Nice job! Where do you get M8 backing pads for your Makita GV5010?

I would have started with a 120 brick 400-800-3000pads acitone & enhancer. But then we wouldn’t be able to hear all that awesome music for so long.

Can you use a sanding tool instead of a rotary polishing tool?

Why not just use dry pads bro?

He polishes one 6in by 1 in dull edge, doesn’t describe equipment or pads. This is pretty much useless if you are wanting to polish the surface of a granite counter yourself.

that cheater liquid at the end gives u an insta-shine. u will NEVER get a good polish on black absolute or black galaxy without water and wetpads.

SlimOpz , in my family, I have 2 big businesses that imports and fabricates stone countertops with over 15 years experience that runs at full capacity. I have experience in stone industries from the template/measurements to fabricate and installation.
This is a quick and easy process that can be done in different ways, when you don’t have a factory finish. Yes, of course, is not perfect like in the factory, with water pads. Looks decent and you can finish it on the jobs site.👍🏻

Makita 9565CV is the only tool you need. Water pads can be used on jobsites.

Pristine Kitchens & Baths Corp PKB even with wet pads you can’t get absolute black or a lot of the black colors to match the finish, Ager helps a lot though I had some black quartz one time and it was impossible to polish but I made it work

Yes you can. You need to use a diamond grinding cup to close the pores first. Then just go through your normal wet polishing pad routine. #100, 400, 800 and 1500 are the most important. From the #400 onwards you need to start dialing down the water towards the end so as to get some heat into the stone and pad so as to bring the polish out. Granted you don't want to be hitting the top surface but to polish the 20mm sides it's easy to match the top. At the end of the #1500 grab a calico buff, flick some wax on it and buff.

yeah nah dude thanks for the tip. This maybe what gets me through this! I was having a problem with black galaxy quartz. I’m going to try your method tomorrow. Good looking out!

Szóval how to polish granite , nem így !!!!
