Yes. Advisors can seem extremely uptight and some even intimidating, but at the end of the day their job is to help you progress successfully towards degree completion. It’s your journey, they’re just their to help guide you in the right direction.

Make and videos about what to write in email for a request of appointment. I'm from a third world country and here in our universities their are no career counselors ond academic advisors. So we have only our teaching professor for these purposes. I'm really confused how to consult my professor. Kindly help me in this.
Forgive me for the late reply. In this case, send them an email stating, "Hello Professor (insert last name). I need your help. I'm thinking about my career options and I need some guidance on whether or not my next steps are best. Could you and I schedule some time to talk about this when you have some availability?"
