I remembered ordering the JR pass from Klook weeks ahead of my Japan trip.. and they cancelled 2 days before I fly.. In the end I had to buy it from the airport which was basically the same price and less of a hassle.

Is it worth getting a jr pass if you are staying primarily in tokyo. We are thinking of arriving in osaka for 3 days and then staying in tokyo for the remainder of our trip. First time Japan travellers and feel so lost 😞
Old comment but no it's not worth it unless you're going to lots of places and taking the Shinkansen in a short amount of time. (think Tokyo-Hiroshima-Sapporo and back etc). There is a calculator you can plug your itinerary in on Japan Guide to see the prices relative to buying the tickets individually.
