I won tickets on the local radio station to see Rad on its debut night I think in Linthicum, Maryland. My dad took me and we saw the movie and it was so funny because there was a part in the movie that then all the teenagers started screaming. “Cleanup Cru” every time Bill showed on screen. The highlight, though it was after the movie. Everybody went to some bike shop in Rockville Maryland to see the Haro bike team freestyle demo. It was pretty mind blowing saying all those guys in peak form.

Now as an adult I have it on dvd, so can watch it whenever I want ❤ According to me and now my background, the best movie ever made or ever will be made.

I was 18 when Rad came out and had already been balls deep into freestyle and racing for quite awhile. So when this movie came out it was like going to Mecca to see it!!! My heroes were Martin, Eddie, R.L. Osborne, Woody Itson, Mike Dominguez and Ron Wilkerson. So seeing any of them in a movie was heaven to me!!!
Awesome video. I felt like I was reliving my youth. I spent countless hours on my bike perfecting moves. My neighbors thought I was nuts when I built a 8' quarter pipe in my backyard. Such great times!

Just wanted to let everyone know Rad is now available for purchase on Blu ray now on Amazon. I was very pleased with the quality of the movie. It is still to this day one of my favorite movies
Here is something that is bit of little know fact about Rad - Geoffery Edwards and Sam Bernard The Writters for Rad, while Rad was being Filmed and before Shown in Theaters began writing down ideas for a Possible Rad 2 Movie. But was only ideas and never really took off due box office bomb.
I loved the rad movie as a kid!!! I broke so many bike frames ramping and jumping My bikes that my parents wouldn't get me another one. I worked my butt off and saved and bought my 1st GT. It was my favorite bike next to my all original Schwinn Pea Picker.
I loved BMW when I first saw it in a rental sweet shop I was addicted to watching it. I go out and try do moves. When put clips of the film I feel that kid again thank you from Charlie

Ok RAD part 2 . Here we see cru , he's by. Himself having breakfast. He's looking at the news paper and sees an ad in the paper . WINNNNNNN A FREE BMX BIKE . Cru look at this , we see and hear a giggle from him . We than hear his son say dad can you come out here and help me . Cru goes outside with the mini van in the driveway . Cru goes into the garage and his son say I need some help with the chain on my bike . As we see this the camera captures posters all over the garage and his son has posted along with his dad's biker bmx days and the big event flyers . After cru helps his son he really opens his eyes to what's around him and the life his son is living , he can't help but know his son is reliving crus life , crus is happy with what he sees , he supports his son 💯 percent . Ok so now we enter the next day as cru is washing the family vehicle , cru hears his son being hot headed and the kids only 15 . His son is telling his friend , that taylor thinks he knows everything on a bike and thinks he's the fastest . Cru thinks to himself , I know that last name , cru has a serious look and now he knows his son is enemies with the kid of his own enemy . ................... Would be awesome seeing a part 2 . Let's bring back as many of the original actors to play some part in the new movie . 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Great video and I loved bmx bikes well movies as I have a briddle bone disease so I break my bones easy and often so I could never do very much even today but I would've loved to but movies helped me through my handicap and RAd was my favorite and I remember watching this daily and I finally ruined my vhs and this never had a release until recently and I couldn't afford it as things have been bad the last few years but I have great memories and I would watch kids ride and compete and I hope I can get a copy of the movie at some point? Great video.
