Yes it’s because u applied directly to the mold, ur best bed is actually make the entire tray, then apply the tattoo b4 doing a top coat/doming it. U can get a lot of cool 3D fx if u add several layers in between like a sandwich effect too. I love the idea playing around with the tattoos & different results! Nice project, thanks for sharing even tho they weren’t what u were hoping for❤
I love the blue cloud that’s my favourite one but I’m also a sucker for purple! I think they are pretty but I agree on the tattoos and alcohol inks. I think tattoos do better on a plain light coloured background.
Love the cloud blue my fav colour real shame the others did body turn out but may be you could still put the tattoo on before top coating with clear resin ❤
temp tattoos can be tricky with any kind of background. I prefer to add the tattoo to the finished surface (and using a thin clear coat) because it comes out sharper. the cloud is beautiful! love all three molds, and they are perfect with the alcohol ink effect.
👋 Came across your channel and am enjoying your discoveries! 🇨🇦. Wondering if you have tried using the tattoo with clear - waiting for it to cure - then doing the whiskies with alcohol inks? The technique produced a beautiful effect. Just wished to see the tattoos - they are so beautiful! 🌺
I love doing the tattoos but I have never done them with the alcohol ink. But I have had a problem with the regular inks. They turn out really pretty but the tattoos are sticky when you demold them. I am going to try next time to put a real thin layer of resin in first, let it harden, then put on the tattoo. The tattoos turn out really well and love them but don't like the sticky. I'm hoping that putting a layer of resin on first takes care of the problem!!!
Use a little less tattoo and a little less ink so they all have room to shine. Consider using ink colours that are a little more of a contrast to the tattoos. I love this idea and I think your first round was really pretty … and good learnings. Can’t really ask for more :) I have a coaster mold that I’m itching to try now !
The blue one is my favorite and if you put a thin layer of resin over the tattoo and let it cure before doing the alcohol wispies the wispies would have been behind the tattoos then do your final layer then do a thin layer on the front to seal the tattoos i usually put a thin layer of resin first then cure then put the tattoo on then my final layer unless im putting something behind the tattoo then another thin layer and let cure so thats whats behind the tattoo wont blend into the tattoo then final layer or do what another commenter said and do your project first then apply the tattoo then top coat it hope that makes sense but they all turned out beautifully
Beautiful! I know you used the Lets Resin Alcohol Inks on the inside of the trays to crate the wispies, but what did you use to color the outsides of the trays! Pigment Paste? Brand? Very cool!
I was worried about that. I've made some pieces that didn't turn out cuz tattoo got lost from using too dark of colors. And always need to seal tats. 💙
When you put the tattoo down pour a thin coat of clear resin and let it cure at least till its tacky. Then pour the rest of the clear and the alcohol inks in and sweerel them around. That way the tattoo want flont up into the resin. It will stay in the front.
You can see a hint of the tattoo in the flower mold. It wasn’t very vibrant to start with. I haven’t moved on to the reveal of the other two molds, yet. Maybe with more muted pastel colors mixed in the resin, instead of wispy’s, which I really like. I am only considering trying to make my second career in the art world. I am a pharmacist, so I like mixing, and chemical reactions. And, I adore color! Many people I used to work with would agree that I always had new pens in lots of different colors.
This is a better technique for using alcohol inks because more space is involved than the tiny jewelry pieces Daniel Cooper uses. He does use larger molds for blooms, but he doesn't do this.
I bet if you put a thin clear coat, cure, over your tattoos, they woukd t get as lost in the process. By the way, I appreciate you showing us your trial and error. ☺️
My favorite is the blue cloud. I am so glad you chose not to add the tattoo to that one. I actually can see a cat's head and face on the left side and a dog's head and face on the right side. My daughter could only see the cat. I'm not sure if anyone else can see this or not. I think the idea of the wispy alcohol ink is a good one and that the tattoos should be added to the surface after it is cured. Then yes, sealed in to protect the tattoo.
Sadly, alcohol inks don't stay. They all fade over time. That's why people suggest not selling alcohol ink creations, cause over time they either fade away, or turn a weird color. Whether months or a year, they will not be the same. These are so beautiful! I really like the cloud one.
It’s disappointing because alcohol inks can be pretty pricey. The Let’s Resin ones aren’t too bad but I can’t buy them in Canada. I had to go pick them up in the US. But nonetheless this was fun and I’ll enjoy the trinket dishes as long as I can!😊
You need to put tattoos upside down not like on skin, soak the backing paper and slide the tattoo off it, remember when they go on skin they are reversed, when you put them in a mould they are not because you see them from the back
Hey sweetie! Yeah tattoos and resin or ecoresin needs a seal 🦭 I made one thinking I could get away with out doing it and it ended up all dusty and bits stuck to it. My hope was they might de-stickify in the air like they do on your skin. But alas 😞 I was wrong! I love all of them! You could try finding the same tattoo and putting it on top of the green and purple ones maybe it will show more. But I love the cloud and tomorrow I am gonna make some cloud coasters cos they are so cute. Thank you for the idea!😊
I love them all; the colors are amazing!!! So I learned, from you, that tattoos and ink don’t go together- thank you!
The cloud was awesome. Best without the tattoos, leaves the ink to be the center of interest. Nice video, thanks.
Just a tip, spread the clear resin before adding the ink. Then mold won't get stained and the ink has more room to move.
Good point!
Great tip!
Even with the tattoos missing, they turned out gorgeous!! 🤗😍
They did! 😊 I want to make some more and try other colours!
@@JBKonsCreations Sounds like a great plan!! 🤗🌈
@@jaykb6587 It was my first time really using alcohol inks. I didn't know how much to use lol.
So pretty! The cloud ☁️ Is my favorite Soooo Beautiful
They are gorgeous ❤ The cloud is totally perfect. ❤ x
I really enjoyed watching this, I LOVE that blue one, it looks so nice. Awesome video!
thankyou.☺️
The purple one is my favorite. I would love to see this with the tattoo on top. Great job
Thank-you!
I think they're adorable I also go see the flowers good job
thanks! the purple one is easier to see the tattoo.

