LOL ROCIO you’re such a GEM! Contour is usually ashy in color to give the illusion of a shadow which creates a hollow effect. Bronzer is usually golden in color to give an illusion of warmth from within the skin which creates a youthful sun kissed effect

I save my boxes for storage too!!! Sephora bags also make good storage on a shelf bc you can just fill them and stand them up! 😊All my cream SFX makeup is in a Colourpop box😂. Plus the Sugarpill ones are cute! Ah a girl after my own heart! Colorful AND saves stuff to repurpose! (A lot of my SFX props and reference items for painting came from things I kept for later.😊)

Rocio, I forgot which eye primer you’re using now that you don’t use the P Louise base. Was it colorpop concealer? I know you told us before but I just can’t remember. It’s like on the tip of my tongue lol. As usual this look is so stunning. Girl you are so talented.
I either use the ABH eye primer or recently i received the huda beauty concealer in whipped cream and it’s kind of the same pale white color as ABH and that’s what I used in this tutorial sorry I didn’t mention it!
I’ve always gotten disappointed by Covergirl products. I pretty much gave up on their stuff years ago. I tried their new foundations this past year and I don’t have a match and the tru matte had me greasy. I don’t have a bad opinion of Covergirl, their products just don’t do anything for me (except the mascaras). Anyway, great look! Everything looks amazing on you!

Oh don't suffer! I have the MOST AWESOME QUIET AC UNIT!!!! It's VERY reasonable! I have it in my studio where I do my beauty/fantasy/SFX makeup and film for TH-cam too and it saved my a$$! I had just started TH-cam last year and my old AC wasn't keeping the room cool enough anymore so I reviewed it when I got it to help out other people with health issues and other You Tube creators! You’re creating content for the people who enjoy it. BUUUUTT... I do understand how it feels to want to aid everyone who leans on you for assistance. Instead of trying to please everyone from the makeup novice all the way to the makeup guru looking for inspo all in one video.. try making a separate “episode” on your channel for the beginners. Like every Monday, you’ll tackle a beginner-friendly look, where you pick one struggle you’ve overcome and explain in detail exactly why you struggled and how u overcame. Then every other video, you can challenge yourself to do the craziest, most intricate looks your heart desires. Don’t dumb yourself down and stifle your creativity because you got some people on TH-cam saying your looks are too hard. No way. Fuck that shit!!! I challenge you to make the hardest look you can think of and share with us just how proud of yourself you are after destroying this challenge. Makeuptiffanyj has some of the most beautifully organized tutorials I’ve ever seen on TH-cam, off top! (I love your cheesy personality which shines through when you’re talking to camera so I’m not suggesting you switch to voiceovers lol) but the way she edits her brush type on screen as she uses it means she never has to think about saying what brush she is using and can focus on explaining her technique and the product instead. She also creates some very intricate eye looks and I think she could be a great influence for you to really challenge your creativity while you’re young and your eyelids are easy to work with lol as opposed to “dumbing” down your looks attempting to please those couple dozen people who say your looks are too hard. You’re incredible, you make incredible content and you’ve gotta remind yourself of that before you film every time. Film for YOU and people will follow. It made me sad when your anxieties about pleasing everyone came through as heavily as they did today :( I know this is like an essay and I’m sorry lol but I had to say all this because I’m pretty sure you’re like 18 and you’re still figuring out who you are and why you’re amazing. Anyway, the moment you let go of all the restrictions you’ve put on yourself regarding what types of looks you can create in YOUR videos because a couple people might think it’s too hard, too many cut creases, or too expensive to be considered “affordable...” well little lady, that’s the moment you’re gonna blow up, I can promise you that. Makeuptiffanyj has some of the most beautifully organized tutorials I’ve ever seen on TH-cam, off top! (I love your cheesy personality which shines through when you’re talking to camera so I’m not suggesting you switch to voiceovers lol) but the way she edits her brush type on screen as she uses it means she never has to think about saying what brush she is using and can focus on explaining her technique and the product instead.
She also creates some very intricate eye looks and I think she could be a great influence for you to really challenge your creativity while you’re young and your eyelids are easy to work with lol as opposed to “dumbing” down your looks attempting to please those couple dozen people who say your looks are too hard.
You’re incredible, you make incredible content and you’ve gotta remind yourself of that before you film every time. Film for YOU and people will follow. It made me sad when your anxieties about pleasing everyone came through as heavily as they did today :(
I know this is like an essay and I’m sorry lol but I had to say all this because I’m pretty sure you’re like 18 and you’re still figuring out who you are and why you’re amazing.
Anyway, the moment you let go of all the restrictions you’ve put on yourself regarding what types of looks you can create in YOUR videos because a couple people might think it’s too hard, too many cut creases, or too expensive to be considered “affordable...” well little lady, that’s the moment you’re gonna blow up, I can promise you that. You’re getting there but once you proudly let your freak flag fly and say “fuck you” to anyone who tells you differently, it’s a wrap! Lol
