    Excellent video!!! I’m an intelligent person, but sometimes can’t see the forest for the trees LOL!!! I have been a gatherer since the game started. Crafted who knows how many ingots at this point and didn’t realize that ori with platinum didn’t require whichever reagent it was, charcoal or flux. I’ve even made ori ingots with platinum because I had no starmetal on hand. Really focusing on crafting skills now on both characters. Got weaponsmithing to 150 yesterday on my alt finally. Point for my comment is you broke it down into manageable terms, which is easier to comprehend vs craft 3362 ori blunderbusses, as an example. Also, for new players, I feel I should point out don’t overlook the town board quests that show up periodically for those skills. You won’t be able to level all the way up, but I got to around lvl 115 or so (on my alt, after the patches) solely on town boards for those type skills. Maybe a few batch crafts along the way at lower levels. Some decent xp to be had there and save some money along the way. Anyway, thanks for the content. Keep it up!!! Subscribed.

      Thank you for the kind words, I sincerely appreciate them!
      The town boards are indeed a great resource. I actually should have included them for the Starmetal swords as a break up. For iron, they would take too long, for Ori, they would do too little, but for starmetal, and probably steel, they would have been great!
      Good observation!

    I'm a bit confused.. whenver you say craft x amount of that greatsword does that mean thats all we need to hit the next stage e.g 30 Starmetal greatswords to reach 150 or are we supposed to do it in batches of 30s? Or is it that this is already outdated?

    • @shiurx
      @shiurx  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You do it in batches of 30. I broke it up into batches to make it far more manageable. I hope that helps!

      @@shiurx I see! Makes a lot more sense why I had to invest more than I thought. Thanks for the fast reply. Another thing I noticed is that you get significantly more exp for each 1st craft of each weapon. So I think its more efficient to 1st craft 1 of each and then going for Greatsword only

    • @shiurx
      @shiurx  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@kiziroakami I actually tried that across different characters, and the time you spend clicking between each one slows you down just enough to make it less efficient than just Mass crafting greats words. But, as it breaks up the monotony and you enjoy doing that more, it's perfectly viable to do it that way

    Greatsword is sooo ridicilous op, in absolute every category. I will stop playing NW because of the major balance problems.

    • @shiurx
      @shiurx  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just remember that every new thing that comes out tends to be presented in the best light possible for it.
      The greatsword will be overshadowed soon by some other meta.
      And you will be hard pressed to find an MMO without SOME meta weapon that is just better overall.
      BUT, I agree, the GS is not just better, it is amazingly above the other weapons in every regard.
      I recommend that instead of changing games over it, if you like playing New World, use it until it gets nerfed.
      Just using it gives them metrics on the most used weapons, which let's them know how broken it is. It will eventually be brought back towards a more neutral weapon, I believe.
