I think overall the colours are so cute, I wish they would name the shades with more relation to animal crossing too. Lots of brands seem to hit the mark with the collection name and branding but then just use oddly generic shade names 🧐 You look stunning though!

They do add SHIMMER for blendability which is why a lot of older eyeshadows were satin instead of matte but a matte with GLITTER has no blend purpose- it’s just weird. A fad I personally do not understand!!

I have read that a little bit of sparkle makes mattes blend better. Not sure if that's true, but those shades always work well for me, and they looked very smoothly blended in both of your looks. 💜💙

Animal crossing is super fun and it's a time killer for sure, however you have to put a lot of work into your island. There was a reason it was SUPER popular last Spring when Quarantine first started. I recommend you play AFTER Easter because the Easter event the have is annoying as hell.

the shadows look great on you but I wish colour pop was more inclusive and made shades and blushes for darker skin tones. they are leaving a whole audeince out

I love you & the looks you did but as a AC and Colourpop fan, this collab was so disappointing. They could’ve done so much and used other characters or concepts that are used for EVERY AC collab. 💓
if I'm been honest I'm not a fan of the game so to me looking at the collection as someone who doesn't play it, I really enjoyed it but like you said you are a fan so you would know exactly what you would want from it. hope that makes sense!
