & Shambhala.
I rode on it with my dad years ago, he had no clue about the launch…I was going to tell him prior but I was like everyone knows it launches you….best surprise ever, poor dad tho lol
Ride has such a good first half but dies down so much in the second like you said, for that reason it's the 3rd best at Universal behind Velocicoaster and Hagrids. I remember marathoning this one night and got at least 6 rides on it back to back
Having ridden Hulk for the first time last week, I concur with everything you’ve said. I will add that it ran pretty rough…similar to that of Riddlers Revenge at SFMM. Still worth it for the launch and first inversion and that sweet sweet mist.
fun fact: Hulk was used in the movie House on Haunted hill, the scene its used in is cheesy just like the roller coaster scene in Final Destination 3 but its not bad. Also, best seat on Hulk is in the back row, double buckle seat
The Hulk was my first rollercoaster and it is still one of my favorites in Florida. I really miss the old launch audio of Bruce Banner realizing the experiment is going wrong and as he turns into the hulk you shoot off.
Great ride. Was super lucky last time at IOA, got in the single rider line, walked right up to the station and right into the line for the front and only had to wait one train.
In some ways, I kinda wish they kept the original audio that you hear during the lift section before you launch. When Bruce Banner says "I think... I think this time, it's going to work" then the computer comes in, saying there's a malfunction, and Bruce screams "No, No, Noooo!" as it launches out of the top. I haven't been on this ride since maybe 2017/18, but I did go on it when the re-tracking had taken place. (Edit: I haven't been to this park since Velocicoaster and Hagrid's came to the park if that helps, but I was there before both of them came to the park.) So I don't know if they brought it back or not, or if it was there when the re-tracking and that took place and I don't remember it, but I always liked that part. I do really like this ride, and just like you said, will always ride it every time I go to this park.
i remember riding this back in early feb 2020 right before the global shutdown. sadly near the end of january i got hit with the worst flu i've ever had so going to universal i wasn't 100% recovered, but i said i was not going to post pone vacation. well i get on the hulk my 1st night in row 5. i swear it must have been me still recovering because that launch felt extra forceful and i started graying out a tad, but came back full sight just after the launch exit. i re-rode it last year for the 1st time since 2020, and for me this time the launch felt punchy, but not the grey out kick me in the teeth feel from last time.
went on this a few days ago for the first time. it was actually a longer line than velocicoaster. it’s very intense, you gray out during the 1st half, but the ride is kinda rough.
Finally Hulk getting the love it deserves! The intensity is on point. Hate me but I prefer this over Kumba. Even if Hulk’s second half is weaker and Kumba keeps it up the all the way… I think it has to do with the scenic views, launch, park location, history and theming.
Hi Coaster Studios! Have you guys every tryed "ride'sims"? You basically control roller coasters and rides virtualy, and its really fun. You should do a video on trying it!
R.I.P. Dueling Dragons
B&M will never make an invert like this again
I’m so mad they took it out
@@zero-gravitythrills7163 same :'(
Fire was one of my favorite coasters. I miss the early days when it dualed and the re-ride door.
Starfall Racers will make up for it.
Just ridden hulk yesterday for the first time. Greyed out the first whole section of the ride until the tunnel. This right is indeed very intense. And was flying across the track
Hi thijmen!!!
i was graying out the whole time in early april
Ello
Wake up boys thijmen commented on a coaster studios video.
I actually banged my head on the restraint a little. It was so intense that it felt like I was watching a movie.
Fun fact: the track you walk under that the Hulk is ripping up is actually track pieces that were salvaged from the original ride before the re-track.
I really miss how loud the original version was.
Such a great idea
Hulk’s entrance is just so amazing
makes sense bruh
Nice Google skills did you come up with that on your own or did TH-cam tell ya this information? What would society do without the internet 😂
Such a strong B&M. Really glad Universal did the full refurb to ensure that Hulk sticks around!
This coaster is the bane of my existence as a coaster enthusiast. The first time I went to Universal, I wasn't tall enough. The second time, was when they were retracking it in 2016. One day...

