At the end of the test the lady administering my polygraph kept saying I showed signs of deception and kept trying to get me to admit to taking drugs or selling drugs. I admitted to being in the same room at parties with acquaintances that were smoking weed but I never touched the stuff then she went on this "Why didn't you call the police?" rant, that shows me you're not trustworthy. I was like "are you serious lady?". That was back in 2018, I heard they laxed up on the poly portion due to a very, very high number of candidates being dropped plus they really need people now. As a former LEO and Army Veteran it is so stupid to train Federal Agents as if they are in the military and in things that they will never do in service...
@@Nokia09191980 not how it works. The poly examiners are horrible from what I’ve heard at CBP. I may just do another agency’s poly first and then CBP after so CBP doesn’t fuck me over,
@@IffyEdem Sounds pretty vague. A poly is a poly - they ask you questions based on your answers to the personal history statement. Tell the truth, you're good to go.
Jrock: why what happened? sorry to hear must suckk know it's disappointing not makin it it kinda tuff physical..i saw preReq to qualify.. like run sprint 220yds like 25 sec... do 1.3 mile run in 13mins.. think it said on today's website. plus mental tests.. intervs.. ohh a polygraph? maybe? omg smfh.. people don't know all what goes into this

Law, Police Science, Firearms, Less Lethal Weapons - it's a police academy for specialized officers.
We didn't do any of that nonsense when I graduated in 2008.

This academy is soft......Try boot camp in the 90's or BP basic about 20 years ago.
