Nice vid. Had hard time finding the bullet connector leads on my 2022 Ninja 400 until I removed the plug and could see them.

hey m8 i'm an electrician and i can assure you that you do still need a fuse inline, the relay does not act as a fuse in any capacity, it simply routes the current. of course it will work without the fuse, but now the circuit has no protection and if there is any cause of electrical fault between the power supply and the outlet, you risk damaging any equipment connected to the circuit, ie a phone, or the wiring itself. please if you get time, reinstall a fuse inline. 3:35

What type of fuse would be used in this situation?

@@Dillbeet an inline fuse. basic automotive type. 10amp probably. it is simply there to protect the device from overcurrent in the event that the circuit has a fault. (the device being anything plugged into that usb outlet and the usb outlet and wiring itself) most of these usb outlets have an inline fuse already in the wires. but some do not.

The accessory wires are already wired to a fuse in the fuse box.

@@Carred20 so no need for a fuse? Where is the fuse box located?

Aaah so this is actually really hard because no cable except the kawasaki kit for $95.95 will come with the cable where it has positive and negative that plugs into the back of the outlet/usb that screws on the Ninja dash panel and the other end the male female bullet connector. So i want to know how to make/build bullet connectors but dont know how. So i get you buy that little plastic, strip the ends of cable and after you stick them in the plastic hole you just crimp it( which means squeeze it?). Does sticking it in hole and squeezing plastic over stripped cable all you need to do?
When you said i stripped, you said something i have no idea what it means but need to know, what does “14 to 16 for these mean”?

14 to 16 in the video refers the gauge wire he used. There's alternate relays and chargers that'll run you around $40-50 for everything you need.

I understand where the charger goes. I understand where the fuse goes. Where the f*ck do the wires connect?

I had the same question, I looked around and saw my bike had 2 stray bullet connectors where his were at 4:04. Mine were tucked away in the same spot tho.
