Everything about this video is amazing. The deck, the script, the visuals, this is easily now in my top 3 mtg channels on TH-cam. Glad to be starting from the bottom here!
@@Zeyga that's some high praise, prof especially. We take those. Check out Salubrious Snail if you don't know him already. Arguably my favourite outside of prof
I enjoyed baba when I first built her as fun turtle burn deck. Where I use 5 fogs (fog, lull, archbogenesis, darkness, and haze) then used forced multi typing change like aysha soul of the wilds, transmodify, and liquid metal torque. Or even having crop ration fetch my 3 typing lands ( mishra s factory, blinkmoth nexsus) they constantly return they to the board with ernis , gloom stalker. But all things came to an end when my play group keep seeing me more and more of a threat with her and decided to challenge me in making her high power. Which I ended creating my hulk baba deck which utilizes the basic natural growth to get protean hulk out to sack it to baba and start infinite combos with Mike/ball or the anti- presist presist lines. 😅😅😅😅 then it came to an end of my time playing baba since no matter how I built her neither I nor my play group would enjoy the fun and interesting cards that baba has to offer in her arsenal.
Really love this video in this deck profile super fun. Don’t know if I’m a try it but definitely would recommend and also I picked up under realm Lynch and songs of the damned best cards I ever got for the deck.😂
Here’s a question for everyone. What’s your favorite color pairing? Mine is Blue/Green because I like summoning big creatures and ramping which is what green does best. I also like busting out big sea monsters which is what blue does best when it’s not annoying people with counter spells. In other words I simply like summoning big creatures.
It was black and red because I have a natural willingness to sacrifice my own creatures, like green I can get big creatures quickly just at a cost of my own life or some other penalty
isnt crop rotation a super good instant for the deck? you are able to tutor and put into battlefield mysras factory ir foundry which is your best sacrifice option cause is three types in one, and you actually are encouraged to have land on your cementery. it is also really budget, 2$.
Hey Arturo. You're correct that the Mishras lands are good, but I cut them largely due to budget. On a $50 budget, those two lands are almost 10% of the entire deck budget, and I believe they're only really worth it when run alongside land recursion engines like Crucible of Worlds, or on the budget end, Ramunap Excavator and Conduit of Worlds. So between those 4 cards alone we're now looking at 30% of the overall deck budget. Given I'm also focused on token centric win conditions, it deviates too much from what my deck is trying to do, and would make games where I don't hit that specific loop feel very bad to play. Hope this helps in understanding why they're cut. If one wanted to add $25 or so, one could easily fit 5-6 cards in that makes it worthwhile to play those.
Top notch walkthrough - I will be sending this to my wife as she has been wanting to build Baba.
🙏Thanks! Hope she enjoys it. This budget should make it a no brainer

Thank you 🤜🤛 glad you enjoyed it. What are the other two channels? 👀 Always keen to find good creators if I'm not following them already
No worries! Better Commander and good ol Tolarian Community are my other two.

Having built Baba as one of my first homebrew builds, seeing people talking about this commander is excellent.
She's great! Hope you got something out of the video
Thanks for the video ! I'm new to mtg and I didn't understand everything but hopefully I'll be able to build a strong deck with Baba !

Glad you enjoyed it friend 🙏 Underrealm Lich and Songs of the damned are both bangers.
Very fun deck, do you know any particular deck list for a higher budget?
Yeah, check out Joey Shultz deck - archidekt.com/decks/1585124#REK'D
