You guys being so unimpressed with the maze and the train ride is confirming my worst fear. That everything is cooler when you are little. I went to Dole when I was a kid and I just thought it was the coolest place ever haha
My family has had someone employed by Dole for at least 3 generations now and I still live close enough to hear the train whistle. That big piece of equipment at 4:52 came from Lana`i and was used to pick pineapple from the fields. The boom went over the field and the workers followed behind in a row picking and throwing the pineapples on the conveyor belt as the machine crawled along. The second, smaller piece of equipment was a version that rode on top of the trucks that transported the pineapples out of the fields and was used in the fields on Oahu.
Ha! Kitra needs to do what I do when I see something I NEED to buy. Put it down, walk around the store, then when you are ready to leave, decide what you still want to buy. Trust me... it really works! I have a problem! 😅
Now I want to go there! I want to take my mom just to have lunch & the dole whip. I never knew they had them anywhere else. Dole sells chocolate covered banana, strawberries and pineapples in bites in stores. I’ve always LOVED dole whip

We visit Hawaii a lot because we have family there and whenever we went to the Dole Plantation we would only just go and get a Dole Whip. So good! I have never been on the train and I think I did the maze once when I was a kid.

Just thought you should know, as regular viewers, my wife and I laughed so much at the misadventures of the train and maze. This would be an awesome series seeing you get excited for 'attractions' that aren't very good. Come on down close to my hometown where there's some poor local attractions (Cave City, KY) that siphon customers going to and from Mammoth Cave.
I loved this video. It is coming up to a year since I was in Hawaii for my 50th... I enjoyed tge train ride, in saying that it was raining the day I was there and we could barely hear the audio. I just enjoyed seeing where it all happens. I had my 1st Dole whip there, I enjoyed it but too sweet for me... my heart broke seeing that cat.. it was there when I was there... that gift soft is fantastic... another awesome e video guys

Chocolate covered pineapples were one of my favorites whenever I’d go to Disneyland. I couldn’t leave the park without that and a pickle. Now I’m hungry... thanks, guys 😒😂

I was excited to do the maze my first visit and when I realized you could see over and through the walls I passed on it. 😆 After seeing this I'm glad I skipped it. Their pineapple chews are so good too and a must to get every time I'm there. Next time Kitra just do what I do, buy a new suitcase to carry all my goodies home.

Good point about Walt and the trains Peter. Disneyland’s trains were built largely similar to Oahu Railway’s narrow gauge trains. You guys should do a travel town video!

I have never seen so many pineapple-themed products like what was in that shop. I think I liked the Beatles-inspired tee, and the Jurassic Pineapple one best.

We had a place in Australia on the Sunshine Coast (where I grew up), called The Big Pineapple. I am thinking now that it was possibly based on this place. Also with a lame train ride (which I thought was cool as a kid) and big gift area. Now I can't wait to go to Dole Plantation and re-live this - but with cooler gifts. Your videos make us laugh as well as give us great ideas :)

I have only done corn mazes in the fall in MN - they have a find the waypoint thing with various trivia - those mazes feel much cooler than the pineapple maze - except the pineapple maze is in Hawaii so I guess that's better :). This vid was hilarious

There was a hedge maze at a corn maze I went to that was tall enough you couldn’t see over. However, it was in Florida and there were so many spiders that build webs between the bushes you couldn’t even get threw it. 😂

There was a hedge maze at a corn maze I went to that was tall enough you couldn’t see over. However, it was in Florida and there were so many spiders that build webs between the bushes you couldn’t even get threw it. 😂

If you get to Waikiki Beach you need to go to Duke’s in the Outrigger hotel and try the Hula Pie it’s absolutely the best dessert in the entire world I 1000% guarantee it
