Brilliant idea that is surprisingly obvious. It just makes snese. I can see so many possibilities with todays technology like some software that could combine GPS with radar and camera data then display a sort of easy to see display of what is in front of you even at night.

I removed the mirrors on my 2014 CBR600RR and installed monitors under my windscreen but I'm not happy with the camera view. Too wide a view and night view all you can see is bright lights. Need to sort out a better camera setup...
Can you provide more details on the hardware for the mirror kit? It looks to be more than just the guts of a Garmen slapped into a mirror. It looks like a fun DIY project.
yes normal auto navs wont handle the harsh environment of a bike, (moisture, vibration etc...) these are raw screens manufactured for extreme conditions installed with custom software for bikes. notice how all motorcycle specific navs sold in stores are twice the price of a car nav.... they are much more resilient for the extreme conditions.
carbonRRpilot so it's your own custom PCB and software? That's pretty cool. I was under the impression that you purchased some sort of off the shelf kit and modified it to fit/work in a motorcycle mirror.
I am doing this one day . I plan on buying a Buell XB 9R and want to have rear facing cameras instead of mirrors but rather than mount the screens in the same location as regular mirrors they will be down inside the fairing just below and either side of the gauge cluster .
whats the police scanner a Bluetooth app or something? im ready to see the speaker installation or walk through of kinda how its setup! we get cops called at our hangout too, claim we are loitering lol
a second mod suggestion if i may ? I remember that some bikes had a fully enclosed chain guard usually packed with grease and eliminating the mess that a chain can cause and also extending the life of a chain while still been able to adjust the chain . What do you think ?

well each oem mirror shows about a 30 degree view with your elbow being most of it, this one mirror shows almost 180 degrees, all behind you on one mirror with no blindstpot at all. no probs for years for me but not sure about your state tho. check out my next vid on my newest mirror kitts.
This video might have saved me from completely removing my mirrors because I never use them and on my crf250l I get out in the middle of nowhere so that’d be sweet. Having the nav up higher is probably way easier to look at without having to look away from the road. In Arkansas and missouri where I ride the mirrors aren’t even required either
