    Great little car for someone. I still drive my 2010 Camry LE now with 182,000 miles still drives great. You do have to watch the 2.4L engine they used from 07-09 because it did have an oil burning issue if poorly maintained, but this car looks in extremely good shape for the age. My 2010 has the face-lifted 2.5L and 6 speed auto which doesn’t have this issue.

      We are super picky when it comes to the cars we want on our lot. I don’t buy cars with notable problems bc then I can pass that problem to my customers and that’s not cool. Also the carfax. We try to buy 1 or 2 owner vehicle with no accidents. We just try our best, I don’t make any promises, and I shop shop shop everyday for the best cars.

    I bought a 2008 2.4L Camry LE for $4000 with 105,000. The body was dinged up but probably 2 oil changes later (I never procrastinate those as I’m usually very meticulous as I inspect my car every 2 weeks.) it began burning some oil. It has 121,000 and it can’t hold 4.5 quarts of oil for more than a month. Guess there was a reason why it was $4000 as other models usually sell for 6k-9k. TLDR: I got finessed with a car that needs oil like it needs gas.

    • @povnelson2019
      @povnelson2019  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Dam that sucks man. I have so many stories of buying cheap cars that aren’t worth fixing lol bc what happens is you spend money on a bad car, spend more money repairing it, then a month later the same problem or something a bit different happens. You send it back to the mechanic he tells No Warranty it’s something else, charges you again lol. Issue is fixed….. then the Transmission goes out lol. I hope that don’t happen to you fingers crossed 🤞

I have been doing a lot of research on Camry's and I haven't come to any conclusion to find what year of Camry is better that at least have a aux cable. I generally want to start with a good car that would last at least 5-8 years for my first car. I'll do some research on Honda cars, Should I look for Honda accord or some other Honda models

      Do not worry about the radio. It’s called a Bluetooth Fm Transmitter. It makes any and every car radio a Bluetooth radio so you can play you’re music. I bought mine at Walmart for 20$, 3 years ago it’s the best.

    Getting some work done on my 2008 LE 4cyl, love how these things drive, the steering is butter smooth, even better handling than my dads 2017 Camry LE. But something I’ve noticed, you don’t see many 2008 LE’s with a sunroof/moonroof and a lip spoiler, would that just mean many versions like that weren’t manufactured? Always feel mines stands out when I’m driving about lol.

      Yes 13.40 is normal. You’re car runs on a 12 Volt System. The alternator regulates that and put a little more to help run your radio,AC, and other accessories.

Instead, I would rather buy a 2008 Acura TL Type-S sedan or a 2017 Honda Odyssey Touring eight-passenger minivan. Another option for me is to buy a 2008 Nissan Quest 3.5 SE minivan or a 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander GT 4WD with the 3 L V6 engine and the six-speed automatic.
