@@joshuakazhila9567 Why not get an Audi Rs4 or BMW M5 Comptetition?
Or if you want something more appropriate for people your age, you can get Porsche 911 turbo or Jaguar F-type.
If you come from a poor background, you can get something cheap like a Honda Civic type R or Audi Rs3. If you are REALLY poor, I guess you can settle for a cheap Hyundai I30-N or Golf R.

Speaking from experience who had a 1985 Mitsubishi Tredia and now has the Kwid old spec and going for the facelift model soon. All I can say is the Tredia that I had didn't have any safety features on board and a very very hard steering wheel and that car drink petrol like is nobody's business from that 55L tank

I think the big pulling point as far as sales is concerned is not only the price, but the fact that it has a touch screen and navigation, which very few vehicles, if any, have at this price point. It seems Renault has done their homework.

You are like the perfect 80's party or karaoke companion. Can't imagine what you're like with a few glasses of wine or the odd shooter behind you. In saying that, your videos would be much shorter, concise and to the point without all the singing. It was fun for the first few videos I watched. Now I'm just skipping over it (sorry no offence meant) once I get an idea of the quality of the sound system - yes believe it or not one does get an idea from one car to the next what the sound system is like in a way, assuming you always place your camera in the same position. Your opinion about the vehicles that you drive is quite honest and fair. So from this review I take home that it's an amazing value-for-money car that uses "fokkol" fuel, but it has no power and you hated your time with it. Besides the power I still don't know what else you hated about your week with it. I know it's your vlogging style but sing a bit less and tell us...just saying. :))))) Rubber necking - Agree 100%

    Hi there Juliet.
What I like about the Kwid:
    1. New looks
    2. Fuel Economy
    3. Boot Space is actually big enough
    4. Price to fill the car
    5. Specs sheet
    What ticks me off:
    1. The wind controls the car
    2. Power and torque
    3. The boom booms owning a Kwid has literally half the fuel tank size of a Ford Focus or Opel Astra. Okay, my car takes 40Ltrs, 28Ltrs for the Kwid. That makes for a good argument.
Well, as a beginners car, yes for the power output and speed. Hell to the no for the size of the car, because first learn to get comfortable on the road with something larger, no matter all the safety features it now has. A new banggat driver will most probably pull on the steering wheel and end up hurting themselves more in the process. The car does turn into a jelly capsule or foam capsule to protect them.
Then again 2 friends drive the Kwid, and both of them are driving for decades. The 1 she has taken her car to Pretoria from Cape Town and back, and says it's a better buy then the Datsun Go which she also went to look at. Her daughter now says the car is hers when she gets her license in 4 years, as the car is cute, and fits her cute personality and looks.
Wait, what did I snap at a guy for last week. He went all nasty at a sales assistant or is it a shop assistant when she answered me. I asked her, "Do you know the specifications on the cellphone?" Her answer was honest like your reviews which I like, "Unfortunately I don't know." Man that wasn't even part of the conversation starts shouting at her because she doesn't know, and what she is her role in the shop if she knows nothing. My loud response, "What, do you want her to lie to you and tell you things she is uncertain about. Just like me, if I do not know what is happening totally in a department, I'll recommend you ask the persons working there. Because my knowledge isn't just in one field, but numerous fields. But if I don't know, why the hell would I bullshit you about, rather tell someone you don't know, and they'll get you someone to help you. Then be upset because they either sitting with outdated information or no information pertaining to your question. (Calmer and sweet voice) Thank you for your assistance, but before I get angry at an idiot that doesn't know everything in the work he does, but will bullshit you with information, I'd rather go look online and order the phone as you guys and gals don't have in stock."
It irks me even more on my birthday when some oldish man still thinks women are inferior to them. In my defense I look like a child, even if I just turned 40, and I don't know how not to stand up for someone.
Free advice can be for old farts that are sexist, how not to act. But then again, they wouldn't be listening to you either, because their TH-cam would be on silence as they look at you, because we shouldn't know anything about cars.

