Agree a few points with you Marek. Test drove this model and found that; in Comfort mode.
    -ves:
    - slow to pick up speed in low gears.
    - Upon slowing down, sometimes slow to pick speed back up.
    - Steering’s stiffer (compared with the version before this) during parking.
    - Steering wheel feels less luxurious.
    -noise, does sound like diesel!
    +ve:
    - Softer, more comfortable suspension over bumps and holes.
    - Think the new head & tail lights are beautiful.
    - Large and high res dashboard screen is nice.
    - option: Easy enter&exit seat adjust.
    - Visual for adjusting sound volume.

I dont think that sound insolation nore steering is poor, maybe the steering could give me more feedback about what the front tires doing, but its direct enough

I agree that the sound insulation without the acoustic glass isn't great. While its good for a normal mid size car, from a premium car it can be expected more. Otherwise the interior makes up a lot for that. It has much more càche than the outgoing 3 series or even the actual A4, while the latter is even better in regards of haptic and quality. Would I buy the C Class again, no...I would go for an E Class or 5 series next time, especially for the improvement in comfort.

Nice job. I love people who are honest, it is shame that this kind of dude, who tell you the truth about any car, the real drivers problems, for example for suzuki swift you cant see upper traffic lights or this model that is not so premium even if we talk about mercedes, that he have only 100k subs. And others who tell the lies and talk nice about bad things in the cars have 10m subs. This is a strange world. When I buy my car, first thing I watch video from this channel, and everything this dude say is on the spot. He honestly told in the video that you won't reach far in 4x4 mode on that specific car, and he is right. That was suv and not true off road car. I hope that this man gets respect he deserve!

6:16: Hi Marek, thank you for this review. You speak from 6:15 about the average comfort of this car. This is the second review online i find for the face lifted C Class which talks about the average suspension. To be honest i drove this car myself for 3 days (standard suspension, no AMG) and found it myself also quite bouncy for a Merc which surprised me. Since i saw such comments missing not only from your original review when this c class debuted 6 years, where not only you but also other youtube reviewers mentioned a comfortable ride, my question is following: did they mess up something in the facelift? I'd appreciate your feedback as i am looking this car for my dad and was planning to buy it soon. Unfortunately it has to be a Merc but the E-Class is too expensive.

Thanks for the review which I viewed several months ago when I was looking to replace my BMW 5 series.
I was almost put off taking an extended test drive of a C Class such was your dissatisfaction with the car.
I’m so glad I didn’t. The C Class was one of four cars I was considering and test drove a Mondeo Vingnale, Audi A4, BMW 3 Series and the C Class. Of the four, the Class was head and shoulders above the rest in terms of the cabin feel and quality and I certainly don’t agree that the C Class cabin is dated - it’s nothing of the sort. As regards the ride quality of the cars, they were fairly closely matched although the Mondeo was well behind the others. As I wasn’t in the market for an aggressive, hard driving car, comfort was much more important to me and once the C Class was matched with the Airmatic option it left the others behind in day to day driving.
This highlights the problem with reviews such as this in that they are very subjective and it’s inevitable that the testers/reviewers bias will have an impact. As will my own bias having chosen to buy an AMG Line C Class a couple of months ago and been very happy with it indeed.
The experience I would draw from watching car reviews is that it is essential to test drive a car yourself and make a decision based on that experience rather than just watching/listening to the comments of a TH-cam review.

The mazda suspetion is very unconfortable in our roads, and the interrior is full of plastic. The drive experience is better on the mercedes because of the rearweel drive. The inerrior is quieter. I grew up in Mercedes-Land, countryside close to Stuttgart and there every farmer had a MB 190E / C200 - low spec, just having the star at the bonnet was a must. Then I tried a 2008 C-Class as a gift for my partner. It was unreliable rubbish; 10 miles past the warranty the entire front steering rack required replacement (US$5000) and had to fight with Mercedes to cover it under warranty. Old Mercedes were great, but since the mid-2000s, they look great, but they are just rubbish.

Having to walk around to the boot of the vehicle (a real hassle I know - NOT!) to release the rear seat backs is by design. It is designed so you can place luggage in the boot, flick a switch in the glove box to prevent the boot from being opened and then lock the glove box using the mechanical key. You then remove the mechanical key from the key fob. Then when you're at a hotel, you can have your vehicle valet parked and the boot is secure. The valet cannot open the boot by normal means nor can they access the boot by folding down the rear seats (they'd have to have access to the boot to do this). I don't understand why you make this carefully thought out feature sound like a design flaw.

No doubt you're probably right but it seems stupid to me, (1) How often does a valet park your car and (2) If the valet is trusted to park your very expensive car, he or she can probably be trusted not too pinch your golf clubs, hand made shoes, diamond encrusted coffee cup, or whatever else you keep in there.

I'm quite sure that this 1.5 liter 184hp car can easily do 130kmh having some extra space under the pedal to overtake. So, I'd buy premium for silence. This car is designed for buyers who see a Merc as an aspirational brand - and who realllllly have to "reach" to buy the low spec, C class. In Canada, the car barely costs more than a fully loaded Honda Accord Touring. What is a premium / luxury brand...? 6 cyl minimum 300-350 horsepower, all digital display(s), semi- autonomous driving tech fast shifting ZF or DC tranny and three primary materials inside the cabin - wood, leather and metal.... NO plastics or faux materials. If you talk to Merc mechanics they scoff at this car... the low end of a "real" Mercedes? E450....

For example A class; Renault DIESEL(R.Diesel died in 1905) and torsion beam?? But hey, car talks ! Toyota ( lexus) are really inovative with their hybrid power trains, Tesla too, but they are still too exotic
