I feel like the role that could completely change Melissa's career would be her playing Annie Wilkes on a Misery remake, a more violent, R rated more in par with the book adaptation, she'd kill it, pun intended.
The original really is, it's one of my fav movies, but it's almost 20 years old, I think that just like It, it would benefit from a remake, a very graphic one, cause the book was way more intense than the film.

I think this film will really change the way Melissa McCarthy is perceived. Yes, she is already a fantastically entertaining actor, with her satirical skills being a prominent feature of her ability. But this really takes it to a whole other level. Very excited to watch this.

Josey Bojangles the academy sure thought she deserved it, and I think she will be nominated once again, she may not win. But I think she will get nominated. Plus the emotional scene she did in Identity Thief was great, I cried

She always brings a smile if not a chuckle to my lips. I don't think I have missed one of her movies. This one is on the top of my "most See" list. Looking forward to it.
