I think this is the main cause of my grown son’s chronic pain. He has mold toxicity, tick-borne infections, had covid in December of last year, and although he’s being treated by the best doctors who are also functional medicine doctors, a chiropractor, is soon seeing a neurosurgeon, and a pain doctor, he screams in pain starting at 5 am every day. I KNOW it’s connected to what he ate the night before and his smoking. The example of the corn going into the blood stream and into the brain, causing inflammation, was spot on! This exact thing happened to him a few years ago. He ate corn, immediately threw up and started screaming about a sharp pain in his head. He was at my house, but lived with his father, so I didn’t know what happened until two years ago, when he got mold toxicity from his dad’s house. He’s been living with me since then, and I have a broken shoulder, Lyme infections, am on antibiotics and herbals, and since he had covid a year ago, he’s been in constant pain. We are both emotionally spent over this. It’s consuming both of our lives, and his father takes him to his appointments. I’m going to suggest he get the tests you are recommending! Thank you for this video!
Hello Dr. Jill. Love your channel and all the knowledge you provide here. With this patient having so many lab values that were not ideal I was surprised that K2 was shown to be in a high range. Then I thought about possible genetic mutations that might cause this result. I am curious if this gentleman may have mutations in his VKORC1 gene like I do. If this genetic mutation in vitamin K recycling causes less de-epoxidation of vit K2 and 3 to occur would the result be high vit K2 status as seen on this lab?

Very informative, thank you!
One of your most helpful guests! Much appreciated. Feel like I can do something on my own. SO great!
