- In NASCAR's 76 year history, there have been many numbers come and go. In this series, we tell the stories of each of those numbers.

Fun fact Darren "Mr" Dilley was my PE teacher from 3rd to 6th grade. It was pretty crazy getting to see him in a NASCAR race in person and yes i bought his t shirt. I cant believe i forgot to mention.

#43- Dennis Setzer and his Lance paint scheme is quite well known in the '97 season
#44- Have to mention Mike Harmon. he raced that number in the early 2000s and cheated death after his horrifying crash at Bristol in 2002. still in my opinions one of the most terrifying moments in NASCAR history

Some guys find their place and stick with it. Same with Crafton in trucks, and Allgaier in Xfinity.
