  • Welcome back to Unfiltered Stories! Today, our guest, Ashley Huffman, bravely opens up about her journey. Her tragic story begins with the painful betrayal by her own brothers, who took advantage of her innocence. Subsequently, she faced the trauma after getting pregnant by a man who violated her. Battling the aftermath of these experiences, Ashley faced the challenges of sobriety and felt like she had to sell her body to survive.
Despite the hardships she endured, Ashley has emerged as a resilient mother who has not only overcome adversity but has also shared her inspiring narrative through the publication of two books.

@@terryellis7692 totally understandable. I don't know if I could hold back if I ever found anyone hurting a child, especially sexually, but especially if it were my own kids, like I'd probably lose my sh*t. and at first they lie, saying he's 17, like that was suppose to be better??!! My step-daughter's biological mom was allowed her, at 12, to "date" a 16 year old boy. A few months after they started "dating" and she turned 13, he started having sex with her. Her mom knew about it shortly after it started happening. She was also letting them drink, smoke cigarettes and smoke pot. In fact, she would smoke with them.
Years later, Step-daughter asked her mom why she let her do that. Step-daughter was 20 when she asked her mom this and her mom replied "Well what was I suppose to do? If I had tried to stop you, you would have hated me!!". *facepalms* But then her mom is a narcissist who has Bipolar Disorder.

I feel so sorry for her..the one thing I don't understand is why she kept on having children.

You've been deeply traumatized. If you can afford it, get into traumatherapy to heal all of this. It is possible, you can be free and healed. ❤️❤️

Unbroken curses are real….they follow you’re kids and the generations that follow until someone breaks the curse. Only through Jesus Christ can someone break free. Fasting and prayer. She still hasn’t found her path just hopes Jesus comes to her life to break the chains and demons