    • @micheleheynes4298
      @micheleheynes4298 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just rewatched this.
On the rubber necking. Okay because of the cars in front of me gawking at accident and almost causing another accident. I've seen what is happening, and was scanning to see if my colleges does need assistance in the matter. Not that I carry a reflector jacket in the car, stating Police, but I always have my appointment certificate on me. I do slow down for an accident, but only to the point where it is safe for me to pass without causing another accident. And as I said, only stop when assistance is needed.
With a fender bender where the vehicles can still drive, pull to the side, get each others details, and go to the police station to report the accident to the police station that does the area within 24 hours. The forms can be completed by the driver. What you'll need for the AR (Accident Report), there is a register too which the police member must complete to give the accident number, which is the Number of accidents reported for the month/Month/Year.
      1. Driver's license, as that long as number on it indicating the card number is needed, and your ID number.
      2. Do take a picture of your license disc. Once again that long as number on the top is needed, your cars registration plate number, and the expiry date.
      3. Where the damages are on the vehicles.
      4. Date and time of the accident.
      5. Where, precisely it happened, and the direction you were traveling. Check on your phones GPS to check the direction.
      6. With your details, obviously ID number, residential address, contact number, Surname, Initials are essential, but because your driver's license doesn't have your name on it, names are not essential on the form.
      7. A correct location of the accident is going to help with the sketch of that needs to go on the form. And do remember if the road was wet, misty, when at night if there was street lights, any street signs, traffic light/signs/traffic or police giving directions.
      8. Description of the accident. If you feel that the driver A gave the wrong details of the accident. Put in description as per Driver A and Driver B, but if both parties explain the same thing, then stick to one explanation.
      9. Seatbelt and alcohol question will be asked, oh and yes, if the driver of either vehicle was drunk don't leave the scene, for a drunken driving case to be opened and all the information to be added onto the AR.
      10. Injuries/Deaths/None
      11. Passengers: ID Number, Initial and surname, address, contact number, kind of injuries (None, light injuries (superficial - bruises and scratches), severe injuries (taken to hospital and stayed there or any broken bones), fatal/death (obviously there will be a police vehicle on the scene to open a Culpable Homicide Docket.)
Nb. If a police vehicle or traffic vehicle stopped next to you, let them take all the details as this is something they should know how to complete. If it's a police vehicle and they inform you that they called the vehicle of the area, they might just not know where the police station is located of that area. Only human and doesn't mean you work for a company you should know where all the branches are, in this case Police Stations.
      Form structure:
Form has an A and B, don't worry if it is more then two vehicles, more forms can be added and the other forms A and B will be changed to C and D or the the amount of letters required for the vehicles.
Page one: Date and time, Scene, Drivers details, seatbelts and liquor, and vehicles involved details
Page two: Road conditions, type of road used, sketch, description, type of accident.
      Page three: Deaths
Page four: Passengers and the signature at the bottom indicating the time the report was taken.
Now be observant, because I almost lost my life on a road, while people were looking at the secondary accident that occurred because they were looking at the deceased on the road. All I can say is, the safest place for me was 50m away on an open field because of Rubber Necking/Nosy Parkers/Bus Mense/The Driving Aunty Stienies, just because you want to tell a story of the accident you just saw.

As a young person myself, I really do like the Kwid.
    1. I like the looks, it doesn't look as cheap as what it actually is especially the Climber version
    2. I like the features it has, Bluetooth, phone connectivity, aircon, park distance control are definitely features that will be appreciated.
    3. The very low running costs are also a bonus
    4. The Kwid is from a brand that has a long (questionable) history and has vehicles across the globe unlike the Mahindra and BAIC.
My issue however with the Kwid is safety, yes it has the safety features but the structure is still weak. Also, from reading owner reviews the quality of the car is questionable (people have had aircon issues and the breaks apparently are very loud)
I guess I'd wait to see if the Suzuki S-Presso is any better and if not I'd buy a secondhand Swift or Peugeot 108✌

    • @angrysocialjusticewarrior
      @angrysocialjusticewarrior 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Yes, you are correct about safety. I always ask my self why car journalists always carry on and on about a car's pre collision warnings and emergency stop and bluh bluh bluh. None of those things matter if the car folds like cardboard when colliding with a pizza scooter.
If you want safety, go for a Polo vivo. Polo vivo has good safety for the amount it costs. But the downside of the vivo is that only registered gun owners are allowed to own it.
Get a used Toyota quest. or if you are really tight on cash, get a used datsun.

    • @Heinrichrhode1997
      @Heinrichrhode1997 3 ปีที่แล้ว

In South Africa from Dynamique and Climber has all round electric windows and electric outside adjustable mirrors as standard, only the entry-level Expression/RXL has front electric windows and manually operated mirrors. I know in India you do get the RXT version which doesn't have the passenger airbag nor rear electric windows and RXT(O) is the one with passenger airbag and maybe all round electric windows
