Well, despite this run being very, very good and skillful, Grant probably won't include mind-control in his challenge run. I am pretty sure about that.
@@tertozer3543 That is a log of units to render. Most of them are the same so they probably are batch rendered. Even then most game engines would struggle with it.
Stu style of editing and just going pure business slightly more is slightly better for me. It's just easier to appreciate how precise some moments can be, feels more tense that way as well. @@andrzejnadgirl2029 I think what Stu does is great for TH-cam, since they're doing straight recordings as opposed to doing edited VODs from Twitch streams. Sometimes those are nice, say if it's someone just doing a 20 minute summary of something that took them several days worth of 6 hour streams (I don't watch Twitch, I don't know how long streams tend to last) and they're highlighting the good bits and a few funny things that happened. When it comes to speedruns or similar challenges, I do like to watch the whole thing instead of just the good bits from a couple missions to demonstrate why it was a challenge. Your channel easily has some the best SC2 campaign content that exists. Would love to see a full "Destroy Everything" run of each campaign mission with your play style - my favorite missions to watch from your speedrunning series are those where you take this approach. Your clears of All In, Zero Hour, Sudden Strike, etc. are all absolutely impeccable.
I dunno if someone has done Destroy Everything on LotV, but that seems like a great idea, though I'm not sure how possible that would be (I guess Rakshir is the bottleneck). DaveyGunface and GGG haven't covered that yet (they only did WoL and HotS).
Dunno how possible The Crucible would be without Swarm Hosts if that's the case 😅 Normal no production on that mission was already crazy enough, what more Brutal with an extra handicap
@@amplesstratleholm7609 I did the crucible casual difficulty no production without locust from swarm hosts or the button. It was more difficult than all the previous missions brutal difficulty no production.
this video has got to be one of the most amazing display of ability I've ever seen! Very nice prep for the maps and the specific units/structures given at the start of every mission. Best regards from Costa Rica Stu!
very well done! I mean everything: micro, strategy, video content.I can't even imagine what tremendous efforts it took you to think of the best way to complete these challenge and how many attempts you did !WE NEED MORE OF THIS ON TH-cam
Great video I stumbled upon, such an eye-opener. At first I thought some missions, especially early ones would be somewhat impossible, but now I reconsidered. It's just some of not included would be little time-consuming, but after solving initial missions with meticulous strategy, later ones can be compensated with fire turrets, bunker turrets and mind control ✍🏿
I generally don't enjoy vids like this where there is no talking. Bit you adding context in a written form kinda was enough. What really did make it special is your play style and skill level. This kept me watching with your side notes. But rly impressive run your very skilled
This is just unbelievable. When i first time played WoL the last mission gave me so much pain on normal, that i even cant describe how Kerrigan humiliated my bunkers and battlecruisersю Since then i surely had seen a lot of tactics and good strategies, but your video made all my experience to be like a puke, like a joke. I thank you for the video.
When I first discovered your videos I greatly appreciated them for the high skill expression and lack of nauseating camera micro that made the footage unwatched. And I still do thanks for this content ❤❤
I can't imagine how many times you've studied this... I have many memories in SC games because I'm korean. Thanks you so much. Nice explanation, foreigners also watched it comfortably!!
Very nice. The remaining missions would've been trivial at this point (planetaries and hive mind emulators for the colonist story line, and Odin carry on Korhal), while not giving any further advantage, so I suppose I shan't mind you left them out.
Biggest problem would be the final protoss mission. I don't think photon cannons are enough, but I certainly do not possess the skill level to test it. With these rules, interceptors can't even be rebuilt... Probably impossible, but maybe some day a brave youtuber will prove me wrong :D
this is so nostalgic for me i was never very good at sc2 but it was my first pc game i played when i had a 200 dollar laptop that ran it at 20 fps, such good memories playing this campaign
Amazing gameplay. I passed Brutal a few times before but so much stress and so many hours. Lots of great techniques and resource management. Plus you speed run this.

I was pretty impressed with myself when I did a "don't build from barracks" run. My solution to The Outlaws was to drop 15 SCV's from 3 CC's on the tank to kill it, then keep pumping SCV's and storm their base when you're mined out. Turns out there was a simpler way to deal with the tank...
Wow, I did not think that was possible! Great job! I think however that at the second mission, 11:37 - you can probably do better if you target the ranged units. They keep stacking behind zerglings and do more and more damage.
You make it look so easy! But when I try any of your strats myself, I have no where near enough APM to keep up. Also, that final shot with all the Mutas was awesome!
really, really impressive 😁couldn't even do that on easy. things like landing a building on a siege tank to unsiege it are really clever. learned some tricks for my own playthrough
I've just completed WoL campaign. Supernova and All in had me really stressed . The command center+4 banshees was a very impressive strategy considering the carnage the protoss has on the base. Observer in the artifact base. Templar psionic storm. Phoenix, 1-2 carriers , and a bunch of cannons and ground units that can target air, stress🤯🤯 I did not know that the mind control does not consume supply. That means you could mass the enemy units making them yours with no supply needed. That is a little OP imo considering how difficult is All in for many players
