Thanks for this comparison video Heidi, very informative as always. I don’t think the makers of Olaplex will ever want to willing give out the ingredients/formulas for their amazing hair products, why would they, no other product can compare to or outdo Olaplex at the moment. As you said Fibreplex is close but it just doesn’t give the same results as Olaplex. Comparing both sides of your hair after the treatments there didn’t seem to be much difference visually between the two sides but you obviously could feel the difference. Thanks again gorgeous xx

Creo que eso seria lo óptimo! Pero x lo que me dijo un técnico de Olaplex Argentina es siempre la misma fórmula en distintas concentraciones. De manera que el 1 el 2 y el 3 son exactamente lo mismo. Por eso hice así la prueba! Beso 💋

I'm so very unbearably late to this video , but I use Olaplex products all the time and fiberplex just recently. Olaplex definitely stops alot of damage when you've bleached or dyed your hair.....it's a must have! Fiberplex did stop some damage, but it felt weighty and did not rinse out well for me personally.🤷🏻♀️

I think considering the legal battle Olaplex won against L’Oreal/Smartbond, that one probably is/was... but there’s a patent so... they have grounds to stop any close dupes in court for a few years. My wallet is in 🔥 too with Treatment Tuesdays! 😂
Check out Gliss new product series called fiber therapy. I believe it is a budget version of fibreplex. Gliss is also a schwartzkopf company. concentrations of active indredients are probably lower, but I swear my hair feels a lot stronger after using the hair mask just once!

I've notice something with Olaplex... I have wavy hair and whenever I wash out the treatment some waves are really defined.

Yeah I think that Swarzkopf owns brand Syoss (drugstor brand) and Syoss had a line called Salonplex-shampoo, conditioner, mask,leave in and a salonplex "shot" that you put in your hair color.And some styling products so...yeah I tried a few things but the "shot" is great.Mask was ok.Lovely video thank you

I don't have a big budget for my hair... but dying it and cutting it myself at home my hair looks better than ever. I'm going to try Olaplex for sure! I am somehow a bit of a Rapunzel and so don't want to cut my hair... 😭

1 and 2 are identical, step 3 is not. Smartbond 3 has mineral oil and parafinum. Not that nice
Smartbond is a preventative product which uses Maleic acid to prevent damage during chemical treatments in Steps 1 and 2 as is Olaplex. Olaplex also uses Maleic acid but is the #3 is the only product that can repair hair after the damage has been done It was L'oreal that wanted to buy Olaplex but the deal fell through

I bought it because the shop owner told me it's the same as OlaPlex... Then I found out about the patented formula and they said they don't do returns. I was just wondering whether I should still buy Olaplex to protect my hair during relaxers or whether I'll be better off just using up my KeraBond.

I used Olaplex and i used Fiberplex 3 , Fiberplex did better for my hair, no doubt !!!!! I used them, not in the same time and about 2 months…Olaplex did nothing, Fiberplex was incredible good….so, Swartzkopf Fiberplex 1 and 3 is half price and way better…you can not make an impression in only one time use !!!

Yo soy estilista desde hace 19 años y les digo Olaplex es el único .ningun plex se compara los he probado de diferentes líneas y nada .siempre termino botándolos y comprando el Olaplex y a la final gasto más.
Justo hace dos semanas el un hair salon me preguntaron que que shampoo O tratamiento uso y les dije olaplex me dijeron que olaplex builds up 🙄 jajaja y me dijeron que use fiberplex lo cual me pareció raro por supuesto no compré fiberplex porque ya tenía olaplex entonces gracias a tus vídeo se que si funciona y porque los he estado usando me encanta las comparaciones también. Hi Heidi, after using olaplex nr 3 one is supose to wash with shampoo the hair, why this this one You just rinsed it? No critizing, just don't wanna mess it up when I do it cause really it is quite expensive. Btw love all your videos. I learn so much always!

Have you heard of BOLD UNIO Bold Plex No3 Bond Repair Hair Protein Treatment Mask ? It looked like it had a higher rating than Olaplex by a lot of reviewers. It is 200mls for 24USD and Olaplex is 28USD with 100 mls. I see one review on youtube and she has very short fine hair it seems.

Woaw......I was really surprise when I saw the video about hair treatment on Thursday. I wanted to make a small suggestion concerning frizz control- Loreal Stylista, the Sleek Serum. Up to 24h frizz control- and 230 C heat protection. It comes into a round bottle with a bomp😍😍😍😍😍. A bit different from Elseve oil ( or Elvive in your country). This is specially for Frizz control and heat protection

So, Schwartzkopf makes a olaplex dupe = fibreplex. Then Gliss, which is a drugstore schwartzkopf brand releases a new product series called fiber therapy, claiming to have "re-bonding" technology. So here am I wondering, is Gliss fiber therapy a budget version of schwartzkopf fibreplex? I bought the hairmask, and I swear the my hair felt a lot stronger after using it!

@@heidiguttenberg I am not saying that this is an exact dupe, just that it is a product that may provide some of the same benefits, and may use the same technology as fibreplex, which I am aware you do not find to be an exact dupe. But for those looking for a budget option, this could be a possibility. I am at least happy with the gliss product 🤷♀️

Oh yeah L’Oréal is shady. Whenever a lot of money is involved integrity goes out the door perhaps ones soul. That being said I wouldn’t mind a cheaper alternative. Especially with your thick long hair you must use the whole bottle like my daughter. 😖

This is irrelevant. It's not meant to be used alone. It's the second part of a two step process to be used by a salon professional. Number 3 is the stand alone at home treatment to be used by the client to maintain the strengthing process of the bonds.
I used them both in the salon and I prefer Fibreplex over Olaplex 🤷 I couldn't get Fibreplex at one point and sold olaplex to a client.. Who hesitantly tried it. She returned it and said she liked Fibreplex better and would just wait for it to be in stock.