How does he not know what’s going to happen you walk under the entire thing on the way to the entrance 😂😂
This coaster always held a sweet spot in my heart since I was a child. I love kumba, but man I’d pick this one any day over the two it packs a PUNCH!
Such an iconic ride that I can always vividly remembering riding when I went to Florida ages ago - but it feels odd as I can never remember the second half, it feels like it never happened

I’m so glad you decided to remaster the Hulk review! The original review was based on the “incredibly” rough old version.
It was long overdue! Can’t believe it took us this long to do it haha
Seeing the smile on my daughter's face when we were riding hulk became one of the best moments of my life. Rode it six times with her, than the fear of coasters became a passion.
This was the first coaster I experienced at Universal Orlando. It set the pace for the rest of my visit. Great memories!
Worked this ride my last year of college after the refurb. Glad to see you cover it, brought back lots of memories.

Actually, Universal reused the old track for the new entrance. Saves money and still achieves the same effect

Rode this for the first time last week, love it so much! It is a VERY close second to Velocicoaster for me. I hope they keep it going forever!
The 1st half of this ride is still one of the best, and I love the way the ground vibrates now with each launch
Hulk is and will always be my ride or die at IOA.
I just rode it 10 days ago a
It's amazing it was my 5 time I love when it comes out the tunnel and it says roar but when I was on the ride and it came out the tunnel I heard the roar which was really cool
My first ride on Hulk was in 2018 and I remember thinking that I loved that because it was so smooth. I cannot say the same about my 2023 rides.

