Thanks for the promo. All public settings are settable in real time. Many of them like light visibility, color, and angle are automatically calculated so if you attempt to change them, they'll be overwritten instantly while enabled_in_game or enabled_in_editor are set. Code should work in 4.3. Haven't tried 4.4, so haven't experienced the bug found yet.
Where were you guys when I was writing that hang gliding simulator a while ago? Oooh! I wonder if there are ecclipses! That'd be nice! if there were, could they be set to output a value?
This is amazing, i and hopefully its optimized enough to not need a lot of tweaking, and easy enough to dissect and reassemble for the learning purposes
That looks so great for the game that I decided to start for this year's resolution and... Wait, it's Jan 7th already? I blew it, I'll have to wait until the next Jan 1st then.
This looks quite an amazing project, however in my current game project I've already began writing my own skybox tools. I may take this and dissect it's code to see what I can learn from it.
Yeah, there's an amazing sky shader with sun and moon in GodotShaders but it does affect performance... I'd like to see if this addon is better than that one.
It looks promising. As for Sky3D - the Sun goes up, but the shadows on the buildings are static. Looks strange. Probably Gamesfromscratch missed smth in the settings
In other words: set up a json for soft rain, other for mild rain, other for normal rain other for heavy rain, other for thunderstorm with the proper config schema and load whichever you want with a tween in between and sh*t's done. This is not a "very neat project" this is a major time-saver. I can see WeatherFX-lib of ready-to-use configs for this thing.
I don't know about everybody else, but I'm excitedly waiting for a big 4.4 update and I would prefer if these titles were more direct (e.g., "Powerful Sky Plugin Revived for Godot 4.x") with a straightforward, clear-cut thumbnail (e.g., big "IT'S BACK (AND BETTER)" text over what you already have). I don't know that I'd go so far as to say I feel misled, but I am neurodivergent enough to unsubscribe if it happens too often

Thank you so much for your work! So cool! :D

Thanks for the highlight of this add-on! 👏👏👏
Their Terrain system is a boon, can't wait to try the sky system!
Thanks for keeping guys like me in the loop. Much appreciated. Great content. Kudos +5
Mike coming out swinging like Donkey Kong!
🤨

Try start on Monday 😂

WHOAAAA love it. Im gonna use both for my game
the problem with those shaders is that they tank performance. need to test this to see for myself.
Seems to be a common problem with a lot of godot extensions. They are benchmarked with the assumption that there won't be any other assets

@@kidmosey I think the poor performance has something to do with no options for shader permutations.
I promise that as soon as I find the time I will get my hands on it

Great work by the devs.
best plugin, hopefully they complete the trifecta with a rain and snow plugin
Anyone know of a demo that has a moon that cycles through phases?
How can we draw all the chemtrails in this sky?
Terrain for your game in spain on a plain I'm insane in the brain feel no pain down the lane in the rain
🗣️🗣️🗣️
Damn...
BARS
Definitely using this, thanks for sharing!
is it volumetric or oldschool flat texture?
It's a flat texture . You have to code a functionality of volumetric layer clouds 😊
In other words: set up a json for soft rain, other for mild rain, other for normal rain other for heavy rain, other for thunderstorm with the proper config schema and load whichever you want with a tween in between and sh*t's done.

Nice stuff. Would definitely be interesting to see you cover the terrain plugin too
Cool, thanks for sharing. Quite an impressive tool.

This is really cool
Can it make Tatooine?
Not out of the box 😂 but it's a good starting point for sure
I will wait for Godots graphics to catch up and join the crowd and NO I am not expecting Unreal.
🔴
damn using Windows oldschool cmd that's hardcore :))
First
Cool
Looks a bit dated compared with unreal engine
and there's THAT guy as well, lol 😂
They still want only woke developers for Godot?
You're not even a developer, tourist.
Booooo! Get better material
where do we go to get yelled at for not accepting ideologies ?
Your mum. Oh hang on, that's where we go to get 2-for-1 specials for dock workers.
Same place you went to get your talent.
Well aren't you a snowflake😊
where do we go to move on from superfluous internet drama?
where do we go to avoid stupid posts like yours?
Godot: 👎 Redot: 👍
Wokot is not worth it.
