Steam Train 3526 from Sydney to Broadmeadow featuring Parallel Run

Enjoy a historical steam train trip behind steam train 3526 from Concord West in Sydney’s Northern suburbs all the way to Broadmeadow on the far end of the Central Coast in New South Wales also in this video we get to have a parallel run with steam Locomotive 6029 the largest steam locomotive in the Southern Hemisphere from Denistone to Thornleigh and then steam Train 6029 passes us again at Hawkesbury River before we continue our journey along the Brisbane water all the way through to Broadmeadow on a beautiful sunny day. These steam locomotives were transferring to Maitland in preparation for steamfest 2024.

That was an awesome video - not 1 but 2 iconic steam locomotives - 6029 & 3526. To make it even more awesome you caught them running parallel - great catch. The 6029 is a huge beast of a locomotive. Just love the sound of the steam whistle - such a unique sound. I also loved hearing 3526 start to strain as it made its way up those inclines. What a great video & what a great view. Thanks for sharing
