I also read that the anxiety response isn't just because it's so debilitating but that the hernia can actually put pressure on the Vagus nerve, which explains A LOT. Thank you for this video!
Omg that neck pull looks crazy!!!!! But this is awesome!! Your the first doctor that talked about flight or flight response and abnormal anxiety for daily function!!!
I know im asking the wrong place but does anyone know a way to get back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot my account password. I would love any tips you can offer me.
Me too, but I try to avoid to eat quickly and I keep drinking first in the morning half cold and half hot water, and also at night before I go to sleep...
I have these issues as well. From what I've been discovering its many of our symptoms are caused by inflammation in this abdomen area. Thats why we have issues with anxiety, digestive and heart issues. Its coming from the stomach and its position.
There’s a world wide epidemic of this disease, makes me sick that our foods are so screwed up and the stress we carry created by the daily rat race! Arrrrrr!
I been dealing with LPR possibly from a hiatal hernia for the last 2 plus years . No one knows what to do but give you a PPI (which made me worse ) . I have only been able to find chiropractors that will help with your spine , neck and back for this . Do you need the front stomach adjustment ? and if thats all I can find would the back part still be beneficial ?
I had that big time twice. 1 time called rescue, 2nd time at 3am thought i was done for. The dr. Prescribed Prilosec.! Started correcting posture and takin digestive enzymes, been good for a year, if it happens again i am flying out to see you
I am very impressed! Bravo doctor!👏 I am also seeing a chiropractic care for my hiatal hernia and have had all the symptoms you have mentioned, but never had such a thorough body adjustment yet. I wonder if you do that every time.
@@leemathews7263 It hasn't been easy. The chiropractic care helped stabilize my stomach, so my diaphragm could heal. It took a long time, but it is finally happening. It took a lot of effort to take care of myself, taking good supplements, a special diet, certain exercises, and stress control, to name a few. I spent a lot of hours looking for information, reading a lot, and educating myself on how to get back to being healthy again. I can now, with certainty, state that if I were to seek allopathic medical care, I would have been in big trouble and possibly had one or two surgeries. Of course, I did visit my family physician and a specialist, but was pretty much told to just take pills and 'see if it will work for me.' What a bunch of BS. Today, after almost 2 years, I am pain-free with minimal acid reflux and inflammation and on the way to full recovery. Thank you very much for asking. 😊
FOR ME, PAIN IS A BIG NO NO AS I HAVE A VERY LOW PAIN TOLERANCE AND I WOULD NOT ALLOW SOMEONE TO PULL MY HEAD IN SUCH A WAY. ID BE TERRIFIED IT COULD DO SOME DAMAGE.
My mum is 66 and needs this done badly, she suffers so much and it upsets me seeing her suffer, I am trying to find a chiropractor in Australia Nsw that can do this for her, does anyone know of one in Nsw Australia? I would be forever great full. You are an amazing chiropractor.
The real cause of hiatal hernia is definitely not one thing but one of the biggest causes is digestive issues. Why you have digestive issues could also be many things like antibiotics as a kid or not being breast fed so you never got the good bacteria everyone else got. Basically your stomach gets to full of either gas or food or both and that pressure has to go somewhere or you will rip a hole in your gut so it goes into the space that's made for your lungs. Thats why lots of people find it hard to breath and in bad cases you can get strangulated and die, worst feeling in the world. Your stomach is most of the time blowing up with gas after you eat or you eat so much food because you have little acid which will make you always hungry. Having digestive problems along with a bad diet and lots of stress will reduce the power of your stomach to digest food and your lower pyloric sphincter wont open in time to reduce or keep the pressure out of the stomach, food will just sit and ferment causing gas and blowing it up into your lung area. Stress is the number one thing that will reduce your stomachs ability to digest food no matter if you have the strongest digestion in the world, you might not feel anything but you are digesting less nutrients under stress. Now this is one thing people might disagree because they love it so much.... Caffeine. Caffeine will put you into a state of stress and there is nothing you can do till its out of your system. Caffeine has been proven to directly affect the release of food into the small intestines, in some it will speed it up in others it might block it up for several hours do to inflammation or gastritis, sometimes i bet coffee helps some with hiatal just by getting rid of constipation. I Don't think there is a real cure, once you have stretched out that area and have another stomach in your lungs now and then along with your original one then the only thing you can really do besides surgery is to keep your stomach working right so it doesn't blow up and cause that. You get surgery without fixing the underlying problem you could have pain you never thought was possible, remember that pressure has to go somewhere. I don't know how chiropractic exactly works but I know after no matter what adjustments are done my stress level drops and my stomach works a lot better, this is the same with massages or just about anything that lowers stress. One herb that will release the pyloric sphincter then release the hiatal hernia is Holy Basil because it directly removes the stress chemicals in your blood stream. That is the best herb in the world for when my stomach decides to hide in my lungs.
