There are hardly any tourists in Pu Luong.
It's a nice place to visit if you want a complete culture shock haha
For more touristy rice fields, I recommend visiting Sa Pa in northwest Vietnam.

that's something I wish the younger generation could realize...it seems everyone here in the US is so spoiled and there are people in the world with no homes, food, electric, running water, bathrooms, etc...
@@amysmeltzer167 yes and we cannot compare the poor In the us and poor in the country. In the us, if you wanted to and not have a job, you will still get fed. But there's literally nothing in the country unless you work/search for it. And from my experience of what I've seen, imagine living in the rice fields, hot weather, how are they able to stay clean to go to school or their job. Man... Everyone should get a chance to see real life out there and it'll definitely be life changing

Every time I think I want to travel the world I get slapped by reality.
I'm a spoiled Canadian with a seafood and a Bee sting allergy. I do carry EpiPen(s) but each pen only gives me about 15 minutes to get to a hospital if I go anaphylactic. And something tells me the hospital is way more than 15 minutes away.
