TST should point out these cups are not large enough for an impact socket. You have to buy a regular 24mm socket as is shown in the video, but not mention (or on the order page). Great protectors and look fabulous!!
If you have our captive chain adjusters then that doesnt need to be realigned and adjusted. Otherwise i recommend re-doing all of the adjustment to the rear wheel and chain drive elements
Not yet. I have been posting on local forums to find someone who is interested in bringing the bike in for measurements but have struck out thus far. Any chance you are local to us?
@@TSTindustries ok looking forward to see some great products for my 701! I would help you out with my 701 immediately but my location could be a problem😂 I’m from Germany ...but heart belongs to sunstate Florida.
Most standard sockets have a thin enough wall to get in there. If you are using an impact socket then that will probably have a thicker wall and not fit
@@benyaboss That's a bit of a loaded question. The simple answer is that for the rear, we offer products that don't involve taking the axle off to install them. But there are a few other things we kept in mind for this model.
@@TSTindustries The other guys also sell spools and spool sliders. I'm actually using their spool sliders. I want a matching set of front and rear axle sliders, and I like your design better. Will it work? I would put regular spools on the swingarm.
The guys on Apollo13 mission built a carbon dioxide scrubber using duct tape, a box, and some odds and ends. ...i think this can still be done. But there will be some safety concessions made so i don't want any part of that. I would suggest you borrow a proper stand and make your installation on the safest possible way.
Keep more good shit like this coming for the 400!!!
That was a simple and easy installment . Now just take my money for those side makers/turn signals
Hello, is that just a 1/2" metal rod you used for this install?
Quick question for the Ninja 400 spool sliders. Do i need to use a torque wrench and if so how many ft. lbs. does it need?

I’ve been tryn to get a socket that fits for a minute. 🤣
Hi, when you use the rod method is there a need to check alignment after?
@@MiracleLegumes no, everything self aligns when axle is back in and torqued properly.
Hey TST, what brand was the front stand? Is it on your guy’s website?
That is a Pitbull Racing product. We used to sell them until the factory stopped wanting to go through dealers.
@@TSTindustries awesome thank you for the quick reply🙏
does this rod technique work with the rear axle as well ? does the chain adjusters need to be realigned

What front fender did you use?
Metallic black. Kawasaki or CARBON FIBER hot bodies?
Thanx.
This is a carbon fiber front fender we're contemplating bringing on-board.
@@TSTindustriesplease make carbon fiber parts for the z400
Do you have TST Husqvarna 701 Supermoto parts available?
Cheers

How did you get the clip ons to look so aggressive? Are those your clip ons or woodcraft/vortex?
I think it's all angles. They look like the stock ones.
What socket set do you have that’s thin enough to get inside of it!

Hello TST! Will there be different color options other than black? Say a nice blue?!
At this time we only plan on offering a black kit but if demand changes we can explore other color options.
So do you just yolo it without the cotter pin when you put it back together...?
Watch the video again and pay attention to my commentary at 1:56 and on
@@TSTindustries Thanks, missed that. Got these and the frame sliders on and it looks awesome!
Work on front & back?
Only for the front. We have a few different options for the rear including GP lifters, Spools, and Spool Sliders.
@@TSTindustries thank u!
@@TSTindustries Another popular brand makes one that fits front or rear. Why does yours not?

I don't have a front stand :/ can this be installed without one?

To much talking
You can just mute the video if that is your jam.
LMAO TST!!
