1180jrock Lucky you. This is the only song of his I know, it's great, learned about from Devil's Rejects. I'm in New York too, the city. I would like to see him, his voice has aged well. I like the way he plays guitar too, kinda angry and relaxed at the same time.
I would see good bands at a small place in the Hamptons called Steven Talkhouse. Saw Buddy there. Buddy was good. Saw Lonnie Mack there too, I think. The Lone Star in the city was a good place too, saw Robert Gordon there.

I was watching devils reject one night I feel asleep and was dreaming of this beautiful song that filled me with warmth and happiness! I opened my eyes and realized I wasnt dreaming at at all but the credits were rolling on the movie, this in now one of my favorite songs ever... thank you terry for making it and thank yo rob zombie for exposing us youth to it !

I'm typing this with tears in my eyes. This is such an amazing song. I have been playing guitar for some time and I just noticed at this performance and a few others he has the same brand. I was shocked because I would love to sound like this and after a 7 year stone has now been lifted I feel better about what I want to do.

Thanks to the movie, "The Devil's Rejects", I found the man and his music. Awesome voice....lyrics...and love the way he plays the guitar. What's the chance of Terry performing somewhere on Cape Cod, Massachusetts or the New England area? I want to put that at the top of my "bucket list". Definitely.

They play another one of his songs at the end of rob zombies new movie " 3 from hell " which is the sequel to devils rejects, it was so beautiful and nostalgic hearing it play in the movie, which during the credits is just a long shot of going down the highway like in devils rejects. It was amazing

I’m a blues, Jazz R&B man myself but when I heard Seed of Memory he is right in there with Marvin Gaye, Billy Holiday, Cassandra Wilson, Al Jarreau, Donald Smith (Lonnie Liston Smith & the Cosmic Echoes) - pure from the SOUL and from the heart.
Yet another forgotten genius - like Donald Smith and Al Jarreau.
Same league as Janis Joplin and Steve Marriott.

Yes he sounds great still but time has not been so kind to his appearance. It makes me a little sad in some ways, he is a young man performing in an old man's body. There should be a special exemption from aging for people with a gift like Terry. they shouldn't have to grow old like the rest of us.

He's out there great terry, always was. One of a kind. But i can sort of see why he was never huge. Disregarding so called bad luck and substance and alcohol issues, his material has always been meandering ( in a good way) and questing. Often freeform. Certainly not commercial. Apart from 4th of july and the album that was off, which i did'nt like .
