For sure yes, there are only four sound levels when using the base and I think like ten when you use the app so you can find a nice middle ground level which is what I end up doing.
Yes I would for sure! You can always get it from Wal-Mart or Target maybe and then return it if they don't end up liking it. I ended up buying a separate plug-in nightlight that I use for my daughter behind her crib so that it adds ambient lighting all the time in the room because at its lowest setting the light seemed too dim for her and she wouldn't sleep well. That being said she's two so I don't really know if that's what's bothering her or just general sleep issues. You can also try the munchkin projector because it has like a scene that rotates on the ceiling that you can change out but the sound quality isn't as good and there are no phone controls it's all done on the base.
Question: How to you save the Sleep Stage settings. We feel like the Settle and Soothe setting have loud music on and we try to change it but it keeps going back to the old settings. Thanks
Yeah it's a little wonky to do for sure. I've found that you have to go into sleep settings and turn it on, then hit the back button just above it so that you return to the main menu of the app. Then go into the music that is currently playing and turn the volume down there. I usually just close the app entirely at that point, then turn sleep settings back on to see if it saved it. Sometimes I have to do it a few times. Hope this helps!
I realized afterward that it was too dark to be able to see it well on the camera. I had recorded it in the dark with just the light on and even with a nightlight the camera was just not picking it up so I took that part out.
Ahhh, yes, I know what you mean about the camera and seeing in the dark! The cameras are so good now, it doesn’t even look dark! Okay, thank you for the answer!😃
Thanks for your great review, I'll get this one for sure!!
Do you find the volume adjustments better from the app?

Would you recommend for a four and five your old? My kids are afraid of the dark and quiet. Trying to find something. This looks good.
I do wish the lights rotated on the ceiling though. But I do like that it at least pulsates.

would be good if you would of shown it in the dark. as that's when it will mostly be used. like a light buld review... haha
I thought you were going to show us how it lit up/star pulsed the ceiling? Great video, though. Good to know about the volumes.
