You guys being so unimpressed with the maze and the train ride is confirming my worst fear. That everything is cooler when you are little. I went to Dole when I was a kid and I just thought it was the coolest place ever haha
You are one of the few channels where I will get a meal and sit and watch your video for a whole 30 minutes. The positive energy coming from your videos is just so much.
I was born on Maui and moved to Oahu later on and remember back in the day there was a side gate to the maze that had a broken lock. My friends and I would run around the maze at night a few times every summer doing teen shenanigans. A couple decades later and I’m sure that is not tolerated anymore.. but dang those are some great memories to reminisce on. Nothing beats teen years on the island.

I loved this video. It is coming up to a year since I was in Hawaii for my 50th... I enjoyed tge train ride, in saying that it was raining the day I was there and we could barely hear the audio. I just enjoyed seeing where it all happens. I had my 1st Dole whip there, I enjoyed it but too sweet for me... my heart broke seeing that cat.. it was there when I was there... that gift soft is fantastic... another awesome e video guys

I’ve risen the train a few times. One time when we were on it a pin fell out of one of the wheels. We had to stop while the workers looked for the pin. They eventually found it, put back on and we were on our way again 🤣

My favorite snack at wdw is the chocolate dipped pineapple spear...yum! Werthers at Epcot is one place to get them 😊🍍 and they don't have that deadly point! lol

As I kid, I lived on Scofield Barracks which is literally 15 minutes down the road from the Dole Plantation, and we’d always go on the train and get Dole Whip. Because it was so close, I was always so confused when we visited Disneyland why people were waiting in such long lines for Dole Whip. Now as a resident of SoCal, I totally understand the need to wait in those lines 😂
My family has had someone employed by Dole for at least 3 generations now and I still live close enough to hear the train whistle. That big piece of equipment at 4:52 came from Lana`i and was used to pick pineapple from the fields. The boom went over the field and the workers followed behind in a row picking and throwing the pineapples on the conveyor belt as the machine crawled along. The second, smaller piece of equipment was a version that rode on top of the trucks that transported the pineapples out of the fields and was used in the fields on Oahu.

Good point about Walt and the trains Peter. Disneyland’s trains were built largely similar to Oahu Railway’s narrow gauge trains. You guys should do a travel town video!

Just thought you should know, as regular viewers, my wife and I laughed so much at the misadventures of the train and maze. This would be an awesome series seeing you get excited for 'attractions' that aren't very good. Come on down close to my hometown where there's some poor local attractions (Cave City, KY) that siphon customers going to and from Mammoth Cave.
I was excited to do the maze my first visit and when I realized you could see over and through the walls I passed on it. 😆 After seeing this I'm glad I skipped it. Their pineapple chews are so good too and a must to get every time I'm there. Next time Kitra just do what I do, buy a new suitcase to carry all my goodies home.

Kitra, Peter. I tried to make a healthy Dole Whip so I just used a few pineapples, vanilla slimfast ,almond milk and some ice. Trying to watch the sugar intake .
Lol I would of freaked out in that maze. I can't do a mirror maze without freaking out that it doesn't end. I have gotten those Mickey plushes in a tin can and they are adorable. I totally think you should of gotten the plush in a can. They are probably adorable
We loved this video guys! Lori was lucky enough to be stationed there and we went back for a visit. This gift shop is epic! Her favorite item was a Dole Pineapple chapstick! 🍍
We have been on the train many times, it is pretty educational, they explain stories and history, so you missed a lot of information. Bummer because it is more educational than anything and relaxing. We were in the front of the line before but not since COVID and they didn’t put us where you were... we were also in a larger group so we will make sure we can hear the speaker next time we go. Good tip. It sucks because you missed a lot of information. You missed the best part of the gift shop... they have ornaments you can have personalized with your names etc. we get one every time we go to remember our trip. They are so cute. Love the vids.Can’t wait to see more. We are going later in the year back to my home (Oahu) so this is nice to get us excited. Btw you need to visit Aulani outside of COVID... so much to do it makes staying there worth the price. I was also surprised you didn’t buy the refillable mugs... did you see them when you went? Lol I would of freaked out in that maze. I can't do a mirror maze without freaking out that it doesn't end. I have gotten those Mickey plushes in a tin can and they are adorable. I totally think you should of gotten the plush in a can. They are probably adorable

We loved this video guys! Lori was lucky enough to be stationed there and we went back for a visit. This gift shop is epic! Her favorite item was a Dole Pineapple chapstick! 🍍

We have been on the train many times, it is pretty educational, they explain stories and history, so you missed a lot of information. Bummer because it is more educational than anything and relaxing. We were in the front of the line before but not since COVID and they didn’t put us where you were... we were also in a larger group so we will make sure we can hear the speaker next time we go. Good tip. It sucks because you missed a lot of information. You missed the best part of the gift shop... they have ornaments you can have personalized with your names etc. we get one every time we go to remember our trip. They are so cute. Love the vids.Can’t wait to see more. We are going later in the year back to my home (Oahu) so this is nice to get us excited. Btw you need to visit Aulani outside of COVID... so much to do it makes staying there worth the price. I was also surprised you didn’t buy the refillable mugs... did you see them when you went? I saw the option on the website. Take care, you both are so cute to watch.

I was disappointed with the dole whip at my zoo. It tasted fake to me. But with big chunks of pineapple i bet it’s great. And I’m guessing the best dole whip in the world would be at the plantation.
I wonder if the dole whip at the plantation is actually fresher than the mix other places around the world get

Enjoyed today's video! Did the Gecko at the beginning try to save you 15% or more on car insurance? LOL. Also, that maze was impressive indeed, but at least it wasn't the one from Goblet of Fire. I have never seen so many pineapple-themed products like what was in that shop. I think I liked the Beatles-inspired tee, and the Jurassic Pineapple one best.
