- Easy Raindrop/water droplets effect in resin.💦
In today's video I show you how to create the water drop/rain drop effect in resin. This technique is super easy and you can get some really gorgeous results. I will be making two resin trinkets dishes in this video because I want to see what kind of effect we get when manipulating the resin droplets. For the first tray I do my best to control the shape of the resin and keep it as circular as possible and for the second tray, I play around with the resin and randomize the shapes of the resin drops. I really hope you guys find this video interesting and be sure to comment down below which tray you like the most.

Which is your favourite tray? 💚OR 💙?
💚. 😜
I love the greens drops but wish it had been blue because it would look even more water like. However that green color is gooorrrrgeous
Green!!❤
Green
💙👍
I like the blue mica better, but the green drops look better!! 🤗💖 Beautiful job!! 🥰
Thank-you and yes I agree!
I like the green one’s water droplets but I love the blue/pinkish one’s color
Like the raindrops in the yellow, but love the blue
I love the green 💚! Awesome!!✌️
I LOVE the color of the blue but the drops look better on the green one! Great job!
I was thinking exactly this
I love the look of you the green one but love the color of the blue one. I will use the technique on the green one but make it blue. Both are gorgeous however.
Green looks awesome ❤
The blue, but the glittery rim edges I absolutely love.
I love both but agree the green one is very realistic!!! Beautiful
Wow these look great love the blue one
Stupendi 🤩👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I love the blue one the best
Both of them are very gorgeous
😮😍 Soooo pretty
Very pretty. Both of them.
Green looks natural but they both look good
I Love both of them, but I do love the green one more...
Both Look nice but i like Blue better, Great Job
❤ blue
I like the green but the blue is beautiful also
I preferred the blue. Great video!
I like the look of them both regardless of one having more natural looking rain drops. I like both colours too.
Omg, these are really beautiful, well done you did a great job 👏👏👏🌻🦋🦔
beautiful both of them
I absolutely love how the blue looks, but the green has a better drop texture. So I guess I like both, but for different reasons
I’m loving the green one ❤. Great video xx
The blue look good
The blue is my favorite color but the green is beautiful.
Wow, stunning results! They're both gorgeous but I prefer the green one
Hehe everyone really likes the green one.💚
I like the blue tray. Reminds me more of bubbles
Green!!
😊
The trays really came out beautifully! My favorite is the GREEN because it does look real. Makes me want to grab a cloth and wipe it off! 😁
Hahaha. 👍🏻
The green. I do love them both though
Would love to see the random drops in blue. Those absolutely look more realistic. Both are really nice though. ✌🏻🤍
Both fabulous. Thank you. I agree that the random look is more effective. 🤗
Love both.
Great job!❤
Super Cool 👍🏻 Just did this with some skull necklaces. Love this effect 💜
ooo I bet that looked really cool. :D
They are Beautiful ❤❤❤!!!
Good job! I like the blue one. But that's only because I like the color better and reminded me more of water.
I love the blue mica as well. I love how it turns purple if you move it at different angles. :)
Green
Second one love it
I noticed how you used the popsicle stick to pull out the sides of the mold when pouring your resin….BRILLIANT! Tray looks beautiful, thanks for sharing..👍❤
Absolutely beautiful I love the 2 mould with the drops but I prefer the blue colour. But equally gorgeous x
Both of these are pretty, but for me personally, it's the green one all the way! I love it!
I love both of them!!
They are both beautiful but the green one is my favorite, like you said it looks more natural. ❤
💚
The green is my favorite, but I luv the blue, hw it looks purple at certain angles
I love them both! 🙌🏻
Wow !!
OMG... I had forgotten I subbed to your channel and I'm glad I did! These dishes turned out beautifully and I like the way the mica made the bottoms look like a nebula or galaxy. Absolutely stunning!
Both are really nice - but 💚
Love it
Beautiful, love them
Very good job!
I love them both but the blue purple one is my fav ❤
Love your ideas 💡
I can’t decide. I am more partial to the green one. Really love BOTH! Quick suggestion, when you cover projects, lift one side a bit so it can breathe and the moisture won’t leave a film on top.
