I'm definitely getting some fresh fruit to try these tonight! I think it would be great if you do a video on adapting a couple of classic cocktails into an icecream recipe! I've tried doing a couple with liquid nytrogen and have enjoyed it a lot, but certainly would be awesome to have a video with your adaptations since you have a great sense of taste and knowledge. Obviously could be a recipe that could be made with a regular ice cream maker. Hope you give it a thought. Cheers! And have a great weekend.

For all my midwesterners out there: the strawberry rhubarb smash (inspired by your strawberry basil smash): muddle half lemon and two large strawberries, add 1 oz rhubarb-infused simple syrup (1:1 sugar/water), 2 oz gin. Shake and double strain over large block ice (don't want to lose that tartness too soon). Might try a mint garnish but didn't have any on hand. Also tried with rum as base but preferred the gin.

Big fan and a big thanks to you and arigato to Az for great work. Any chance you’d consider doing a video on a drink with strega? It’s a great liqueur.

What I love about this video and this idea is that we're given the original base of the Whiskey Smash, and we're now given the opportunity to change things up a bit while keeping that same base. I think I might just go out tomorrow to buy a few different fruits/berries and try out these. Maybe not all... We'll see :)

Knife block purchased. I’ve wanted something like this for a while but had never found anything I liked. Happy to support the channel.

I have found that with the blueberry thyme smash, 75g of blueberrys is perfect.

Hi Anders! It’s been a while since I’m around here, back to Pandemic and I’d say you give me a new hobby! This clip is awesome, I’ve tried now two of four (Bourbon Blackberry and Blueberry Thime) and are really really amazing flavors… what about “The Herbal Berry Smash”. Regards from Monterrey, Mexico 🇲🇽

I really really like raspberry and rye smash, with either mint or basil.

Also, for a quick and easy version you can swap out the sweetener and the berries with jam. Probably my favorite replacement for fresh fruit (if you can't find fresh, in season fruit).

Great timing, I host a happy hour typically 1st Friday of the month with a food theme, next one is “Get Smashed” with smash burgers and along with the PBR’s, I’ll set up a few smashes for my guests…