Hulk is a must ride on every visit
I marathon’d this beast last September when there were zero lines. It was basically a walk on. But let me tell you, after 5 consecutive rides I actually felt sick. And I never get sick of roller coasters. What an absolute beauty of a ride.
Great review - such an iconic ride!
My family convinced me to go on it since we wouldnt be coming back (its very expensive for a family to go to florida from europe for a few weeks lol)
They all told me id regret it, and im so happy i rode it. After my first ride i just remember being so happy and asking to go on again and again!
Its definitely a special coaster to me too. Thanks to it, im not scared of any rollercoaster and i dream of going back to america to ride the even bigger ones.
Riding in August for the first time! (I’m English), looking forward to watching!
"This ride is loud" (in reference to the ride itself, not the audio track)
The crazy thing is that now it's even quieter than it was!
I loved roller coasters before the Hulk but ABSOLUTELY LOVED ROLLER COASTERS after the Hulk. Also original Dueling Dragons helped in that effect.
I'm glad I wasn't the only one who rode this for the first time and thought I rode 2 different rides. 1 Ruthless Beast and 1 Kiddy coaster post MCBR
Now every time I go I make sure I pose for the camera it’s instinctual for me 😂🤭
I rode Hulk in 2007 that was my first and only visit till now to Universal studios. What an amazing coaster . 😊
This is one of my favourite coasters. The best coaster at Universal as of 2019.
One of 2 coasters that broke down when I was on it
I've been on Decepticoaster for more than 70 times, and i can tell Incredible Hulk feels more like the old B&M style with some crazy transitions but Decepticoaster feels like the new gen B&M looper with slower and more gradual transitions and it feels newer of course with these ‘vests'😂, it's hard to say which one is better because they kind of have different styles, but definitely both of them are really good ride !
I think i met you guys when you were filming for this. Yall are so nice, sorry for interrupting one of your shots 😂
You’re totally fine! Thanks for saying hi, hope you had a great day :)
YES! IVE BEEN WAITING FOR A REVIEW!
HONEY, NOT NOW! COASTER STUDIOS UPLOADED! 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥💯💯🗣️💯
The update to the ride is great but I did have a good appreciation for the look of the older trains, and the original audio from the launch.
Taylor, you and I are so similar!
We’re both just about similar age, also both from VA. And you rode this ride for the first time in 2011, I rode it for the first time in 2012. Both of us a bit nervous at first but after… mannnn it was so much fun
I could almost guarantee your family went on an Orlando trip, hitting the parks like Disney Universal and Sea World, same with me but just a year later!
We actually only went to Islands of Adventure and Magic Kingdom! I didn’t visit the other Orlando parks until 2017
Unbelievable ride - universal Orlando is one of my favourite spots.
love the hulk rode it for the first time in 20 years last month. still as much fun as I remember.
A true classic at this point.
Man I still just love these reviews.
I was still a kid when I rode Hulk back in 2009 (pre retrack) it was only my second ever thrill coaster and was quite the step up from the Alton Towers Corkscrew also is to this day is still my number 4 coaster behind, Red Force, Nemesis & Shambhala.
The pieces of track that you walk under to enter the queue are pieces of the original Hulk track prior to refurbishment.
I rode on it with my dad years ago, he had no clue about the launch…I was going to tell him prior but I was like everyone knows it launches you….best surprise ever, poor dad tho lol
The hulk will forever be in one of my fav lists because it was one of the first roller coasters.
“i can’t imagine marathoning it” lol i’ve done 8 rides in a row, it’s so good!
The only coaster to have ever made me completely black out, and more than once! One of the most intense rides out there.
oh jeez, definitely dont ever go on i305 then! haha
This thing is a roaring intense B&M monster, I absolutely love this thing. Its definitely the most intense ride in the park in my opinion.
Ride has such a good first half but dies down so much in the second like you said, for that reason it's the 3rd best at Universal behind Velocicoaster and Hagrids. I remember marathoning this one night and got at least 6 rides on it back to back
Hulk is intense. The first time I rode it, I had a massive grey out in the valley between the launch and cobra roll.
Having ridden Hulk for the first time last week, I concur with everything you’ve said. I will add that it ran pretty rough…similar to that of Riddlers Revenge at SFMM. Still worth it for the launch and first inversion and that sweet sweet mist.
Rode it back in 2006 and still cant keep the tears in my eyes. ❤
YES! this is my current favorite roller coaster (yes, over velocicoaster don't judge me) and I'm glad to see a review
back in Orlando in September and cant wait to get back on Hulk
Experienced it in 2004, I was 15. Im now 35. I will never forget it, my first major coaster!
Love this coaster. My former number 1 when I didn’t have that many credits. I like Kumba a bit more but this thing is still a beast
fun fact: Hulk was used in the movie House on Haunted hill, the scene its used in is cheesy just like the roller coaster scene in Final Destination 3 but its not bad. Also, best seat on Hulk is in the back row, double buckle seat
I love how this ride just rips your head off. Best ride in the park.
Velocicoaster is right there man
The Hulk was my first rollercoaster and it is still one of my favorites in Florida. I really miss the old launch audio of Bruce Banner realizing the experiment is going wrong and as he turns into the hulk you shoot off.
Great ride. Was super lucky last time at IOA, got in the single rider line, walked right up to the station and right into the line for the front and only had to wait one train.
I didnt know about the launch when i rode this for the first time. That first ride was so epic and memorable
(Edit: I haven't been to this park since Velocicoaster and Hagrid's came to the park if that helps, but I was there before both of them came to the park.)
So I don't know if they brought it back or not, or if it was there when the re-tracking and that took place and I don't remember it, but I always liked that part.
I do really like this ride, and just like you said, will always ride it every time I go to this park.
Not related, but thank you so much for making the Cameo for my son's birthday! He was so surprised and he loved it.
So glad he enjoyed it!
I went earlier this year and the single rider line was almost a walk on. It was great and I was able to ride it like 10 times.
i remember riding this back in early feb 2020 right before the global shutdown. sadly near the end of january i got hit with the worst flu i've ever had so going to universal i wasn't 100% recovered, but i said i was not going to post pone vacation. well i get on the hulk my 1st night in row 5. i swear it must have been me still recovering because that launch felt extra forceful and i started graying out a tad, but came back full sight just after the launch exit. i re-rode it last year for the 1st time since 2020, and for me this time the launch felt punchy, but not the grey out kick me in the teeth feel from last time.
The positive Gs on this one are no joke. Feels like the actual Hulk is sitting on your chest.
Awe man I wish I experienced this with the audio
went on this a few days ago for the first time. it was actually a longer line than velocicoaster. it’s very intense, you gray out during the 1st half, but the ride is kinda rough.
Finally Hulk getting the love it deserves! The intensity is on point. Hate me but I prefer this over Kumba. Even if Hulk’s second half is weaker and Kumba keeps it up the all the way… I think it has to do with the scenic views, launch, park location, history and theming.
The first time I rode, I slammed at the MCBR. The resulting hangtime in the corkscrew was pretty sweet. Overall a great ride!
Hi Coaster Studios! Have you guys every tryed "ride'sims"? You basically control roller coasters and rides virtualy, and its really fun. You should do a video on trying it!
