Jacob Thompson on that car is leasing not cheaper. I don’t suspect the S5 holds its value any better than the normal A5?
@@Horizon301. I don't know tbh. I don't care which is cheaper, I always buy my car's outright anyway. I know it's lost £6,000 in a year, but I never keep my car's longer than 2 years.

I saw this, after I bought the C200 amg Premium Plus. Utterly amazing car. Super comfortable seats. Brilliant. I bought this with actual money though. No air suspension but frankly it rides really well. Burmeister is amazing. Great car. Headlights are simply amazing on auto. Like driving in mid summer daylight. I am so happy with my choice. I will have a proper look at the new version once there is U.K. stock.
How is this an 18 plate car? I’m looking for a face lifted C class estate but all of the 2018 cars on Auto Trader don’t have the facelift??

I can’t believe that as people interested in cars, we have pushed manufacturers to offer us multi-coloured interior lighting as part of an option and they’re rogering us senseless for the privilege.

Good stuff Howard, the new C class is a certainly a very attractive proposition. However I don't think it will tempt many BMW owners unless they aren't prepared to wait for the new G20 3 series (Touring). Oh and the Harmon Kardon sound system is the mid range system for the 5 and 7 series. The premium Bowers and Wilkens Diamond Surround Sound system is more than a match for the Burmeister system in the Merc. Cheers

Whatever you do don't get the fake Artico leather seats. It's appaling and cracks and peals under the slightest wear and tear. Mercedes will not cover this under warranty even on low mileage cars.

Once again Howard knocks car reviews for a six with his sheer class leading performance. Though I'm surprised, @6:11 into the video, how he allowed some of "us commoners" to stroll down is driveway to his weekend getaway (As partly seen towards the beginning of this video.).
Like the other German rivals, Mercedes Benz seem to be doing it right. Maybe just a little bit more right at the moment.
I'm still waiting for that joyous moment when the BBC finally pull their fingers out of their ***holes and say that Howard will be presenting TopGear. C'est la vie... :-))...

Burmeister upgrade stinks- stock system on GLS blows it out of the water although that is not saying much. Would like to hear a real Burmeister upgrade on an S class one day...

Stay away from the Airmatic if it's your own personal car and not a company car...its rather unreliable and made several times problems on my pre facelift model...around 50k Km one front suspension unit already had to be replaced, which costs over 1600 EuR per wheel!!! In any case get the acoustic glass...otherwise the C class isnt even class average in that regard.

The new C class is basically old and good but not comparable with the new BMW 3 series. No way!
As with anything German the car comes with four tyres and steering wheel. Everything else is extra.
