    I remember watching this move as a kid and loving every bit of it, still do. As soon as the movie was over I'd run outside, grab my bike and try copy all of the tricks from the intro. The 80's were a good time to be a kid.

      It was the best time to be a kid and sadly, I took it for granted as a kid. We looked so forward to the future, and now that it's here, all I wanna do is go back. I swear I'd appreciate everything so much more and take everything in if we could go back and do it over. I try to explain the 80s to the younger generation and I'm met with blank stares and comments like "so what was there to do without internet??" And my answer was "live.......we lived, we hung out with each other, talked in person, played in the street, fell off bikes, skateboards, and trampolines and wiped ourselves off and got back on. We got to have fun before everything offended everyone and we took everything off TV or off store shelves. We got in trouble, got in fights, and we apologized or shook hands the next day and went back to life. We made a day out of hanging out in malls with 5 dollars in quarters. We went EVERYWHERE on bikes."

      @@crimsontide1980 Sadly,I seriously think that the majority of the youth today would go insane if they were to go back aways in time,even if it was going back to the Cool 1980's. They'd Very quickly be getting smart-phone withdrawals,reminiscent to a hard-core junkie in dire need of a fix. 🤔

      @@robertdecker146 I have no doubt at all. Kids these days can't go more than a couple hours without their phone/tablet/gaming console etc. They have to constantly be "plugged in". I'm very lucky and fortunate to have grown up in a generation before internet and smart phones. I'm sure if we had all that stuff when I was a kid I probably would have been into that stuff too. Glad it wasn't around to distract me. Don't get me wrong, we had Nintendo, we had movies, we had games, but the kids I hung with, we were too busy playing baseball, football, tag, riding bikes, raising hell, etc. to spend much time playing video games. We preferred to be outside, we weren't worried about heat, cold, seasonal allergies etc. Maybe why I rarely get sick......I was always exposed to the elements so my body naturally learned to fight off most illnesses. Sure, I get sick now and then, but it's rare. Most these kids are outside for 10 minutes and complain about their eyes watering or the sun's too bright, blah blah blah. I'm sure I sound like the old grumpy guy, or a "boomer" as so many people are mislabeled by definition, but not too many people can argue with that statement. It makes me smile when I see a group of kids riding their bikes or playing ball outside, that's how it used to be and that's how some kids are regardless of all the distractions going on

    Before the internet, it was just you, your buddies, and endless hours a day doing tricks during the 1980’s. It was the best! Everybody got along, as it was all about the riding. They were simpler times, and they were radical. Perhaps we can introduce it to the next generation. It’s just extremely hard to find these bikes, and Redline wants over a grand to buy just the frame and fork. I should have kept the old RL 20. Get out and ride...

      Bro I wanted a chrome CW Sooooo bad as a kid in the late 80s. I'd pay decent money for a nice one to this very day. Purple or orange mags and it's mine.

    I remember when we saw Eddie Fiola and Martin Aparijo in the movie and this clip also, being 7th grade fanboys in 1986. The ending credit scene is just as good.

      @@SINCITYJ You've heard about the current legal woes of Lori Loughlin, have you? You don't think that's holding up a Blu-Ray release, do you? Also, does her current situation ruin this movie and her performance in it for you?

    • @SINCITYJ
      @SINCITYJ 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@VahanNisanian Yes. She was trying to supposedly buy her kids through school. Probably not a deciding factor in an official DVD or Blu Ray release. Sadly I feel Rad was never quite recognized by the big production companies which is sad because it's 80s nostalgia to many of us. Honestly it would be one of the cheaper movies for them to remaster. C'mon already. Let's get a Blu Ray release please! Stay safe and stay well my friend 👍

    Hello guys, I'm a Brazilian fan. This movie was very important for me and my friends in our teens, but here I can't seem to find it disappeared from any file, by chance someone would have a copy to show me, we ran BMX on this one. time was inspiration for all of us, today at 46 I still miss reliving this Cru Jones adventure, it’s a dream to do a tribute here I’m also sure that new generations will be motivated by the sport and have another reason to escape from drugs and crime due, if someone can contribute a copy my parents would appreciate it and i will be very happy.