Mine I'm suffering hiatal hernia, acid reflux and Gerd for 4 years, here in Philippines doesn't know the technique of chiropractic treatment. I'm taking ppi and antacids but not effective to me. Hoping you'll be branch here soon.
3/16/2024 - I've been having horrible symptoms of what I believe might be a hiatal hernia. I have trouble breathing, taking deep breaths - raspy wheezing at times. I'm getting spasms under my right rib and into the sternum intermittently. I can barely eat anything without feeling bunched up and sick. At times when I eat I feel like I have to burp but have to work hard to get any gas up. When I've eaten watery-type fruits like grapes or melon I can burp pretty good and it brings relief from the pressure. I've even tapped repeated with both hands from my right side across my left and had gas come up that brought some relief. It feels like someone is squeezing my insides at times. I suspect that it could be a pinched nerve in the thoracic region because I have a disc that bothers me right between the shoulder blades. It also causes heaviness in the chest like a heart attack. A local Chiropractor I emailed wrote back and told me he could work the spine that controls the nerves in that region. All I know is I need relief because it's horrible. I also do suffer from atrial fibrillation that has been acting up as of late.
I don’t know if I should get the surgery. The last two chiropractic doctors I seen couldn’t treat me. They said change my diet. 😟 I’m still looking for a chiropractor.
I have a 5cm sliding hiatas hernia I have right scaplular spine/rib aches and basicly feel light absalute shite had it For 20yrs doctor says shoulder /back aches isn't caused by hernia how can I find out if it is related.
Did you watch the video? The actual correction is coming from pulling the stomach back down from where it's bulging through the hiatus. I actually had a chiropractor correct this issue for me years ago when I was pregnant. The symptoms had been so severe that I ended up in the hospital because. I really didn't know anything about a hiatal hernia at the time and had casually mentioned during my regular adjustment check up the new stomach distress and reflux that I'd been experiencing for a couple weeks at that point. He did some things that involved pushing on my stomach that didn't feel great and then explained to me afterwards what the issue had been. Again, I knew nothing of the condition, but he basically shrugged it off and said it's easy to correct so I didn't waste much energy worrying about it. I went to bed that night and, for the first time in many days, I didn't wake up in terrible pain and stomach distress. The sudden disappearance of what had previously been undeniable and extreme symptoms was definitely proof enough for me. My 16 year old recently had the same difficulties. I had pretty much put this memory of my brief experience with a hiatal hernia out of my mind and simply brought my son to the doctor when he started experiencing severe reflux. Over the past 6 months we've tried tons of otc treatments, high doses of prilosec, apple cider vinegar, digestive supplements, and HCL supplements. Through all this, he STILL woke up pretty much daily with bad reflux and the dentist told us a couple weeks ago that the acid was damaging his teeth and he needs to see a specialist. In the meantime, had also been complaining about some back pain, so I scheduled him a visit with my chiropractor. During the exam, I remembered my previous experience with the hernia and asked if that might be the problem. He examined my son and said he was sure that it was and then worked his magic. It has now been 4 days since his visit and he hadn't had any reflux since that day. He doesn't feel 100% better yet since the long-term, severe reflux has damaged his surrounding tissues, but not waking up nauseated and in terrible pain has been a tremendous relief for him. I'm really hoping this has done the trick!
@@krhutchison77 it feels terrible,it sucks ...but most of it has to do.also with bad posture....I have it so bad that , it feels like its my heart when i feel the palpitation on my chest...till i burp i feel the relief..