Thank-you for the suggestion. I've never had that problem BUT with Summer and humidity coming I'll start doing that. ☺️
I like the drops on the green one better since, as you said, it looks more realistic. The blue drops look more like polka dots to me. Love the technique!
You definitely have to try it if you haven't already. Its fun using both types of resin.☺️
@@JBKonsCreations I haven't tried it yet. I have to get back on the bandwagon lol
They look awesome I’m so going to try these tricks n tips love them both x❤
The green one.
I love them both!
I actually liked the blue mold more than the green but both are beautiful!!!💜💜💜
Wow these are so freaking neat, I had no idea how you were going to do raindrops but then was like oh duh. Super cute.
I think they're both absolutely gorgeous but the green one is more like rain it's more random
They are both beautiful but I love the green more. Thanks for sharing 👍🏽
The green one is very popular haha. :)
@@JBKonsCreations Lol 😆
You do such wonderful work!! Thanks for sharing ❤
Love the green one. Great experiment, gonna be more random when I do this technique.
Yess. Random seems to be the key!
Rain drops and color shifting?! Two effects for the price of one!! 😁
I think i like the blue one’s colout for this more, but the random shapes a bit better.
I’d like to know if it works with epoxy. Probably would have to be a thicker one like the one you use for doming.
yes Im not sure I have the right resin but I definitely want to try it!
Both r nice
Both really pretty, but the olive tray is more realistic for water droplets. Also, I think it's awesome how the excess color powder rose to the top of the pour.
Great results on both. I like the drops in the green one better, however on my screen the green looks more yellow and reminded me of swiss cheese 😂
Love them both
Beautiful 😍 I like both of them
Thank you! 😊
❤omg both
That is very cool. I have seen pictures in my feeds and was curious how it was done - it seems totally doable and fun to customize!
It really is an easy technique. ☺️
I like the blue one better
They are both beautiful, but I like the random one better it’s closer to what nature would be with raindrops
Totally agree!
I like both but as the color goes I like the blue and both techniques are awesome. Just depends what your going for
yes that’s true. 😊
green
❤
🌟💖🌟
I've very curious to know how the drops would work if using regular resin, so I hope you do a video on that as well!
I'll be getting right on it.☺️
You could totally do this with regular resin you’d just have to let it cure a bit first until it thickens. The upside is it wouldn’t be as hard on the silicone molds as UV resin can be!
I'm definitely going to be trying it in a future video. That's encouraging. My molds have been left with the marks from the uv resin droplets unfortunately..
@@JBKonsCreations yeah I started hearing that a few days ago after watching weeks of videos of people making droplet projects and was so bummed 🤣
Did you dome it with the uv or the regular resin. Both are gorgeous
Regular. 😃
💚
😊
I think the green one has too many oblong drops and the blue one could be a little more random. So I think you need them to meet in the middle.
What do use the trays for?
for spare change or to hold small pieces of jewellery. 🙂
Does anybody know does resin mix with others?
Like I if I used a non UV resin from one company with another uv resin but from a different company. Will it turn out ok or does it need to be by the same company?
I highly suggest not to mix different resins that are uncured. Now if you're doing a project in layers and pour one layer from one brand then let that get tacky (cure up a bit) and then mix up another batch to pour another layer from another brand that should be fine. I do it all the time.
Domes don’t usually make very effective holders of trinkets.
I think it depends how deep the trinket dish is and how much resin you put in to dome.
Чем вы нанесли точки?
Did you try with regular resin/ epoxy instead of the UV resin?
Yes I did. My newest video is me trying :)
Artsy Madwoman tried epoxy and was unsuccessful.
I haven’t watch that video but I am in the process of trying it out.👀
its pretty but awfull for anyone with trypophobia because they look more like holes than to water
Soo nice, both are so good, but mine is blue 😱😍 I wish I could do this, but I can´t get epoxy 😳🥹
Green
I like the random drops in the green mild but love the blue colour best but they are both beautiful thanks for the tutorial going to have a go ❤
