To me, right now, the electric VDL Citea is unmatched, but the eCitaro is coming to my city next year and the only reason I don't think the diesel Citaro is better than the Citea is that it's not electric, so I have really high hopes for this one. I really hope the retarder kicks in gradually, I think I'd rather it just be built into the brake, but if it's gonna be a lever anyway I just wish it's not going to brake instantly the moment you let off the throttle. Heuliez Ex-Linium 18m does this excellently, for example.
The citea is a really great vehicle. It’s nice lighting inside for the passengers, and the driver has a great flexibility on the dashboard. Very practical!
while the ecitaro and intouro seem like very competent buses in their own right, I really do have to wonder what the design process for these were like. the intouro looks very outdated and the ecitaro is just ugly in my opinion.
They're twice the price of diesel models with 60% shorter range. Those things are economical suicide and only for rich societies that can easily waste a lot of money for environmental posing.
The eCitaro looks a very good city bus, both for passengers and driver.
It’s a great bus 🥰
Wonderful video, great job.
Thanks 🥰🥰
hey I also drive the e-citaro on omsi 2 bus simulator, very nice bus to drive, also very quiet and accelerates well
That’s great to hear 😁
I drive a 15 meter 2023 intouro almost every day. Awesome bus.
I’m glad to hear! New Intouro Hybrid is coming soon 🥰

Citea's are very good for the driver indeed. Constantly breaking down means more breaks for the driver.
@@IBo99608 The ones we have here are the most reliable buses we have, they never break down, I love 'em
Nice video.
Thanks a lot 🥰
First view and like 🎉
Congratulations for the nice work
Thanks for the first like! That’s great 🥰
I like the ECITARO but I despise the front. Dimler ruined the citaro Dna. I'm a citaro fan btw
Citarofans are always welcome

It's a design that’s sticks out. That's for sure

If you live in a city, is money well spent
True. Well. Government will often subsidize parts of these investments.
