Me: goes to Home Depot and makes a lightsaber and buys led lights
My first lightsaber cost 40 dollars worth of materials and weighed 6 pounds lmao.
How many grown men AND WOMEN have waited their entire lives to do something like this?? ;-) *raises hand* ME!!

Thank you for sharing the whole experience, I teared up when all the lightsabers light up and everyone lifts theirs up, it's so emotional ❤️ We will be there next week but didn't make any reservations bc we aren't sure if we'll even be able to get into the land (will have two little ones in tow... Logistics can be tricky lol) but if I can I want to do this! If not, will save it for next time.

God I Can't wait when the Covid-19 is over, Going to Disney World, The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios is on my bucket List, along with Going to Sea world and Universal Studios, The First Thing I would do is Build a Lightsaber and Build a Droid, My Ideal Lightsaber would be a Power and Control, and The Kyber Crystal would be a Red one, and My Ideal Droid would have a White Body, Red Dome Head, Red and Blue Legs, Blue and white Accessories, and It would have a Resistance Chip, and It would be an R-2 Unit, Because They're Awesome, and I would get the Backpack, That way I can carry it on my back like a Baby.

Finally built it today. Totally worth it. Unbelievable experience.
That was amazing. I got chills watching
Flying to Florida on Saturday and got a reservation on Sunday to build one. Still not decided on which style I want. Such a hard decision!! I like the Protection and Defense for its uniqueness but does look like with will have to lining up issues so swaying more to the Power & control. But then I also like the classic peace & justice. ARGHHHH!!!

Thank you for sharing this experience I’m not really a Star Wars fan but my son who’s 22 yrs he wants to build one when we go on our next trip sometime in 2021 That’s when we want to go to celebrate my 50th years old and WDW 50th Anniversary I also got goosebumps threw out the video
Going back in January to build mine. Elemental Nature for sure! I have a feeling I'm going to be crying through the entire experience.
39 years old, I'm visiting FL again for my 11th time all the way from the UK. I have this reserved for Wednesday next week and I can NOT wait.
I don't know when I'll get the chance to build a lightsaber, but it's definitely on my bucket list now more than ever! I don't know what kind I'll want to build yet, except I already know which kyber crystal I want. Another great video, as always!

Which would you perfer droid or lightsaver ? Or do you consider to do both. Holy cow that was PHENOMENAL. That gave me chills through the phone.

#1 rule of building your own scrap metal (lightsaber) is to never ever aim the top of the lightsaber to your face or risk having the blade go right through your head.
At the very least, you'll get a really bad hair cut out of it. 😉
I'll keep that in mind and so will everyone else. But, the only question is for many is how to get it on the plane or in a luggage bag whenever such as myself would take a lightsaber home (I've always wondered how to do it). Without drawing the attention of the First Order, of course.

For the OCD people, plumber’s tape around the trades will help you align your lightsaber when you get home! I wish I could show my lightsaber. Great experience!!!

Quick tip: grab some teflon tape or some rubber washers. Either will help you get closer to lining everything up the way you want. Not to throw shade on the naysayers, but your $215 doesn't just get you a lightsaber. The pin and the saber sheath you get may not add that much to what you pay for the saber but you can figure those three items for around half. You get a chance to build something out of metal that's going to last a while longer than the kid's ones, you get to have the experience in a nice climate controlled room and the kid deep inside you that you left behind gets to come out and play....even if it's just for a little while.
Now we can have a lightsaber fight the next time we come down. 😂🤣😂
If someone buys a crystal for the sabers can they use it when making one
When you get there do you just get in line to pay and get a time or do you have to plan ahead to be able to build your own?

I just realized that you could buy lightsaber building kits and kyber crystals separately at dock ondars for for cheaper, so couldn't you technically get the lightsaber for like $50? You wouldn't get the experience but you still get the saber

Old comment is old, but I think many people go for the experience in the first place. And yes, maybe you could get it cheaper that way, but it would probably cost as much as if not more than the legacy sabers.

Me being a massive Star Wars geek would LOVE to do this. One problem, I've read and heard stories of how much of a bi**h it is to take them home on the planes. So Jedi Master Josh, Jedi Empress Taylor, how can a Padawan bring their saber onto a Starship & bring them back to their home planet? LOL.
GQMofo I have seen several people say they carry it on the plane and the flight attendant puts it in the coat closet for them
Personally I put the hilt in my case and then put the blade in the sheath and put it in the over head lockers that way the case can bend a little at the top to fit it in
I flew mine home from Anaheim in its case whole and no problems. I was flying standby as well. It helped that it was a pretty empty plane and I just put it in the overhead.
Until I hold one of these in my hands, this don’t look $200 a person worth

Not for $200. My son has built many of the other lightsaber they had be for for like $21 and they sit in his closet.
