    I have a set of those , and a set of mile marker ones . . Both sets were late 90`s early 2000. I am happy with both sets . The warn hubs turned 38 inch super swampers , in a lot of mud boggs with no issues . I love the metal 3/4 turn hubs . I think you made a good choice . I think synthetic gear lube is more consistent . And having the rear redone with all new stuff i believe will work out well , just bolt it back in and go ,and everything is new again .

    • @yourbeekeeper
      @yourbeekeeper  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks T. Yeah, I don't want any issues. At least I know the existing rear axle housing is straight and good, never quite know what you are getting from a yard.

    Glad to see you more upbeat on the suburban. You seemed pretty down when it failed.

      I have had that truck since 1995 , put around 200,000 miles on it and this is the first time I have ever had to walk away from it.... I was a little bummed out.

    I learned real quick when I started keeping chickens, that crows were my best friend when it comes to keeping the hawks away from my birds. Haha, have no mercy on that checkbook! We dont work for free.

    Alright! The old burb is going to be back in action before we know it. I hate to see a nice old truck like that sit, broken down. Even if those hubs are Chinese, they will probably stand up to the burb, its a bummer, but they'll do.

    Great hubs I was wondering about the burb and if the snow melted away enough to pull it out of the woods yet.

    • @yourbeekeeper
      @yourbeekeeper  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Scott, yeah the snow is gone, but the mud still remains...just have to keep everything on the groomed road and it should be good.

    Nice. Warn has been around for a long time. I have I believe originals on my 50s Jeep. I think I would be willing to pay $50 more for them if they were made in the US or Canada. Certainly not worth double and shouldn't cost double to be made here. I am not against Chinese products. Just stuff made here can have better QC. Looking forward to the Suburban remodel.

    • @yourbeekeeper
      @yourbeekeeper  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      For some reason I thought they were made in the U.S.....I thought wrong.

    Steve, are you filming the kitchen remoldel? I love your remodel work. I like that your thorough.

    • @yourbeekeeper
      @yourbeekeeper  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Liam, I didn't film any of the remodels. I had two going on at the same time and it is just not easy to get video and have it make sense.

    I hit the dial part of mine on a rock and it broke the outside chrome part behind the dial. Looks like cheap pot metal. Warn said it wasn't covered under warranty, nor could they get me a replacement part. Hope you have better luck than I did.

    Those are nice, make that Money Brotha, an i think building it up to suit yu is best anyway make it the way you need it to perform

    • @yourbeekeeper
      @yourbeekeeper  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep... all new stuff in the rear axle, exactly how i want is worth a few extra bucks. I don't like breaking down.

    the INT at the end of jeep I think is for International..my Scout II uses them

    • @yourbeekeeper
      @yourbeekeeper  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep... that's what the INT means...for some reason my brain didn't process that when the camera was rolling.

    • @Graveltrucking
      @Graveltrucking 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I guess now that you have the 24 valve pickup the 12 valve Cummins swap isn't going to happen either lol.

    • @yourbeekeeper
      @yourbeekeeper  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have not ruled that swap out. I am not going to tear down a perfectly good running truck until I have the time to devote to the swap. I can't have that truck in pieces for an extended period of time. Also, I have two kids in universities and tuition is more important.
