- You can easily get to level 200 mining with a single route, without spending a month doing it! We did this on a Fresh Start server.
This is a great aptitude farm and provides a healthy amount of Platinum, Silver, Gold, Iron, and some Orichalcum.

As far as we can tell, and bots aside, we were the first level 200 mining in the server Seer! We ground mining and almost exclusively mining during our stint in the game. I can confidentially say it is about 1.5-2 days of in game time to get to 200 mining.
Some further notes here, as this area has blue trees and wolves, it is a good multi farm zone if waiting for the nodes on an initial visit or if you are exceptionally fast at mining.
As you will need wood for charcoal, it works out!
I did this route a bit last night and it works well. Needless to say, the quieter the time, the fewer random people joining. The good news is if you stick to the route you can discourage others who may be haphazardly or opportunistically looking for iron. If you go out of the way for a few extra iron (there is more if you keep going) you run the risk of being late to the first node and many look for it as a large node cluster like that makes the "must see" list of many who casually pass through.
two variations I suggest, fall down the mountain to the right of the orichalcum and there's two iron nodes. If you can't get ori yet, don't drop down into that and stay on the rocks to get to the iron at the tip of that rock formation faster. If you have a lot of competition for the iron, you can expand the loop to the shrine and get starstone on the cliffs along with more iron, and then loop up to the tower (Sirius) and past it, staying on the rocks and drift near the Everfall border.
I noticed that you aren't late for the respawns. Make sure to go that rock on the town side of the shrine as you go back. Those are high visibility and are mined often, so don't wait for them on your route, always mine if they are there.
Lastly, you might want to skip the cave if you don't have Platinum, though if you don't want to extend the route, then definitely do it.

i have a certain area i farm for hemp and today in one run i picked up 1400 fiber. its a low level area too im farming mats for my company
@@ljwall3919 I just did a Hemp/Hyssop/Highland Bison run today. Every 4 bison brought my Tracking & Skinning up a level, I ended up with hundreds of herbs, and in one run had 3300+ fiber. The area is also spitting distance from a Fast Travel. There are also lots of those special weird plants/flowers like Dragonglory...
and now, we at lvl 60 must find another way to find iron :) - good job
Iron mine near brightwatch or go the oposit of that for starmetal . The starmetal route also counts as multi farm one cause of different trees . The bears give hide if ye need too . Back at release you went for dynasty shipyard and circled the island ... dunno if that still is a thing though , looks like they removed some ori veins and put some star inbetween (might be able to level mining , up there now) . Still figuring brimstones out . There is actualy a more hidden route in ebonscale reach thats not popular for ppl that dont use the interactive map . I like the region so i figured some optional farming methods out , till i got into reekwater farming . That was endgame farming before brimstone dunno how it is now .
I will check on the iron and starmetal for sure! I have been calculating my different starmetal routes by ore per hour today, and this fits right in!
Route is decent, but I complete it way before respawn time and I hit extra veins not in the video

What the absolute best thing to do with the iron you mine?
I make alot of orichalcum ingots for leveling and selling / giving away tools. So, I use it for that.
BUT, you can sell the ore directly for (currently on Seer) 0.3 per ore on the auction house. A typical run gets me 4-5k ore with some basic prospector bags (ore weight reduction).
@@shiurx Check the price of ingots first. Ore is going for 0.38 on my server but ingots are selling for 1.70.
At that price I don't even bother mining iron. I buy the ore smelt it in to ingots and sell it back at a profit and I get all that smithing xp for free.
@@monkeynews8311 you absolutely can do that! I am playing a solo found character, though, so I farm everything I need.
Buying would certainly be faster, but it's not the experience I'm going for.

Apriciate your work with this video,but why wuld anyone waste time to find Iron when 2 x normal stones gives same exp as the 1 iron and all maps are full with stones.I watch ur video only for rushing some exp,but if i mine everithing i see is much faster..just runing randomly around.I am lv70 mining and for me seems to be faster with stones
Iron tends to be more useful than stones for more things. This both gives you the iron for later crafting, or selling, and all the other nodes that give much larger xp bonuses.
Still, if you like stones, have at it! You could easily incorporate the stone piles along this route into it.
There is no wrong way to level in New World!

if you are over level 35 the next route I upload has a good bit of all ores, but would be a bit slower than inkwell overall. Should be up Wednesday!