My favorite is the blue one. But they are all great
I love those molds!❤❤❤
I'm a new subscriber and I love the cloud. 🥰😍
The Blue Is Awesome🎉
All amazing! Love the molds, and no tattoo just alcohol ink wispy!! Blue is my favourite

ALL OF EM' ARE BEAUTIFULLY WONDERFUL!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
You did a fantastic job. They look great.
These are so beyond beautiful!
I love using temporary tattoos in my molds i also use iron ons to they are awesome
They are all still pretty but that cloud is gorgeous 😍
Love the blue tray
I love love love the blue one 💙
I love the blue cloud that’s my favourite one but I’m also a sucker for purple! I think they are pretty but I agree on the tattoos and alcohol inks. I think tattoos do better on a plain light coloured background.
Ill have to try again for both. I just love the effect the alcohol inks left😊
I love how they look. Great job!!!
So beautiful.
I did a tray with a temp tattoo. It turned out wonderful.
Love, love, love the blue one!!
I think the purple one has enhanced the tattoo. Looks amazing.
I like all of them but I actually like the purple the best! It has a cool effect! The cloud 2nd.
Thank you!
Even though you lost the tattoo it's still very beautiful!!!❤❤❤❤
These are gorgeous ❤❤❤. Your “mistake” actually turned out beautifully. ❤❤❤
Wow! You cab totally see the flower in the alcohol ink.
My favourite tray is the blue cloud
BLUE ONE GORGEOUS!!!;❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful!!!
Love the cloud blue my fav colour real shame the others did body turn out but may be you could still put the tattoo on before top coating with clear resin ❤
Yess Im thinking it needs a clear coat first and then put the tattoo. Might be better!

I love the cloud 😊

@ least now u know! I like the cloud bc of the colors. That's my fav.
Keep the tattoos, no alcohol ink. The blue cloud is my favorite. Great job!
I think it’s beautiful
Just an idea you could put the tattoo on the front now or put clear resin on first and let it sett
Beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤ what resin did you use?

For the tattoos I would do a light layer of clear resin over the the tattoo after it hardens. Alcohol inks and resin .

Love the blue one, but the purple one is pretty cool too, the green was lost
agreed🙂
You're good try it again!!!
Beautiful! I know you used the Lets Resin Alcohol Inks on the inside of the trays to crate the wispies, but what did you use to color the outsides of the trays! Pigment Paste? Brand? Very cool!
Its Let’s Resin’s regular resin pigments mixed with a little bit of white. :)

I still love them all and the blue is my fave f you study it. You can see the eye nose and chin andvthe hair. I see a face on the blue
❤❤❤❤❤
The colours are amazing!! Without the tattoos would probably be beter or not as much wispy achohol
I agree with you that the picture got lost with the inks but the wisps are pretty.

Do a thin layer with tatt and let it set up then do a layer of alcohol ink then the white.
This is a better technique for using alcohol inks because more space is involved than the tiny jewelry pieces Daniel Cooper uses. He does use larger molds for blooms, but he doesn't do this.
Alcohol on a q-tip is the best way to remove tattoos. The background color has to be in a shade that isn’t the same as the tattoo.
I think if I had just done the tattoos it would of stand out on the white. lol I just decided to try too many thing at once🤣
@@JBKonsCreations I will always try a lot before getting the hang of it... it´s fun to experiment :)
Could you retry them with the tattoos and just a thin layer of clear, over that let it dry. Then do the wispy alcohol inks behind it please?
I love love love the purple one. Maybe a little less alcohol inks so you can see the tattoos?
The first pigments that you mix with the resin, that you don't show, are those alcohol inks too?
no. they’re just lets resin’s regular resin pigments mixed with a few drops of white.
I bet if you put a thin clear coat, cure, over your tattoos, they woukd t get as lost in the process. By the way, I appreciate you showing us your trial and error. ☺️
All of them

If I remember correctly you can use alcohol to remove the tattoos even after they are cured. Tattoos require a top coat.
i’ll have to remember that for next time.😄
if you lay a clear over the tattoo and dry before ink
Which company alcohol ink
@@tazeenfaheem6108 Let’s Resin. The direct link is in the description :)
I think the alcohol may have dissolved whatever "sticks" the tattoos; it looks a bit like they separated and may have been damaged.
Ooo I hadn’t thought of that. You might be right. At least my molds are fine tho. Once I put a clear coat on the trays should be ok too!
I like the purple one best. Then the cloud. I'm sorry t.he tattoos got. Lost. They were so pretty.
Omg I love that purple tray. It’s gorgeous
I would try doing the alcohol inks first. Let it cure, then do our tattoos. Use less ink. Let it cure, then do your tattoo.
Sadly, alcohol inks don't stay. They all fade over time. That's why people suggest not selling alcohol ink creations, cause over time they either fade away, or turn a weird color. Whether months or a year, they will not be the same.
These are so beautiful! I really like the cloud one.
I have petri dish coasters I bought in 2019 and the color of the ink is the same, only thing that changed is the clear resin yellowed.
It’s disappointing because alcohol inks can be pretty pricey. The Let’s Resin ones aren’t too bad but I can’t buy them in Canada. I had to go pick them up in the US. But nonetheless this was fun and I’ll enjoy the trinket dishes as long as I can!😊
