My best guess is that this is an informational marker… telling you, “This is a hard wood”.

    • @lt1nut

I dunno, that raccoon was essentially traded for what was probably a week's worth of groceries. (I'm not looking to argue, just to put it into perspective. I wouldn't say that my dad was terrible if he had done that, and he grew up on the south side of Chicago.)

He is lucky an your lucky about 2 months back I was climbing a dead maple with a big church missing on the back side then there was a hole that went up a 55 ft or so well I set a line an srt up just cause it was good size and trying to spike up would of just ben a pain anyway I go to take of a good size leader of an when I cut in my gunner cut I see fur an then a huge coon come out a whole a few ft above me I clipped his front arm pretty good but he wasn't pour blood out atleast. But now I for the xoo. On one side of the tree right across from me he stayed for a min or 2 but it seemed like forever I thought he was goin to attack so I just stood there with my hand on the pull cord waiting omg finally he headed down them fell the last 10 ft I felt terrible about getting him idk if he made it or not he had a good size gash but coons are tuff. Anyway that's my coon story

Old lady in bed, car crashes thru her front yard tree, thru her front wall and lands on top of her. The oil pan was 1" off her nose. Couldn't get much closer. That trash panda probably felt the same way.
