Bungie not only gave Cooper this great experience, but helped him push through his struggle in the hospital. A wish like this would make the ghost of Taranis proud.
Can't even get my dad to call me back with nice intentions, much less play destiny... props to the dad for doing whatever he can to bond with his child
For all the crap, for all the hate and drama over nerfs, seasons, and all, gotta give Bungie credit. When it comes to charity, Bungie is very giving and loving.

can we stop crying about bungie for like just one second, we get it, bungie isn't perfect and needs some improvements, but can we just appreciate what they did for cooper.
That is the most wholesome thing I’ve seen, for cooper I will buy the ghost and rock it in remembrance of the beautiful thing Bungie has done for him, may the light provide
A year ago a friend died of leukemia. They played Destiny on occasion among other games, and always brought a smile on people's faces. A Guardian might die. Such is life - eventually everything ends, death is the natural conclusion. But their Light never dies. It persists. Like a star guiding the way in a dark night. Like a reminder that no matter how grim things look, life has things to offer to everyone. Like a memory of fond times. Let the light of those who fell, live on inside of us through their wisdom and the memories they left behind. And let the Light of those who survived - Cooper's Light among them - be the inspiration, to fight and never give up until the bitter end.
This I love. Bungie shows they care here, and those depressing people who make arguements in the comments...they don't matter. What matters here is what Cooper showed us today: the strength to push forward. To continue onto the next challenge of our journey, and to ensure that none are left without some type of help. So yeah, people may comment saying "oh bungie with the layoffs", or "something with Pete Parsons", no. It doesn't. Matter. What matters is truly moving on, and we can do that with the inspiration from Cooper here. I thank any guardian who reads this, and I'll see you all Starside.
My husband has been fighting Brain cancer since 2015 we where running around the dreadnought and had a grandmaul seizure. Turns out it was the result of a rare from of brain cancer known as Anaplastic astrocytoma. He dosnt play as much as he used to as thingsvare getting worse. But destiny has been there the whole time. Glad to see y'all doing for other out there
I’m so happy u bested cancer!! My father was diagnosed with terminal cancer. On the nights i stayed with him I played forges to get some relieve. When he died at night a week later I got home en decided to try my luck at Riven. That night I got 1k voices. Destiny and 1k voices always reminds me of my dad. One day i will see you starside dad and eyes up guardians ❤

Eyes up guardian, this is Cooper a guardian of incredible fortitude and strength, no matter what the universe has thrown at him he as rose to the occasion and never quit. He is an inspiration to us all, a lesson that even when it seems the end is on upon us, and that there is no way out. Plant you feet ready your weapon, and fight with all you have. The only way a guardians fail is if they give up.
Would be awesome to train an LLM on Cooper for his Ghost. Then train the Ghost with the game content and objectives so that you could literally talk to the Ghost in game as you navigate the Destiny universe. Optionally learn more about Cooper in his own voice and cherished memories.
And we actualy did it with Saga 1’s big bad himself. We made the Witness remember what Fear is, the same way how Ghaul reminded ous what fear is back in Vanilla Destiny 2

Great respect to Grant, I have had cancer twice and have been through some very harsh treatments that nearly killed me. at one of the cancer I was asked to choose from 5 different treatments. hmm.... The best one I said Calus, how do you choose? Nevertheless, anyone who manages to survive the sometime very very tough treatments have all my respect. Keep going Grant. Ps. I'm an old (60) Destiny veteran from the beginning.
That's awesome! Really great thing to do for someone who went through hell and back!... Also, nice little hint drop with that "using tools available in the next installments" line! 😆
