For the price and my usage (as a tracker/secondary cam), I found it is a very good webcam. Only issue I have is with the razer software that sometimes I need to reseat the USB cable for it to detect the cam. It definitely can serve as a main cam for 1080p providing you have some sort of good lighting. High ISO noise control is ok, nothing fantastic but nothing bad, definitely far far better than my $30 Xiaomi 1080p webcam. But if you are intended to use it as a fullscreen streaming cam in a dark room with minimal background ambient led only, then I will recommend a proper camera with HDMI out. Hope it helps!
Hey the program does not track my face, the square with green and red vectors does not show. I only got little circles sorrounding light sources in my camera, like te light on my right behind me. I move the face but nothing happens, if i interfere the light and put my face or hand on it the little octopus gets crazy and moves around, so the tracking actually tracks the lights not my face. I have no idea what to do and i don't wanna mess around with options, and i can't find anything on the internet, what can i do?
@NPH TV - #NothingProHere ... After all these years, I guess 3 or more, of having TrackHat, and NEVER getting it to work properly, messing with it on and off, hours and days, over and over and over and... I finally realized they sent a bad camera! I figured out I had to put a rubber grommet under one side of the webcam to get it to show my head properly at horizontal. I can't say how much this infuriates me! The only reason I figured it out was trying your setup. I saw that the horizontal red line was way off! I could never tell anything was off, as mentioned, with the TrackHat led setup. And yes, my monitor is 100% level! I just checked it again with a 3' level. Any clue why?_*_ I have tried as many things as I can think of: disabling/enabling different things such as yaw, changing mapping, etc._ (After I get that sorted out, I will still have to figure out how to get it to work with BFV.) I would really appreciate your help, or help from anyone. Man, all the time I have wasted on this!
thank you this was very helpful! one thing is do you know how i can make it so that the camera doesn't move when tilting my head with x y z on if not it's fin i'll just leave it off
Hmm not sure if I understand your question correctly but, all the yaw, pitch, roll and x y z axis can be disabled separately in the settings. So if you want to disable "tilting" which I think would be "roll", try it to see if it helps :)
@@nothingproheretv when i tilt my head on the pitch axis for some reason it moves forwards on x as-well. i've now played with it a bit more and for some reason it's shuddering/vibrating quite a bit if i look a certain direction for to long or when i am looking down at all the buttons in the cockpit (i play DCS which might be part of the problem idk) it's fine when there is only a pitch axis but when i try to look at the buttons that are to the side and it has to register yaw it starts the same weird thing.
Can you tell me how do tracking in vr? I tried to do it with the module Valve Steam VR, but axis just dont work, like only with oculus and not tracking
Hi, Have you check the frequency of your camera inside opentrack with this resolution (on the tracker tab)? I have to run it with 720p at least to get 50fps. With below settings I get only 15fps which is very laggy
God this is so much better than opentrack and Ai track which COULD NOT detect my face at certain times
gosh yes this options are perfect...i only need left and right thats makes soooo better and head is not in pain lol thanks you🍉🍒
Thanks so much for the Tutorial and setup .
Is the Razer Kiyo pro definetly worth buying for this...or is there a better webcam to buy .

Which webcam do you recommend?
I used both cheap Amazon $30 webcam and Razer Kiyo Pro, both works equally well.

Neuralnet does not appear for me, is there any fix? Thanks for the video.
Run opentrack as administrator.
Doesn’t work
What's the lowest quality Webcam you can use?
I use a $20ish dollar 1080p webcam from Amazon and it works fine. I can also turn the resolution down in the app and still be able to detect.
@@nothingproheretv 30 or 60 fps
@@2Dark03 Just use your phone. Only do this if you have a webcam already
