Drew Brees understands what a big impact he can have on someone else's life, and takes it seriously. Knowing that spending just a few hours with someone can be life changing for them.
Drew has many other things he could be doing, yet, he CHOSE to spend time with Devan and his family.
Parents, this is the kind of player you want your kids to emulate. Not the loud mouthed, money flashing, in your face kind of players.
Drew Brees, a man of such humility. Never arrogant or brash. Just thankful, and humble.
Drew really is a class act. It will be a great day for football when the Hall comes calling on #9.

As a Colt's fan, I remember how sore I was seeing Bree's rip through my team in the Super Bowl, but man, what a complete class act. This man is inspiring and is truly a great representative to both Make a Wish and the Saints, what a great human being.

I watch these and I just can't wait till next month when I'm meeting the Saints. I watched this and this is so close to me besides the fact I have pulmonary atresia and I'm 16. The Saints might not be the best this year but they've been my role model for years. After my father and stepfathers left me they've been all I had. CANT WAIT!!!

Watching these "My Wish" videos always brings joy to my heart each time I watch them. By watching them, I realize how great God is and how he's impacted the lives of others. These kids are some of the strongest and selfless people you'll ever see or hear about.

I remember meeting Danny White when he was the quarterback at ASU, I was 8 or 9 years old at the time and can still remember that day, i know the feeling this child had when he met Drew Brees, he will remember it for the rest of his life.
This is my 4th time watching this. I just can’t get over the fact that Drew Brees is this nice. He is such a great guy!

I've read Drew's autobiography, and its one of my favorite books. The man is a class act, through and through.
Drew is a great person that came from a friendly college, and that college is Purdue. I have been on their campus to go to a football game. Everyone there at Purdue is so kind!

What a heart-wrenching story - it would be the best story in the world if some day (soon!) doctors are able to devise a way to make Devan's heart whole, healthy and as indestructible as possible - and we can see him on the gridiron doing what he loves best.
This is a great organization. Lots of intersections. When I worked there I helped create a program called wish gatherings… and helped develop the concept of the wish makers ball… in central florida…
