I sent my $5 or whatever for this video and I threw in some stickers and a koolaid pack because I was a kid and it made sense at the time. Got the video in the mail with a note from tony saying thanks for the stickers and koolaid. That’s the kind of guy he is. 😎👍

Austin Wilson lost it at some point over the years. I didn’t have the foresight to see he would become even more of a legend than he already was.

Jason Dashney I had to show some gratitude. $5 for a skate tape just seemed like too good of a deal. Figured he gave out enough shwag over the years he could use some given back. What would really be nuts is if he drank it. Powdered drink in an envelope would not fly these days. 🛹

I still have a copy of Feasters. I sent $5 through an ad in Transworld and they mailed me a copy. I think I watched it a billion times. That's how it was done in the old days, kids!

There is no other Skateboard are in the world that compares to Tony hawk and his amazing personality. As a kid we would set for hours around a 19 inch TV trying to figure out tricks off this video growing up.
It’s amazing how Innovative and brave he is now if only some of the older skateboarders would catch on to what he’s doing and follow suit.

I started to skate in the 80s and I saw how skateboarding changed in the 90s, in just three years it went from being totally vert to totally street, many could not adapt to the change, the members of the brigade bones adapted to the change of a As a master, you could see Steve Caballero, Lance Mountain and Tony Hawk leave their comfort zone and make amazing street video parts without leaving their roots in the vert and pool.
They are the ones that inspire me to improve in all aspects of my life, you can be or do what you want in life, they are living proof.

I almost can't put it into words, but this video part is a perfect representation of the best of skateboarding to me. It's not overproduced, it wasn't filmed in 15 countries over 5 years between visits to the hospital for blown out knees and broken arms, it's just skateboarding with a rad punk soundtrack. Screw the flip trick arms race, forget the staircase counting, I just want this.

Holy shit, I never noticed that was actually a shove-it frontside rock; I always thought it was a sort of fakie pivot frontside rock thing. What the hell would you call that? That shove it rock is a pretty advanced trick for back then, it must have been like 1979 or something. It's cool to see him doing commentary on this part and not being overly critical of his limited street skills. I love this part because of the fact he was pushing himself to the limit of his ability in a style of skateboarding he wasn't as proficient in, and a lot of the stuff in it is really cool.
